Inside the Osborne Laboratory, Peter works as Norman's lab assistant.

Before heading to hell, Bruce Banner arranged for Wade to keep an eye on Leopold and for Peter to keep an eye on Norman Osborn.

“Peter, the cross is no use to me. Take off the necklace.”

"Also, rinse your mouth; it smells like garlic."

Peter scratched his cheek awkwardly; it was Harry who had suggested he do it.

Chapter 397 I'm Not Human Anymore, Peter!

The magic teleportation array lit up with a green light, and green flames ignited, revealing the figures of Li Qun and Dr. Banner within it.

"How is the situation?" Old Wang asked Bruce Banner, holding the magic weapon.

"He gave me this, the Dark Book."

“Liqun is right, all they do is copy homework,” Banner replied.

"Which version of the Dark Book is this?" asked the old mage, Wang.

“An older version than the one in the library, with more content, and even more danger,” Banner replied.

"What do we do now?" Old Wang asked.

“Let me investigate what the vampire and werewolf curse in the Dark Book really is all about,” Banner said.

Li Qun transformed the golden cudgel back into a fine needle and inserted it back into his ear, also removing his armor.

"The Dark Book can tempt people to fall, which is too dangerous."

“My suggestion is to send them to heaven,” said Master Wang.

“Hey, you can’t do that!” Harry shouted from behind Old Wang.

Wade looked at Leopold, Peter was by Norman's side, and Harry was in the Sanctum Sanctorum, keeping Old Wong company.

“There’s no way. Two insignificant people aren’t enough for the Sorcerer Supreme to sacrifice for them,” Old Wang said, turning to Harry.

“One of them is my father,” Harry said seriously.

"But he's now a dangerous vampire."

Old Wang turned around and grabbed Harry by the collar, his expression equally serious.

"The Dark Book cannot corrupt me."

“How do you know? You’re not a member of the Montaigne family,” the Wizard King said to Bruce Banner.

“Because of Hulk,” Banner said casually.

"You can't use the Hulk as a shield for everything."

“I’m serious. The source of Hulk’s power is above the Dark Book. Hulk is actually more dangerous than the Dark Book,” Banner said.

"Aren't you afraid of being swallowed by the Hulk one day?" Old Wang asked.

“I am the Hulk,” Banner said.

"You win." Old Wang had nothing more to say to Banner.

"Liqun, you and Harry should go back and rest."

"Let's go, Harry."

Li Qun walked to Harry's side.

"Please don't kill my father and Leo, I beg you."

Harry looked at Old Wang and Dr. Banner.

"Believe me, I said I would turn them back."

"I can share my thought process with you."

"I will develop a 'Mortal Curse,' something disgusting like the 'Vampire Curse' or the 'Werewolf Curse,' which will curse non-human beings to become human," Dr. Banner said.

“…Wow, what an amazing idea! I want to learn this!” Old Wang exclaimed in amazement as he looked at Banner.

"I believe you, Dr. Banner."

“Dr. Banner, I want to learn this too!” Li Qun said.

“If I can’t find a way to turn them back in the Dark Book, this is the only way I can go,” Banner said.

"Uncle Norman, you can't have any more blood drawn. You've reached your limit."

Peter grabbed Norman's wrist, stopping him from drawing blood from himself again.

Norman simply looked at Peter without saying a word, silently engaging in a power struggle with him.

Norman accidentally crushed the blood collection tube in his hand, but he did not break free from Peter's grip.

“You’re really strong, young man,” Norman said, looking at Peter.

"Bruce Banner has his own super-soldier serum formula?"

“Uh, yes.” Peter chose to tell Norman a little lie.

"After becoming a vampire, I thought my power had exceeded the limits of human body modification, but I was wrong."

"Or rather, you have non-human parts in your body."

Norman looked at Peter, who felt a little guilty under Norman's gaze and let go of his hand.

Norman looked at the bruise on his wrist where Peter had been holding him, but thanks to his vampire healing abilities, he recovered quickly.

"Uncle Norman, your teeth have gotten longer..."

“Peter, you won’t lay a hand on me, will you?” Norman asked.

"I was kidding."

Norman smiled at Peter, but his eyes remained fixed on Peter's neck.

Peter's spider-sense kicked in, and his expression gradually turned serious.

“Dr. Banner studied Spider-Man’s webs. I have web-shooters on my wrists. The artificial webs are far stronger than steel, and I will use them when necessary.” Peter continued to lie to Norman.

"Really?"

Norman moved his chin from side to side.

"Harry is living with you now, right?"

“Harry is with Dr. Banner now,” Peter replied.

“Liqun is with Harry, isn’t he?” Norman laughed.

“Uncle Norman, you can’t let your vampire instincts control you! You have to fight against them!!” Peter shouted.

"Correct."

Norman sat down, his gaze sweeping over everything in the lab before returning to Peter.

Norman's vision changed; he began to see through Peter's body, seeing Peter's veins and blood flowing through his body.

"Peter, come let your uncle give you a hug."

Norman stood up and opened his arms to Peter.

“Uncle Norman, are you sober?” Peter asked.

Norman could hear Peter's heartbeat and breathing, but he couldn't make out Peter's voice.

“Look at me, Peter…”

Peter avoided Norman's gaze.

Dr. Banner warned Peter that vampires have hypnotic abilities and that he should not make eye contact with Norman.

“I need to control you, Uncle Norman.”

Peter acted swiftly, launching a web from his wrist that bound Norman into a cocoon, leaving only his head sticking out of the web.

Peter took out his phone and tried to call Dr. Banner, wanting to tell him that Norman Osborn was on the verge of getting out of control.

"Dr. Banner! I am Peter!!"

“Peter, I’m back. But there’s bad news. It will be a while before I can turn them back.”

“I’m about to lose control here,” Peter said nervously.

"Have you taken any measures?" Dr. Banner asked.

“I’ve trapped Uncle Norman in a spider web,” Peter replied.

"I'm coming right now."

In the laboratory, a portal appeared, and Dr. Banner walked out of the portal with his cell phone in his hand, and immediately saw Norman Osborn, who had been turned into a cocoon by Peter.

Banner raised his hand and used a portal to send Norman away.

"Dr. Banner, where did you send Uncle Norman?"

"He'll have to stay in the dungeons of the Sanctuary forever."

“What about Osborn? He can’t be missing for too long,” Peter asked.

“We need to find Stephanie’s father, Walter White. Norman Osborne has contingency plans in place,” Dr. Banner replied.

“Come with me, Peter.”

Banner beckoned Peter to enter the portal.
