The Adventurer System
Chapter 140 - How Much Can You Sell Her?!
Verden let Bugane escape from their base, for him to warn his guild members especially his guild Captain.
"Leave our base at once. Because if you won't, I'll come with you and destroy your base in an instant." Verden said while looking at the huge hole over him.
Although Bugane had the strength and the mana to fight back. Yet, he chose to surrender knowing he had no match with those adventurers. Even no matter how much he tried.
"Yes, we will leave this place." Bugane responded with a shivered tone.
Then he bowed his head a little bit, so Verden and Amiya couldn't see his face.
'Yeah, that's right for you, Nakil. You keep making reckless plans without knowing the true powers of your opponent.' Bugane uttered to his mind while hiding his malicious smile on his face.
"You're going to leave or not?" Amiya asked him, then stood up out of the metal chair.
"How I supposedly do that? I can't move as you cast a binding skill." Bugane replied.
He tried to resist in the gleaming thick thread, however, his strength wasn't enough to nullify her binding skill.
Amiya was confident with her [Scatter shot] skill. Since it could hand high damage and preventable their movements in a certain place.
Amiya knitted her forehead, then canceled out her skill. "Now, leave this place and bring your members. I don't want to see your faces again here."
Amiya stretched again the string of her bow, to show how she was serious with her words.
Bugane uncontrollably shook his head along with trembled arms. "Yes, we promise!"
As soon as Bugane spit those words, he used his dark spatial magic to teleport to the place where his other members were located.
"He's gone..." Verden deeply sighed as he didn't expect he was able to defend the Radiance base. However, the downside of it, he almost destroyed their base.
"I already said it to you, so don't wonder why I choose you. But, your main problem you need to fix this." Amiya pointed his index finger to the huge holes and cracks on the wall created by Verden's attack.
"Yeah, Aoiri. I'm going to fix it, give me some time." Verden suddenly sat on the marble surface.
Amiya walked towards the broken window, thinking she couldn't leave their base at the moment. Just to avoid the upcoming dilemma that might trigger once she lowers her guard.
"Aoiri, you said you went to the Draven sea. Can I come with you after I fix our base?" Verden asked with a pleasant tone.
She shook her head. "No, they aren't there for sure."
"They? I thought you're the only one who went to the sea?"
"No, I have been with my brother." Amiya said without looking back.
"Oh, I'm so sorry about what I said earlier. I didn't mean it." Verden along with a sigh.
"Forget it, but don't you dare to say it once more. I didn't know what I can do if you will."
Verden hurriedly nodded. "Yes, I promise. I wouldn't say it again."
Amiya lifted her head a bit, then took a glance at the blue skies surrounded her. "Brother Yumiro, I hope you can complete your quest."
...
But on the other hand, Yuki, Asarki, Chirla, and Yumiro touched their feet on the surface. Seemingly the teleportation crystal would teleport you back to the place where they used the crystal.
Swish! Swish!
However, in front of them, a man had long blond hair, wearing a cowboy hat. Or to be exact, all his attire was the same as the cowboy. His boots, belts, and even the stripe long sleeves were the same.
Moreover, it seemed this man awaited him for a couple of hours. And the crunchy sound they heard, came from his brown whip. As he held each endpoint of the whip, then tugged it at the same time.
Swish! Swish!
"M-Mr. Orlan?" Chirla said with a terrified tone.
By her words, Yumiro could tell this guy was Chirla's owner.
"Did you bring my slave with you?" Orlan asked with a calm tone.
Yumiro nodded without making any second thought. "Yes... Why?"
In this case, Asarki couldn't help to intervene with their conversation. As she knew if Grim continues like this, there was a chance Chirla's owner would be feel disrespected.
"Yes, Mr. Orlan. We just went to the Draven sea, to feel some fresh air." Asarki said with a pleasing tone.
"Did I allow you?" Orlan said, then tugged Chirla's right arm. "Come over here, I'll teach you a good lesson. So you will not disobey my rules."
However, Yumiro spread his right arm. To stop Chirla from coming closer with him.
"What's wrong with you? This is my Slave, I can do whatever I want." Because of this situation, Orlan becomes aggressive as he forcefully grabbed Chirla's arm.
You could see in Chirla's face, his clasped brought pain.
Bam! Swoosh!
Yumiro slapped his hand, then a strong wind blew their clothes back, and all the lightweight objects inside the wooden room.
Asarki and Yuki were stunned, as Grim just mildly swayed his hand. So why did the place become like this?
Orlan hand has a red mark, so enough reason for him to glare at the young man in front of him.
"What's your problem?! Are you picking a fight?" Orlan angrily yelled and drew his fighting stance.
So Chirla stepped in front of Grim, to take the damage that Grim could receive. "No, Grim. We can't do it, I should come with Mr. Orlan." She decided.
After her words, she sauntered closer to him. "It's good you understand your situation, you're just my slave." He then turned into Grim. "Kid, you should stay away with it. This is none of your business." Orlan warned him, as they attempted to leave their room.
Asarki looking at Grim, and seeing he was still calm which made her pause for a moment. 'Grim? If you let this, you can miss the chance to save Chirla.' Asarki uttered.
Yumiro whirled around, then ambled to the wooden desk.
"Brother Grim... Sister Chirla will be miserable..." Yuki said with blubbering eyes since she was the only one who witnessed how Orlan punishing her.
Suddenly, the vase shattered in front of Orlan, as Yumiro fetched the based directly to him.
"Grim what are you doing? Cooldown your head even a bit." Asarki suggested with a high tone.
"Tell me, how much you can sell Chirla from me? Tell me!"
"Leave our base at once. Because if you won't, I'll come with you and destroy your base in an instant." Verden said while looking at the huge hole over him.
