The Adventurer System

In the not spacious room, Yumiro slowly opened his lifeless whiskey eyes. Then stretched his arms along with a yawned.

"That's really comfortable sleep, I feel my body is exhausted from my expedition." His smile was easily faded away as he remembered that he gave back his VR helmet to Amiya.

"Hehe, I forgot. I shouldn't think too much about the game, so my mind and body won't look for it." He mumbled, while seeing the clear blue skies, and hearing the chirping of the birds outside of his window.

He felt relaxed, so he reclined his back on his bed once more. Just readying himself for the new day come in his real life.

"It's Saturday today, which means Amiya is here." Yumiro cheerfully said, then hop in his wheelchair. "It's time to pay attention to my body."

He placed his hands on each wheel and pushed it with all his strength. In his mind, this was also the best way to exercise his body.

Yumiro slowly opened the door, then pushed back his wheelchair and pushed straight forward again. So to the metal door couldn't block his path.

"Amiya!" Yumiro called his sister while looking upstairs. As he thought, Amiya will approach there.

"Brother Grim, I'm here." Amiya responded with a pleasant tone.

Yumiro narrowly lifted his brows, as he heard Amiya's came from a different place. Or to be exact, Amiya was already inside the kitchen and preparing their food.

As soon as he arrived at the kitchen, he sniffed and smell the pancake. So he smiles as it was his favorite breakfast especially if it had chocolate syrup.

"Good morning, brother Yumiro." Amiya approached him.

"Good morning, Amiya. It seemed you prepared my favorite pancake, huh." Yumiro responded.

"Yes, brother Yumiro. I know you have missed this food since the past few weeks had passed you haven't tasted it."

"Of course, I'm always hoping for this."

"Which one do you want, the chocolate syrup or strawberry syrup?" Amiya asked him with a grin on his face.

"Chocolate..." Yumiro replied with eager eyes to take a bite.

"Brother Yumiro, why are you waiting for? Come over here. We are about to eat." She invited him by swaying her hand to Yumiro usual position.

"Oh, I'm sorry..."

Asarki perfectly arranged her brother's position in front of the table. She then sat in opposite direction, so they could face each other.

Both of them were started to eat their breakfast, however, it was unusual for Amiya. Since her brother always initiating a conversation with her and didn't let himself finish his food without saying anything. 

"Uh-eh, brother Yumiro..." Amiya stuttered.

"What is it, Amiya?" He replied while merrily chewing his food.

"I just want to apologize for what I said last night, I know I went too far, I'm sorry." She said with blubbering eyes.

"You don't need to apologize, supposedly I'm the one who needs it to. Because even though I know my condition, I'm still doing something that could affect my body. I'm sorry." Yumiro said with a grin on his face. "Don't worry about me, I'm good without this game."

"Brother Yumiro, that's not what I'm trying to say. I just want you to teach some lessons, so next time you're going to take care of yourself. That you aren't playing the VR game the rest of your life." She explained with a pleasant tone, so her brother wouldn't misinterpret her words.

Yumiro just smiles at her. "I know, Amiya. B-But I don't want added more trouble, so it's much better if I be like this."

"Brother Grim..." Her voice weakened as she didn't expect Yumiro to act like this. "I'm so sorry."

"Oh, come on, Amiya. I didn't mad at you, I just realised this is the right thing to do." Yumiro swallowed the pancake without chewing it. "If were you, you should it because I'll eat it all."

"Yes." Amiya replied in a low voice.

[7:35 Am]

30 minutes had passed, both of them finished their food. Then, the place was enveloped by deafening silence, as Yumiro think the same idea 3 years ago. While Amiya looking how she made up with her brother.

"Amiya, I want to say something."

"Brother Yumiro, I want to say something."

They said at once, then now pointing their finger to each other as they letting one another say its words.

"Go, brother Yumiro. You first, what would like to say?" Amiya said.

Yumiro took a deep breath, then placed his hands on the table. "Amiya, I'm thinking this last night. Let's continue my plan, bring me to any health rehabilitation center."

Bam!

Amiya smacked the wooden table, which made Yumiro flinched. "What did you say? We are just having a small argument, then you already trying to leave me? No!" Amiya angrily replied, and couldn't help her tears welled in her eyes.

"No, this is not about that you scolded me last night, it's about yourself." Yumiro pushed his wheelchair closer to her, then patted his head. "If you bring me there, someone who will take care of me. And also, it will lessen your job here, and didn't pressure that someone waiting for you.

"B-Brother Yumiro, why are you saying that? I'm happy that I'm the one who taking care of you."

"I just got realised, that you will never be happy when if I continuing to stick with you. I'm already in despair, there's no other way to escape unless I died."

Bam!

His eyelids were widened when Amiya hardly slapped him, and his face changed its direction to the place where Amiya's hand went.

"Stop it, brother Grim! I would never want to hear it from you, never!" She yelled while seeing her brother were backing with his senses. "I'll never complain without our current situation. To be honest, I'm glad that I have a brother like you, so please, don't say it anym..."

Amiya couldn't complete her words, As Yumiro tightly embraced her. "Sorry, Amiya. I thought you will be happy if I disappeared from your eyes. I'm really sorry." Yumiro begged.

"You're my beloved brother, I'll never wish for that. So calm down, isn't good for your health. And also, sorry for slapping you."

"Yes!"

10 minutes had passed, when the siblings recovered from their dramatic scene.

"Brother Yumiro, are you okay now? Or you want me to get your nebulizer?" Amiya asked while gently patting his back.

"No, I'm good, Amiya." Yumiro replied, then suddenly remembered want to tell something. "Amiya, I almost forgot. Why are you trying to say earlier?"

"Ah... I'll just want you to play the VR game. Why?"

"Really?!" Yumiro moved closer his head as he was excited about what he heard.

"Yes, that's my plan in this early morning."

"B-But that's okay? I don't want you to get mad at me." Yumiro said with a weak tone.

"As long as I'm with you, I can remind you. So are you coming or not?" Amiya took the two black VR helmets from the drawer.

"Of course, I'm coming. I'll look forward this day to come, but..." Yumiro stopped his words.

"But what?" Amiya replied.

"But, where we will meet? I'm still not familiar with this place." he asked.

"That's not a problem, can we meet in the log-in area." Amiya suggested with a smile.

"Eh, I can't go there." He rubbed his chin, as he trying to recall what was called the place where he left his character. But, he couldn't remember.

"You can't? Why? Don't you tell me you commit a crime there, huh?!" She raised her voice also warning her brother.

"Of cour... No, I'm not. It's a long story, I'll tell you once we are there."

"Hmp! Then, where you would like to meet?" Amiya asked.

"Do you know the inn where is the woman cat working?"

Amiya hummed as she seems had an idea of what her brother talking about. "Yeah, I think so... her name is Chirla, isn't it? And her owner is Orlan?"

Yumiro frowned his brows as he didn't know who was Orlan? "Yes, her name is Chirla, but I don't have any idea with the second name you mention."

"Okay, okay, let's meet there. You don't need to think too much."

Both of them wore the VR helmet, and when the moment Amiya will click the green button she remembered something important.

"Before I forgot, what is your screen name? So I can easily find you."

"Oh, right. My screen name is Grim Draigh!"

"Huh?!"
