America: A Prodigy of Stereotypes

"what?"
The man in the trench coat suddenly pulled a pistol from his coat and performed a gunfight scene from a Western movie in front of Peter.
The bullets pierced six holes in the brick wall behind Peter, but none of them hit him.
"What?" The man in the trench coat was now surprised.
He was about to continue firing when Peter's fist landed on his chin.
After receiving kung fu training from Li Qun and his father, Peter became very fond of the uppercut, which could easily knock people unconscious.
The pistol flew out of the man's hand, and Peter immediately recognized the model of the pistol from the man in the trench coat.
"This time...weapons confiscated."
It was late August, and the temperature was still quite high, unlike winter when it would freeze to death. Peter left the man in the alley, placed him in a comfortable sleeping position against the wall, and left as if nothing had happened.
Half an hour after Peter left, the man opened his eyes.
He removed a human skin hood from his head.
He is Bronsky.
"The hood almost broke."
Bronsky felt no pain, put the hood back on, and walked out of the alley.
He came to test something, and now he's confirmed it.
Li Qun Liu is Spider-Man himself.
General Ross gave him a mission: to get close to Li Qun and verify this hypothesis.
General Ross believed that the Spider-Man swinging between the skyscrapers of Manhattan, New York City, could not have been created by accident, but could only be the work of a laboratory or a scientist.
It was none other than Bruce Banner's masterpiece.
General Ross knew that Bruce Banner wrote the recommendation letter for Li Qun's college application.
Li Qun's university recommendation letter was too accidental. You can't just write a recommendation letter for someone like Bruce Banner because he likes Chinese food, can you?
In addition, General Ross was convinced that Bruce Banner's laboratory was located in Chinatown, where the Lich family ran a Chinese restaurant. General Ross had a specific location of suspicion: the basement of the Chinatown laundromat.
The laundromat owner was terminally ill with cancer and didn't have long to live, but now General Ross learned that the laundromat owner's cancer was actually about to be cured.
This was Bruce Banner sending him a clear signal that the most outstanding scientist of this century had returned.
……
……
At the Hamburger Supermarket, Emil Bronsky and Thaddeus E. Ross sat facing each other in a booth, eating fries and hamburgers.
The two men were dressed in casual clothes, like two New York blue-collar workers on leave.
“Hey, are we really going to talk here?” Bronsky asked.
"Can't you see I have a newspaper in my hand?" General Ross said.
"Then I'll keep it simple."
"I'm listening."
“Right guess. Even if I’m wrong, Spider-Man will just be another kid,” Bronsky said.
"Hmm, continue."
“Norman’s kid is taking some kind of green pill, probably a micro-dose solid version of the serum,” Bronsky said.
"Is it working well?" General Ross put down his newspaper and turned the page.
“He only told me that he was cured of his allergies and could eat many of the things he used to be allergic to,” Bronsky said.
“Osborne Industries’ market value will multiply several times over in the future. I suggest you buy more Osborne stock,” General Ross said.
“When will the investigation end? I can’t wait to do the drug tolerance test,” Bronsky said.
"Norman is preparing."
At this time, Walter White was disgustedly doing his old job in the laboratory, with Norman as his assistant.
They produced every drug that could be made in the lab that could induce physiological drug dependence, just waiting for Bronsky to test the physiological limits of serum enhancement.
Chapter 356 Adaptation and Mastalgia
"See, we've got it," the white-robed monk reminded Liqun.
Li Qun raised his right hand, and the Samadhi True Fire burned fiercely.
"Wow, I feel like I'm not afraid anymore," Li Qun said calmly.
"Don't you find it strange? You were easily ignited by my Samadhi True Fire, like a dry twig," Red Boy said.
"I first need to understand the concept of Samadhi Fire in order to know why I am easily set ablaze by it," Li Qun said.
"See you tomorrow."
Li Qun's body disintegrated once again as it was burned by the Samadhi Fire.
