It was rare for Harry to think the same way as his father, Norman Osborn.

Osborn Industries is currently only developing in the military field, and Norman has seen considerable limitations.

Although the profits from orders from the U.S. military are high, the company also faces enormous survival pressure; Osborne Industries' shift into the civilian sector can be seen to enhance its vitality.

Norman Osborne had figured out what Osborne Industries wanted to do in the consumer sector: he wanted to make anti-fatigue functional beverages.

A beverage that can make you feel energetic and has no addictive side effects.

In the process of researching human serum enhancement, they produced many byproducts, more than enough to develop Osborn's exclusive anti-fatigue functional beverage formula.

Moreover, with Walter by his side, he was not worried that developing the anti-fatigue drink formula would slow down the research progress of the enhanced serum. They might even use the successfully developed anti-fatigue drink to accelerate their research progress on the human enhanced serum project.

Norman Osborne's only concern was whether the public would accept green energy drinks.

He's gotten used to green, and now he likes it even more.

Norman boldly chose green as the main color for the secret room's decor. The dark green hue of the room looked somewhat eerie in the dimly lit space, but Norman didn't care.

Norman Osborne sent an email to Walter White, who was on vacation at home, detailing his new ideas for energy drinks that he had been working on for the past few days. Walter White replied today and readily agreed.

Walter White: "...Coffee isn't enough for you anymore, is it, Norman?"

"I want to make a blue drink, a more powerful version of your green drink."

Chapter 228 Thanksgiving Day

November 22nd, Thursday, Thanksgiving.

A Thanksgiving turkey dinner can be eaten at noon or in the evening.

Typically, the Thanksgiving turkey dinner in the evening is for family members only, while the Thanksgiving turkey dinner at noon is for friends outside the family.

Uncle Ben and Aunt Mei got up very early and went to the supermarket together to buy a fresh, tender turkey. They started preparing the turkey feast in the morning.

Around noon, Peter went next door to invite Philip Watson and his family to celebrate Thanksgiving together, something the two families had arranged a few days earlier.

Aunt May set out five sets of tableware on the table. There were four of them, and the empty set was for Mary Jane.

If Peter were to tell Liqun about this, Liqun would be utterly confused. In Liqun's mind, an empty set of cutlery should be reserved for the deceased, and Mary Jane was simply someone who didn't live with her father, Philip.

Peter's family had a turkey dinner at noon, while Gwen and George also spent Thanksgiving at Jefferson's house this year, but they had a turkey dinner.

Gwen was sitting in the living room, a football game playing on TV; Miles Morales was also sitting in the living room, on another sofa, occasionally glancing at Gwen Stacy with a hateful look.

Gwen knew why Miles hated her: Miles' father, Jefferson, had sold all of Miles' comic books to her at a low price.

Gwen knew Miles had lost a lot of money, so she figured it didn't matter if Miles glanced at her a couple of times; the comic books she'd sold were gone for good anyway.

The adults were chatting animatedly in the kitchen, preparing a Thanksgiving feast, while the children were having a cold war in the living room.

Gwen picked up her phone and texted someone, chatting briefly with Li Qun and then with Peter.

Gwen felt a little annoyed at the thought that she would be coming here with her father, George, for Christmas.

She longed to be like Li Qun, who didn't celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas, but only the Chinese New Year.

……

"Hi, Liqun, I'm here to pick up the roast chicken I ordered."

Wade Wilson stood at the counter. The Chinese restaurant was full of people. Natasha was waiting for Wade outside. They were going to Frank Castle's house to spend Thanksgiving together.

"Be careful not to burn yourself."

"These are fortune cookies for you."

Wade took the secret-recipe roasted chicken from Li Qun, carefully carrying the takeout bag as he walked out of the Chinese restaurant.

Wade picked up the takeout bag and showed it to Natasha.

“Look, this roast chicken isn’t very big. Frank’s family can finish it with their turkey,” Wade said.

"Get in the car." Natasha didn't intend to waste any more words with Wade. She told Wade to drive while she got the Chinese roast chicken.

In the past few days, Natasha dyed her hair blonde and rented a car.

"Why did you buy toys for Frank's daughter Lisa?" Natasha asked.

"You really want to go empty-handed?" Wade asked.

“The problem is I bought it too,” Natasha said.

“You are you, and I am me. We are divorced and no longer a family. This reason is perfectly reasonable,” Wade said.

