"Where does he sleep?" Gwen asked.

“Dr. Banner said he wants to sleep on the sofa,” Peter replied.

"Then let him sleep on the sofa."

At four o'clock in the afternoon, Dr. Banner appeared at the apartment door, and Li Qun warmly welcomed him into the house.

“Peter isn’t here,” Dr. Banner said quietly.

“I know. He said he was going to catch up on his sleep, but he actually went out to do a good deed,” Li Qun whispered to Dr. Banner.

"Where are the others?" Dr. Banner asked in a low voice.

"They're all in their own rooms."

“I brought you a fish. Let’s cook it tonight,” Dr. Banner said.

"fish?"

Dr. Banner handed the bag to Li Qun, who took it and checked it in the kitchen sink. He felt that Dr. Banner had just bought and killed fish from a fish stall in the port city.

"Steam it, or braise it?" Li Qun asked Dr. Banner as he came out of the kitchen.

“It’s your decision,” Dr. Banner said.

"How about a crispy sweet and sour fish?!"

"Do you have a lot of oil here?" Dr. Banner asked.

"Steaming is better; I need to reduce the fumes." Li Qun went back to the kitchen.

Peter opened the bedroom door, walked out, and plunged into the bathroom for a shower.

After Peter finished showering, he dried his wet hair with a towel and then saw Dr. Banner sitting in the living room.

"Hi, good afternoon, Peter."

"Ban, Dr. Banner! You've arrived! When did you get here?"

"While you are sleeping."

"I'll go check the kitchen."

As dinner time approached, Gwen and Stephanie both came out of their rooms and paced back and forth between the kitchen and the dining table.

"It seems you're not quite used to sharing an apartment yet, you're all hiding in your rooms," Dr. Banner said to the three of them with a smile.

"Dinner's ready!" Li Qun called out as he carried the fish out of the kitchen.

“I’m here.” Dr. Banner got up and walked to the dining table, sitting down naturally.

"Oh, how lavish!"

"I bought this fish. The steamed fish made by Liqun looks good."

Chapter 357 What will I still have four years later?

Nine o'clock in the morning, at the Rune Alich Auditorium.

"Columbia University has always been a bastion of intellectual freedom and academic independence!"

"In this challenging era, we need your wisdom, courage, and creativity more than ever before!"

"Now, please welcome Dr. Bruce Banner!!"

Columbia University President Bojell walked to the side of the podium and handed the microphone to Bruce Banner.

"Thank you, thank you everyone."

"Let me begin."

"Giving this speech is not an easy task for me. This is the third or fourth similar speech I have given in my life..."

Li Qun, Peter, Gwen, and Stephanie sat together, having already heard Bruce Banner's speech the night before.

Dr. Banner and the four of them had a rehearsal that lasted all night, and they found out a lot of problems for Dr. Banner.

"In terms of public perception of success, you have already achieved that."

"Your future income will be very high because you have entered an elite university, and your future job prestige is also easy to predict."

“每年有280万人从高中毕业,而180万人进入大学,而其中只有4到6万人进入像哥伦比亚大学这样的精英大学。你和你们的同学们基本上代表了18岁这个年龄群体的前2%。非常明显,你们的未来会非常不错。”

"Of course, the predictions for each of your futures are not determined by the university's reputation, but by other factors."

"Personal talents, past experiences, resources provided by parents..."

"Because you were admitted to this university, no matter what you do or how well you do in college, people will assume you are excellent."

"You've come, and you'll graduate too, and the graduation rate is one of the indicators of competition among universities. In other words, no matter what you learn, the university will ensure you graduate smoothly in order to maintain the graduation rate..."

"Think carefully, four years from now, when you graduate, what will you have?!"

"Think about it carefully!"

Dr. Banner was giving a passionate speech on the stage, while Li Qun was carefully observing the situation in the auditorium from below.

On the periphery of the freshmen listening to the speech, General Ross, Colonel Bronsky, and Norman Osborne mingled with the school's leaders and professors, listening to Dr. Banner's freshman address and discussing in hushed tones.