……
He gets up with the Golden Cudgel, goes to the rooftop for morning exercise, takes a cold shower after exercise, and then returns to his room to continue reading Taoist classics, exploring the mysteries of Samadhi Fire in the books.
"The turbid and yin energy..."
I was just being asked why I'm so easily set ablaze by the Samadhi Fire, and now I understand—it's because I have too much yin and turbid energy.
Li Qun glanced out the window.
Living in New York, how could one not be surrounded by a heavy, gloomy atmosphere?
Yin and turbid energy can be seen as a kind of negative energy, and the city of New York is a huge generator of negative energy.
Li Qun put down the Taoist classics and went into the kitchen to start cooking.
He wasn't preparing breakfast or lunch; he just wanted to show his downstairs neighbor some care and concern.
The four college students living upstairs are having a tough time. Li Qun hopes to avoid straining her relationship with the single mother downstairs.
Gwen followed the aroma into the kitchen and curiously lifted the lid to take a look.
What's stewing in the pot?
"Tomato and potato stew with beef brisket. I plan to give half of this pot to Mrs. Grace downstairs," Li Qun said.
“You have to wait for the right opportunity, in case she’s not home,” Gwen said.
“I’ve figured out when she comes home to rest every day; she’s always home around noon,” Li Qun said.
"Don't you want to sleep a little longer? We finished watching the movie at 3 a.m. last night."
"Remember to call me for lunch, don't let me sleep." Gwen said before going back to her room to continue sleeping.
At noon, Mrs. Grace, who lived downstairs, had just returned home and was standing next to the microwave heating up her simple lunch when someone knocked on the door.
"Hi, good afternoon, Mrs. Grace. This is our tomato and potato stew with beef brisket. We made a lot and thought we'd share some with you."
Li Qun stood at Mrs. Grace's door, holding an enamel pot.
"Uh, thank you."
"You're welcome."
After Mrs. Grace took the stewed beef brisket, Li Qun immediately closed her door and went back upstairs, leaving Mrs. Grace standing there dumbfounded, as if a ghost had just come by.
"Mother?"
Mrs. Grace and her son sat at the dining table, eating microwaved bread with braised beef brisket.
"It's delicious! Mom, are they students from a culinary academy?"
"No, no. They are freshmen at Columbia University, the smartest college students in all of New York."
"You'll be going to the same university as them in the future."
After lunch, Mrs. Grace rang the doorbell of Peter's apartment. Peter opened the door, and Mrs. Grace returned the enameled pot and thanked him.
“I don’t understand why Mrs. Grace insists on living here. It would be much easier to move elsewhere, at least she wouldn’t have to do a part-time job anymore,” Peter said.
"I guess it's about school."
“Some schools have requirements regarding students’ home addresses,” Gwen said.
"It starts tomorrow," Li Qun said.
The four people sat at the dining table, leisurely eating lunch and chatting.
“Orientation week…” Peter said.
“There are no classes, we’re just getting familiar with the new environment, what’s there to be nervous about?” Gwen said.
“On the first day of orientation week, all the new students gathered in the auditorium for a speech by the principal and a surprise guest. And we all knew who this surprise guest was,” Peter said.
“The one who should be nervous is Bruce Banner,” Gwen said.
“He’ll come over for dinner tonight, then stay here for the night, and go to school with us early the next morning,” Li Qun said.
"You agreed to let him come over for the night?" Gwen asked, frowning.
“That’s what Peter and I were nervous about. We accidentally agreed to Dr. Banner’s request too quickly,” Li Qun said.
"Okay, okay..."
“Stephanie, what kind of severe punishment do you think they should receive for breaking our cohabitation rules for the first time?” Gwen turned to Stephanie.
“Let them wash the dishes and clean up until the first class,” Stephanie said.
"good idea."
Peter and Li Qun instantly relaxed; it was just housework, that was great.
"There can't be a next time."
“Even though he’s the famous Dr. Bruce Banner, we can’t spoil him,” Gwen cautioned.
“We understand,” Peter said.
