The Adventurer System

Chapter 155 - [Sword Mastery]

4 Britannica monsters aggressively standing by in front of him. Groaning and rampaging, which made the place shook a bit.

Ehhk!

'At this point, I had no clue about those monsters. This is because I turned level 20 and the information provided given by the system is limited?'

He raised his bare hands, knowing his rusty gauntlet was destroyed after his fight to Orlan.

[Dash!]

The exact distance of monsters was around 15 meters. However, his main plan was to observe those monsters how they will react in his swift movements.

Swish!

In just a second, Yumiro appeared in front of the Britannica monster. Then suddenly, a violet magic circle appeared and widely opened its mouth.

Boom!

It planned to swallow the adventurer, but Yumiro successfully dodged that attack. Since the monster movements weren't that fast.

'Observe and predicts its movements, this is the key to win this fight.'

Parts of the surface scattered around him with rapid speed.

Swish!

He took a glance at his baçk, as he detected the monsters positioned there suddenly made their moves.

It was like sliding on the surface and reaching the 15 meters margin in just 3.2 seconds. It was quite fast enough to enable Yumiro to alarm in his current position.

Boom!

[Dash]

The monster attack was the same, nevertheless, he used his elevated speed to immediately went to the monster's back.

[X kick!]

He swayed his left leg on each side, then aimed the monster's head.

Thud! Thud!

"This monster is weak, they just released a terrifying aura." He mumbled, then planned to annihilate this monster.

While elevating in the mid-air, Yumiro shifted his position along with the gleaming red light in his legs.

[Physical transmission]

He was spinning with an excessive speed, then used his Sipad boots to delete the monster's existence.

Swoosh! Splash!

His power and the sharpness gave by the boots were enough to separate the monster's large body into two pieces.

Violet blood splashing all over him and had a rotten sensation.

"It's stink, tch!"

[You've received 75 experienced from killing the Britannica monster!]

He knitted his forehead, as he discovered those monsters weren't sufficient for him to gain one more level.

"Nice job, Grim! I need 7 more minutes, after this, I'll help you." A woman with a honeyed tone yelled. It was Asarki that leaning on Chirla.

"Adventurer Grim! I look weak but I can help you to fight." Chirla suggested, but she stopped in an instant.

"Shhh... Just rest for a while, Chirla. It's much early, so conserves your energy because we need it later on."

In this expedition, Yumiro was the one who had high fatigue since his level right now was the same as level 40 adventurers. Yet, he should use it carefully as they were still clueless about what was kind of strength the monsters have here.

3 monsters were remaining, then they attack at once. More likely, they wanted to look down the adventurer in one position, for it had limited movements.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

"Did you think I'll fall for that?"

He easily figured out was the plan, however, he also dashed closer to them. "Inventory!"

Yumiro took the Grete swords. "Their bodies aren't tough, this is enough to slice them into pieces."

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

As soon as his blade touching their bodies, it easily penetrated even some blood spilled out on his face.

[You've received 225 exp from killing the 3 Britannica monsters!]

"This is disgusting!" Yumiro wiped the blood, eventually ambled closer to them.

...

Yuki pushed herself into a stood-up position, as she merrily seeing her brother was dominated against the monsters.

"Brother Grim! You're so great and strong!" Yuki attempted to run at Grim. However, Asarki stopped her pace.

"Hey, Yuki! Don't move yet, some of the traps are still there. It's better to stay in your position." She politely warned her.

"Sorry, sister Asarki. I'm just happy." She bowed her head.

As soon as he reached the place, Yumiro patted Yuki's head. "Are you okay now?"

The blood on her head vanished, nevertheless, there was a red mark left. Seemingly the HP potions cured the wounds, yet it was enough to remove the scars.

"I'm good now, brother Grim." She uncomfortable chuckled. "But, I feel dizzy." Her legs weakened, so she involuntarily kneeled to the surface.

"Hey, Yuki! Tch." He immediately assisted her while minding the screen that appeared right before his eyes.

"Let's rest here for a while! I need to finish something." Yumiro took the Grete sword.

"Grim, where are you going? I can't protect them." Asarki said in a high tone. She was bothered as Grim would like to get his revenge.

"Here, I just need to finish my quest to claim extra attributes."

Yumiro knew if he continued to use his Grete sword, he should master it so his hands would be familiar with his attack and minimize the flaws.

He stood up while his right foot stepped backward, and his arm was straight forward along with the sword.

"Chirla and Asarki, watch the surroundings and tell me if you noticed the monster's existence."

"Yes!" Both of them nodded at once.

As soon as all the things were settled, Yumiro started to wield his sword. Using enough strength and stabilize his formation was his plan.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

In 20 minutes doing this, his sweat rolling down on his face. The Grete sword was a light weapon, nevertheless, by continuously swinging it his left and right were started to felt numb.

Ding!

After 25 minutes, a bell rang inside his head followed up with the system notification.

"Sheesh! It's harder than I thought because the system giving me a rounded red target to hit."

Or to be exact, he wasn't just randomly swinging his swords it had accumulated target used to have an idea how he supposedly wielded it.

Asarki finally recovered her footing, but she was wondered why Grim doing the quest for a swordsman class.

In her mind, Grim class was a swordsman and using the brawler class for a fluke.

'Grim has just a talent in martial arts, now I understand why he always has sword and knife to use it.' She cleared her mind that Grim has had a different class.

She didn't intend to ask him. "It seems you're finished with your quest, Grim." She snickered.

'Where that smirks for? Perhaps, her head whacked to the ground and lost her senses.' Yumiro nodded a bit. "Yeah, what we are going right now?"

[Zexel on!]

Asarki activated her passive skill, to find a good spot where the best place to continue their expedition. Seemingly, she was just locating the magic aura in the place.

'I shouldn't fail this one, I need to make up for all the mistakes I made.' She was determined, so carefully observing all magic aura from the tunnel.

In each tunnel had different colors, and each time the color was dark the difficulty in that place was supposedly higher.

"There! Let's take that path!" She pointed her index finger to the tunnel that had 70 meters distance away from them.

He turned left while kneading his chin. "Are you sure about this?"

"Of course, this time I won't fail, I promise!" She directly replied as she was assured of her decision.

"If you say so, okay then. But first thing first, do your job seize the monsters' core and take their loot if they had." Yumiro smirked since the monsters had a rotten smell.

"Yes! I will all do this job!" Asarki followed his order without complaint.

'I guess she's quite a good party member.'

5 minutes had passed, Asarki came back with the 3 monsters' core and one green stone in her hands.

"This is all the loot I get, one Tiber stone used as a resource when upgrading weapons. Here." She bestowed all the loots to him.

He slowly shook his head, then turned in their path. "Hold it for a while and separate it 50:50 when we get out of here. Let's go!"
