The Adventurer System

Kin looked at the place where was the skirmishes happened, although she was astonished by the adventurer that transformed into a monster. Yet, there was an item in the adventurer's grasp that really caught her scrutiny.

"Why he had the kariki knife?" Kin said with a weak tone, then rubbed her blanched chin. "I'm wondering, how much this man sells that item for me?" She smirked and focused herself to fully witness Grim's battle.

"I don't think if Grim sells it for you..." Asarki replied to Kin since she was standing next to her, she heard what Kin said.

"Eh? Everyone has a price, he just needed to name it." Asarki said as she was optimistic Grim Draigh will never refuse her once she offers a high price.

Asarki chuckled as she knew how Grim responded to everyone around here. "Okay, if you're fully decided so let's give it a try." She replied, then moved her head closer to Kin. "But, I'm warning you. This man has a problem with his attitude, so expect some harsh words from him."

Kin and Alison frowned her brows as they were curious about Grim's identity. "Eh? He's really that kind of man?" Kin raised her voice.

Asarki nodded without any hesitation, then placed her right hand over her bust chest. "Even it's a short time, I can tell he's a harsh man. Also, he avoids making conversation with others, so I believe he won't talk to you."??

"Jeez! He's a problem." Kin said with persuasive eyes. 'I should get this knife no matter what.' She uttered to her mind.

The small conversation on the tenth floor quickly vanished as the tremendous explosion occurred, and released force that blew the hairs of six adventurers who were watching.

"What just happened?!" Jinro yelled after seeing the black fire blade swiftly slashing through the air.

Particles of ice surface were slowly falling to the ground, while behind it, an adventurer had a stolid expression on his face. More likely, Yumiro movements started to coordinate with his mind, and getting familiar to use the skill of the Kariki knife.

"Tch! It's not enough to settle this match." He clicked his tongue while seeing the white grasshopper was weaken by his attack since the magical attribute of his knife was the main weakness of ice.

"Ms. Alison?" Asarki asked the young woman that had long silky white hair, and a reddened face.

Alison stared at her. "What is it, Asarki?" She responded with a calm voice, seems like she already managed how to rid of this dungeon.

"Do you think Grim could win against the white grasshopper?" Asarki said, then glimpsed at her with wondering eyes.

"Hmm... Based on the information given to us, the monster here was abnormally buffed, which means all the monster starts on this floor had the same strength as the monster inside the mid-level dungeon that is suitable for level 35-50 adventurers. Alison explained.

All the party members of Alison stared at her as they were curious why their party leader was having a decent conversation with this new adventurer, which made them felt so strange since she rarely opened her mouth.

Although Alison explained the current situation at the dungeon castle, yet, Asarki still did not get the right answer, so she asked her once more.

"Is that so? It must be the reason why this monster suddenly had so much power. However, what did you think? Grim can actually win this fight?" Asarki said with a polite tone.

Then suddenly Jinro intervened with their conversation. "Don't get me wrong here, but based on his level this man hasn't any chance to win this fight no matter what he tries. Yet, this is the main reason why we are here, to save weak adventurers like you who are battling with the tough monster." After Jinro spits those he laughed consciously.??

"B-But... Why?"

"Because he's weak, I admitted that impressed that he could transform into a monster... But beside it, he had no something special." Jinro insulted Grim.

"Stop it, Jinro! Just watch the match and check if we need to intervene with his fight." Alison commanded him.

Jinro suddenly turned into a lovely dog as he knew his party leader will punish him.

"Don't worry, Asarki. We will take care of it." Alison said.

"Thank you..."

Moreover, Alison kept making conclusions inside her mind as she knew there was something wrong with this man's power.

"Hmm... An ordinary level 20 adventurer like him had the duration to remain with this fight in less than 5 minutes, but... this man could land high damage from the white grasshopper? This scene is unusual, how did he possibly overcome the situation? However, the main question here, how this man transformed into a monster? This is a sort of skill? Or just a rare item? Or might be his zexel?" Alison was literally interested in this adventurer power.

With the help of the Kariki knife, Yumiro reduced the monster's health power by 50%, which means he was the one who holds the favor of this battle.

"Tch! Why they're watching me? if they looking for the monster, go take the next floor." He clicked his tongue as felt uncomfortable if numerous adventurers keep eye on him. "Asarki, did you know them?" While stepping back with the monster ice blade, Yumiro asked her by using the party function.

"No, I just met them in this game. But, they are here to help us, you can withdraw right now." She replied in a worried tone.

"Eh? What should I do that? Also, I don't need anyone's help, so tell them to leave this place."

"I can't do that, Grim. Those adventurers are stronger than you thought, they are level 70+ adventurers."

Swish! Swish! Swish!

The white grasshopper ice blade was just cutting the air, it seemed its attack became stiff because it lost one ice blade, and also received damage from the black fire magic of the adventurer.

"Level 70+, huh... perhaps they are really tough."

Then before the party function called ended, Asarki said follow-up words to him. "If you wanted to continue this fight, then fine. But... please, win this fight and put a show because there's someone here who thinks that you're a lowly adventurer."

Yumiro had a grin on his face. "They can insult me whenever they want, but there's one thing I make sure, I'll put a show and finish this match, Asarki!" He raised his voice as he was optimistic in his next attack will be to settle this fight.

Then suddenly, Yumiro slid on the ice surface while his back releasing strong steam that came from his heated body. He went under the monster's body, and slash one of his legs so it couldn't charge again with a flashy momentum.

His red knife was permeated to the monster's leg and sent it directly to the mid-air while whirling around.

The monster HP flickered in his eyes, however, he didn't mind as the monster involuntarily lowered its body, eventually whacked it to the ground since it lost its balance.

Moreover, Asarki's worried as she thought Grim was tightened on the monster's enormous body. Yet, Yumiro appeared on the small gap inside, and swiftly climb at the monster back towards the monster's head.

Inside his mind, if he cut the monster body into two pieces his job here was already done.

The distance of the monster's head within his distance was around 22 meters, however, he just reached it in just the blink of an eye.

"What the heck is that? He so fast?!" Ina yelled as she secretly intended to use her magic staff to give him buffed skill so he could really stand out with this match, but she felt he didn't need it.

"Did you see it, leader Alison?" Kin asked as she discovered Grim speed wasn't suitable in the level he had right now.

"Yeah, I saw it..." Alison replied, then didn't take off her eyes at the scenery.

Jinro gritted his teeth while watching Grim Draigh's fight. "How... How... How he possibly win against this monster!"

As soon as Yumiro appeared over the monster's head, he raised his knife to the same level as his head.

Then suddenly, his knife releasing a tremendous black fire that gave him heat for everyone to could last in the freezing place. Yet, this skill seems stronger than the earlier as he felt there was something draining out of his body, which made him have vague visions.

He then leaped out of the monster's head to use gravity as a strength since his kariki knife had the sharpness to slice its body.

Yumiro aimed his knife at the center of the monster's head, then stabbed it so he could pull the knife downwards.

"Ahhhh!" He yelled even though some ice splashes on his face along with the violet blood of the monsters.

Swish! Thud!

When the moment he landed on the ground, a new item flickered in his eyes that positioned beside the monster grave.

"Fire and Ice?"
