That Adonis is Mine!

Sophie waking up groggy, unsure what the time is. Looking at empty bed, disheveled bed sheet and few notes on her side table gave her understanding her customer had left her room.

Sophie sluggishly raise her body up, leaning at headboard and reach out for the money on the table.

She received a thousand for her last night service, which was quite high. A thousand could helped her settle her rent, kitchen necessity, and few more to spend on herself. In her line of work, appearance is utmost crucial after skill in bed.

She found herself laughable, a child from prominent family clan now became a prostitute. How laughable.

Not that she wanted to be like this, but she can't afford to change herself. Spending years of her life, grooming herself to be a wife, with no skill at all - how could she survive? Plus with that jerk blocking her path, why even bother. Sophie had given up in walking under the sun anymore.

A knocked heard from outside her house. Sophie turned her head to the right, looking at a light switch near her bed. It was switched off. The door light outside her house should be off, so who is knocking on her door?

Sophie lazily stand up, walked to the door, placing the chain door before she open it up. From the gap, stood John Doe. She closed the door, unchained then leave after open the door slightly. John invited himself in and closed the door behind him.

"Why are you here?"

"I'm bringing you lunch."

Looking at his empty hand, Sophie raise her eyebrow. John Doe noticed her gaze, reply to her sheepishly.

"A delivery lunch. What you want to eat?"

"Anything. You decide."

John nodded then made a call. afterwards, he pull out and handed over a bar of chocolate to Sophie, "Here, eat this for time being."

After a while, a deliveryman came with their lunch. John Doe paid for those and served them on dining table. Sophie sit opposite him at the small table for two.

As she was eating, her unties long black hair slipped over her shoulder, disrupting her view. Intended to find a hairband, Sophie stand up to search for one. but before she could do so, John Doe pull out a silver red orchid barrette and placed on the table , "For you."

Sophie looked him in silent. Sophie made a mental note on John's odd action.

'Free food. Chocolate. Flower Hairpin. Is today my birthday?'

Sophie turned her head to her left, looking at her wall calendar. After a moment, she finally understood. Her lips curled upwards and her eyes beamed with delighted. Faking ignorance, Sophie continue eating her delicious free lunch.

John stayed for a while before taking his leave. Throughout the day, John Doe been giving her more delicious food and snack, small accessories like flower motif hair clips, a cross pendents and dried four leave clover pressed bookmark. But he still missing one thing.


Noticing that John Doe going to leave and he had nothing more to offer, Sophie took the step to complete her day. With John opening the door, Sophie stood so close to him that he could feel her breath near his face. Her eyes twinkles and he could see himself reflected.

Sophie tiptoed to decrease the height difference between them and trying to smooch on his cheek. But when she wanted to do so, John lifted his head a bit and to a side so instead of kissing his cheek, Sophie landed on his lips.

Ignoring John little trick, Sophie beamed a smile and whispered.

"You missed out one important gift. A kiss."

John eyes gleamed in fire. He lifted her head a bit and went for a kiss.

One kiss.

Second kiss.

Third kiss.

...and those short peck became passionate one...
