Reincarnated As A Chameleon And Eating Everything To Evolve

With Matthew shouting towards the kids to suddenly start biting the deers' neck again, the kids were still confused at first, but this time it's not because they were hesitant to use their mouth to kill the deers, but instead, they were processing the second part of Matthew's command which is not to drink or eat any of the deers' meat or blood which is quite hard to do if they are practically using their mouths to tear off a piece of their flesh.

Fortunately, Matthew who had seen the deers' condition with his own eyes had calmed down a little bit knowing they still had some time before dying from his venom concoction.

'And running around surely helps spread the venom even faster in their system. But the deers were quite amazing, being able to run this far in this bumpy and uneven forest terrain with only about 15 to 20 seconds. I guess if you specialize in something then you will be really good at it and the art of running away is also not an exception for that.'

Matthew then quickly told the kids who were still trying to process Matthew's second command,

"Don't bite them this time, there will be a slight chance you will end up like them if you accidentally eat my venom."

"Venom? What is that brother?" The first kobold kid asked

"Explanations later, they will die soon if you don't kill them first. Now, instead of using mouths, use your claws to grip their necks tightly and tear them just like when you bite the deer before. It should be slightly harder this time since our mouths are stronger than our claws, but you kids need to get used to it since using your claws will be a lot more convenient than using your mouth in a lot of cases."

Matthew then walked up to one of the limp deers and demonstrated to the kids which part of the deer's neck they should pinch and how they should bend their fingers slightly when thrusting into the deer's neck because they might sprain their fingers if they fully straightened their fingers. But Matthew didn't really do it to the deer since he didn't want the kids to miss out on their level.

With 4 deers laying on the ground, Matthew told the kids that each one of them should kill one deer each and the last deer will be killed together just like the leader of the deer before that was choked by Matthew.

Wanting to do it together, the three kids got into position first, standing in front of the deer of their choosing, before the first kobold kid started counting down from 3.

"3, 2, 1!" 

Three of their hands thrust into the deer's neck exactly like how Matthew taught them to do it and the first kobold kid counted again,

"1, 2, 3!" 

This time, after grabbing the flesh of the deers, they pulled out their hands from the deers' necks along with the flesh that they had held on to, tearing the deer's neck out.

Blood once again started to gush out after the deers' necks were torn apart. And this time, Matthew reminded the kids once again not to lick their claws or any parts of their bodies that were stained by the blood and told them that they would be going back to the lake first after this to clean up the bloodstain on their bodies.

Matthew then told the kids to finish the fourth deer together just like he planned before and waited for about a minute to make sure the four deers were really dead.

However, Matthew didn't have to wait for that long as he suddenly saw the notifications from the system,

Matthew was usually happy when he saw a notification from the system that his prey had really died, but this time, he was worried instead.

'Wait, does this mean that I'm the one who killed the deers? Was it my venom who killed the deers in the end?'

'System? Can you please tell me what happened? Did I get all the levels or experience or whatever this world uses to level up? Why didn't I get the notification earlier when I choked the deer instead of injecting it with venom?'

[Host's venom had done quite a substantial amount of damage to the deers hence why the ***!!!Information Classified¡¡¡*** are also distributed towards the host. But the host didn't get all the ***!!!Information Classified¡¡¡*** since other parties had also contributed in dealing significant damage to the deers.]

Matthew had always listened closely to what the system was saying since it was always answering his question whether it was a detailed explanation or even a simple answer telling him the system doesn't have the information about it. 

However, this is the first time that he heard the machine-like voice in his head saying something like 'Information Classified' to substitute for another word.

'The system would usually say it doesn't know if I asked something that it couldn't answer, but what does that mean?'

'System, what does 'Information Classified' mean?'

[The system has been programmed to not explain nor say the ***!!!Information Classified¡¡¡*** for now until further instructions were given.]

'For now? Then when will I be able to know about it?'

[Only God knows.]

'Excuse me? What?'

[I was programmed to say those exact words when the host asks about it.]

'Well, I guess I now have something to talk about with the bearded God when I see him again…'

'Which means when I'm dead again? No, no, no. I better not plan to speak with the bearded God anytime soon.'

'Alright then system, so what I understand from your very detailed explanation that clearly didn't hide anything from me is that me and three kobold kids got that information classified thingy distributed between us?'

[Yes, the host is correct.]

'I will just call that information classified thing as exp since those sentences would also make complete sense if I substitute the word with exp.' Matthew decided in his mind.

The kids had been standing while looking at Matthew who seemed to be busy with something and didn't bother him since Matthew didn't look idle or spaced out even though he was practically staring into the empty air in front of him.

And now that Matthew had finished his talk with the system, he turned towards the kids and said,

"Alright kids, since we don't want to be wasting our time dragging all these deers back to our base, I will eat here first. You three be patient for a while and don't eat yet before we clean those blood off of your bodies. I don't want to take any chances with those venoms."

"Wait a minute brother Matthew, we will gather the twigs first."

Matthew wanted to say that they didn't need to do that, but seeing the kids seemed enthusiastic when they set out towards the forest, he just let them do what they wanted to do while he walked towards one of the deers and started eating it raw just like how he usually does it.

Eating the deers with incredible speed, Matthew went through 1 deer in about 10 minutes and by the time the kids had returned with the dry leaves, twigs, and some herbs that Matthew had seen in the kobold village before, Matthew was in the middle of eating through his second deer.

With blood all over his mouth and the gruesome state of the half-eaten deer, even the kids who were used to seeing blood and deer carcasses flinched a little because Matthew currently looked no different than a beast who was munching down on its prey.

The first kobold kid dropped the twigs that he was carrying on his hands and just stood there staring at Matthew with his mouth agape before then he realized something and said,

"BROTHER! WAIT! IT'S RAW!"

"Grandpa said that eating things raw were only for emergencies! It's better if we cook them first! I can already create a small fire and I've already brought some herbs so it will be easy for us to cook the deers! And you said that their meat and blood are dangerous, are you really okay after eating so much of it!?"

Matthew then swallowed the deer meat that was already in his mouth first before speaking,

"First of all kid, I clearly know that this is raw. Second, I am used to eating things raw so I won't have any problems eating any meat raw, but I also won't refuse if you want to cook the deer and share it with me later. Third, that's a good question! It is actually one of my abilities that caused the deers to be limp and powerless, hence it's okay for me to eat them since my own ability won't hurt me."

"And fourth, kid, who taught you to scream in that exact tone of voice?"