“But Frank and his family don’t see it that way,” Natasha said.

“No, Lisa and Yelena both know that, only Frank and his wife would overthink it.”

Natasha shook her head slightly; she was speechless at Wade.

Upon arriving at Frank's house, Natasha and Wade got out of the car and unloaded a pile of things, which they stacked like a small mountain on the roadside.

Natasha rang the doorbell, and Frank, along with his daughter Lisa and goddaughter Yelena, came out to help move things.

"What did you all buy? That's too much!" Frank stared in shock at the mountain of gifts piled up by the roadside.

"We bought some for each of you."

“This pile is what I bought, and this pile is what Wade bought,” Natasha said to Frank Castle.

"Hey, bro~!!" Wade stepped forward and bumped fists with Frank, who then gave Wade a very tight hug after the fist bump.

“Hey bro, you’re being too polite,” Frank said to Wade.

“I bought some for myself too, so we’ve all mixed together,” Wade said to Frank with a smile.

"Hi, Lisa, do you want to help too?"

"You can take these few, and leave the rest to us."

Wade crouched down and assigned Lisa a task. Lisa carefully carried the gift into the house and placed it in the corner of the living room.

"Maria, can you rest for a bit? Come here quickly."

After moving all the gifts inside, Frank called his wife Maria over with mixed feelings.

The gifts Natasha and Wade bought were toys and clothes. The clothes didn't have tags, but Frank could tell they were expensive.

“Frank, the one you think is expensive is the one Natasha bought,” Wade whispered to Frank.

"Really?" Frank looked at Wade with suspicion.

"I can only afford shirts."

Wade took two men's shirts out of the gift bag and handed one of the floral shirts to Frank.

"This looks like something you'd wear on a Hawaiian beach," Frank remarked.

"I wore this when I was on vacation at the beach. Out-of-season clothes are very cheap," Wade said.

Wade only bought clothes for Frank; he didn't buy any clothes for women or girls, while Natasha bought clothes for everyone.

Try it on to see if it fits.

Natasha handed Frank a gift bag containing a bomber jacket.

Frank immediately changed into the jacket, which fit him perfectly. The color of the jacket reminded Frank of his time in the army.

Maria and Natasha took their new clothes to the bedroom to change, while Lisa excitedly unwrapped her gifts.

Wow! It's a Barbie doll!

"What is this? A cement mixer truck?"

Lisa looked up at Wade, and Frank also turned to look at Wade.

"This isn't your average cement mixer truck, it's a Transformer!" Wade crouched down and explained to Lisa.

“This is a boy’s toy. Isn’t it, Dad?” Lisa said, looking at her father, Frank.

Frank crouched down too, but he looked at the Transformer mixer truck and thought the gift was cool.

“No one says Transformers are only for boys; girls can play with them too,” Wade told Lisa.

“Lisa, if you don’t like this toy, Daddy can put it away for you,” Frank said.

“This isn’t for you, Frank,” Wade said.

“This is Lisa’s,” Frank said with a smile.

Lisa continued unpacking the gifts; Natasha had bought typical girly toys, like the Barbie doll set she'd just received.

"Bulldozer, road roller, crane, excavator..." Lisa said, somewhat speechlessly, as she unpacked a set of Transformers.

"The five of them are a set. Besides being able to transform individually, they can also combine to transform. They are the Transformers Devastator!" Wade explained happily to Lisa.

Frank Castle looked at his daughter Lisa with envy. He had dreamed of having a set of Transformers toys like this when he was a child, but no one would buy it for him.

Chapter 229 Everyone Has Chicken

"Young Master Harry..."

Who's here?

"It's your classmate Leon. He brought you a roast chicken."

"Where is he? Why don't you call him in?"

"Lyon said he was going to deliver roast chicken to other friends as well."

“Liqun is really busy,” Harry said.

"Bernard, give me the roast chicken, I'll take it to the kitchen myself."

"Here you go, young master."

Harry picked up the roast chicken and smelled it; even through the foil and lotus leaf, he could smell a faint aroma of the roast chicken from the inside.

Harry felt a pang of envy for Li Qun once again.

Li Qun is not afraid of allergies no matter what she eats, and her uncle is a chef whose family owns a Chinese restaurant, so she can eat all kinds of delicious food.

On the street, Li Qun walked into an empty alley, and the next moment he appeared in another alley.