“Thought-provoking,” General Ross said with a polite smile.

"He's still as energetic as ever." Among the professors were old acquaintances of Banner.

"Judging from what he said, he didn't just keep his research behind closed doors; he still had contact with the outside world."

"However, we haven't heard from him in a long time."

"Ladies and gentlemen, I confess that I started corresponding with Dr. Banner two years ago, and we often discuss artificial intelligence," Dr. Otto said with a smile.

"So, you got Banner's help, that's why the project is progressing so fast?"

"Your words not only insult me, but also Banner."

"Could you please be a little quieter? The students are looking over here," the principal reminded them.

Half an hour later, Dr. Banner's speech ended, and the freshmen in the audience burst into thunderous applause.

This marked the end of the orientation ceremony. The new students stood up from the stage and gathered around Dr. Banner to take photos, ask questions, and request autographs.

An invisible force was at work around Dr. Banner's body, calming the excited freshmen after the speech and allowing them to interact with him in an orderly manner.

Hearing that the school had invited Bruce Banner as a mystery guest speaker, other students from the school also rushed to the auditorium.

“The more you learn, the more you can appreciate the incredible nature of Dr. Banner,” Li Qun explained to Peter, Gwen, and Stephanie, explaining the reason for the other students’ fervor for Dr. Banner who hadn’t attended the lecture.

Why did Dr. Banner refuse to sign?

"It's because I'm worried that someone might use his signature for bad purposes," Li Qun replied.

In the crowd, Dr. Banner raised his hand to refuse every student who asked for his autograph.

Dr. Banner is no ordinary person; he has extracted the Hulk's power as a source of magic, and the name he signs possesses magical power.

"Students, please stop your frenzied actions..."

"I said stop."

The principal's voice came from the speakers, quieting the students down. The principal then said a few more words and asked the students to disperse from Dr. Banner's side.

The principal walked up to Dr. Banner, and the school's professors and other important figures came to stand beside him.

"It's been a long time."

General Ross extended his hand.

Dr. Banner looked at General Ross but did not shake his hand; General Ross withdrew his hand himself.

“Hello, Dr. Banner, I’ve heard so much about you.” Bronsky extended his hand, and Dr. Banner shook it.

The two men exerted force on each other's palms, and Dr. Banner squeezed Bronsky's hand until it hurt.

“Hello, Dr. Banner.” Norman extended his hand to Banner for a handshake, which Banner gently grasped and then released.

"Finally, we meet!" Dr. Otto smiled at Dr. Banner, sensing Dr. Banner's hostility toward the military.

“I would love to visit your artificial intelligence lab,” Dr. Banner said.

Let's set a time!

"Hello, Dr. Banner, I am Cort Connors, and I research human regeneration technology."

Dr. Banner shook hands and greeted each of the Columbia University professors, while the school's photographers took pictures.

After leaving the auditorium, they, like the freshmen today, began to tour the Columbia University campus accompanied by a group of professors.

While Dr. Banner toured the campus, Li Qun and his three companions followed behind, visiting the Lowe Library, Butler Library, Alfred Student Center, John Jay Building, and Hamilton Building.

At lunchtime, they ate lunch in the school cafeteria on the first floor of Jay Building.

"General Ross, you are very brave to face me with only one person."

Dr. Banner and General Ross sat facing each other in the dining room.

"Have you learned to control yourself? Are you no longer angry?" General Ross asked.

"After listening to my speech, do you think I am still angry?" Dr. Banner asked.

"Was that your student? I remember you strongly opposed human experimentation, why did you break your principles?"

"What experiment?"

Dr. Banner followed General Ross's gaze and saw that General Ross was looking at the four people at Li Qun's table.

“That boy, that’s Spider-Man. You turned him into a monster like yourself,” General Ross said.

Dr. Banner's gaze lingered on Peter.

“He’s much more normal now; he’s neither schizophrenic nor is he being controlled by anger.”

“Peter was not born in a laboratory; he was born in love.”

“Peter?” General Ross tilted his head.

"Do you think it's Liqun?"
