The Adventurer System

"Uh-eh!"

Someone took the attention of Alison and her party members when their ears perceived a wondering voice.

"Who is it, Gerun?" Kin asked the man who holding sparkling Grimoire, more likely, his Grimoire was one of the rare items in the VR world.

A man had 6 ft of height, had brown hair, and wearing a white shimmering robe shook his head. It seemed, Gerun belonged to the mage or arcane class. "I don't know, it must be..."

Everyone suddenly glimpsed where at Asarki's location even Alison.

"Oh, that is the woman who was saved by Ina?" What she needs from us, she should stay away from us." Jinro said with a gruff tone.

"Jinro, why don't you try to become polite to others? You always disrespecting everyone, you shouldn't belong at this party." Kin said as she was annoyed by this man attitude.

"What did you say? You're the one who must not belong in this party since your assassin ability is weaker than the level 20 adventurer." Jinro teased her.

Jinro and Kin charged their heads, pushing each other as they were really not a perfect fit as teammates.

"Enough, don't make any scene here..." Alison warned them, then pointed her eyes at Asarki and eventually came closer to her. She blinked a couple of times as she slightly recognised who was this woman.

"Ms. Alison, thank you for saving us." Asarki said with a polite tone, then bowed her head to literally give the appreciation for saving her.

"Raise your head." Then suddenly she came closer head to her, way more looked like Alison wanted to whisper some words to her. "What are you doing here? This place is not safe for you, Ms. Ari..." Alison murmured and didn't complete her sentence.

Asarki pointed her index finger in front of her lips as she wanted Alison to not spit more words from her identity. "Shh... Ms. Alison, don't reveal my true name here."

Alison frowned her brows, then started to again to have a formal conversation with her. "Oh, I'm sorry. But what are you doing here in this place? You need to leave right now."

Asarki shook her head while slowly closing her eyes at the same time. "I can't Ms. Alison, my party member is still there." She pointed to the back of white grasshoppers since behind it was the exact location of Grim Draigh. 

Yet, the 4 other members of Alison look at each other, then raised their shoulders a bit.

"Did you know who is she?" Jinro asked Ina that positioned beside him.

Ina shook her head. "I'm not sure, but it seems that woman is familiar to our party leader." She replied, then back her gaze at the battle inside the tenth floor.

"Is that so..." Jinro smoothly kneaded his chin, then didn't mind the young man who had emerald green hair, as his mind, he hadn't cared if the adventurer was weaker than him...

"Asarki, I apologize, if we just arrived earlier there's is a chance we can still save your three party members." Since the usual members in every expedition were five, so Alison thought the three members of Asarki were slain by this monster.

Asarki raised her shoulder a bit as she was clueless about what Alison saying right now. "What did you mean? Slain?" Then suddenly she fully understands what Alison meant to her. "Ai! No, no, no, Ms. Alison. None of my members died in this expedition." She explained narrowly.

"Eh? Why do you mean by none? You and the man there, are the only adventurers in this place. Where are the 3 members?"

"No other 3 members, Ms. Alison. Just both of us just having this expedition." Asarki uncomfortably smiled at her.

All the party members of Alison flinched at the same time, as they were shocked at what their heard from Asarki.

In their minds, if this woman saying the truth it was impossible for them to reach the tenth floor even though the monsters here weren't abnormally buffed.

Jinro suddenly chuckled. "Hahaha! You're making me laugh!" He slapped the ice surface, then said. "It seems both of us are still dreaming, give the credits to your party members who died her."

"Stop it, Jinro! You even knew who's the adventurer talking you right now!" Alison glared at her that made him stopped. "Sorry, Asarki. That man has a problem with his attitude."

Asarki used her head to pat her head all over. "No, that's fine, Ms. Alison. I know that no one will believe me if I say this. But actually, this is a solo expedition because Grim Draigh does all the work alone, I'm just here to give some information that I know." Her face had uncomfortable smiles once again, as she felt embarrassed with herself since she couldn't able to help him in this situation.

Then suddenly everyone darted his eyes to the adventurer who had the screen name of Grim Draigh.

"Tell me, Asarki. You called him Grim Draigh right?" Alison asked her with a weak tone.

Asarki nodded a bit while her tears fell on her blanched cheek as the worried feeling vanished inside her chest. "Yes, it's Grim Draigh, why?"

Alison shook her head along with her silky white hair. "Not very important, but I heard his screen name casually. I didn't expect I can see him in this place."

"Oh, it seems Grim is popular in the high-level adventurer like you." Asarki made her promise as she won't speak any kind of information with her party member.

"Hmm... Kinda, but to be honest, I just want to see how this adventurer actually fights."

"Is that so? Okay, let's watch him." Asarki replied.

But on the other side, after Jinro hearing the screen name of Grim Draigh he would like to charge in the amid, but Kin stopped him. "What are you doing, Jinro? Leader Alison glaring at you, so I were you stop right now before she kick out you here."

Jinro gritted his teeth. "Fine!" Then stared at Ina for a couple of seconds. "Ina, cast a light magic skill there, so we can see him."

"No, I can't do that. My skill could affect his eyes." Ina refused his request.

"Tch! What a useless..."

A dark light suddenly occurred were the adventurers and the monster's location, and everyone slightly saw the appearance of Grim Draigh.

"Wait a minute, Grim Draigh is a monster?" Kin said as she couldn't let it escape it with her sharp eyes, yet there was one item of Grim that caught her attention. "Why he had the kariki knife?"
