The Adventurer System

Hippie glimpsed at her behind, then seeing one more Trivial soldier would stab her back. Based on the speed and the distance between them, she knew it was impossible for her to dodge it.

"Oh, crap! It will hit me." Hippie said inwardly.

The main problem here, she couldn't advance in front of her since the monsters already locked down her position.

The spear of the Trivial soldier flew through the mid-air along with the swift sound as the blade slashed it.

"Grim..." Hippie was astonished after witnessing Yumiro left the 6 monsters there just to support her. "Thank you, Grim. I was shocked because that monster came out from nowhere."

He clicked his tongue, then swung his left foot while gathering his strength into it.

Bam!

The Trivial soldiers were sent far away and rolled many times to the ground. However, it was still the same as the monster's HP didn't decrease even a single digit.

"Jeez, so it's true. How we supposedly annihilate those monsters?" At this juncture, Yumiro was savvy that the Trivial soldiers would just drain their HP and fatigue. "Hippie, let those soldiers. Let's eliminate those Gobogren." He ordered her.

Clang!

After she blocked the monster's spear in front of her. She nodded, then followed Grim on her destination.

"Yes, Grim. I admitted I have no idea how we could land damage with those monsters." She said in a low voice.

"Yeah, even me. Let's figure out later we should focus on those."

Both of them were stopped at the Gobogren monsters. Then Yumiro pointing his index finger at the monsters.

"Once we finish here, let's find an answer." Yumiro suddenly flinched after seeing there was suspicious dark light at the right corner of the vast platform. 'What is that?' He wondered, then darted back his eyes on the monster swung its right arm.

Boom!

The motte surface shattered around them and a strong force pushed them back.

"Oh-Oh, their physical power obviously improved. However, I don't think it could kill me. Inventory."

Yumiro pulled out the Kariki knife as he wanted to fight while using a weapon. He would like to utilize it since it could strengthen his fighting style.

Or to be more simple, he was holding the Brawler mastery and swordsman mastery. Since once he upgrades those abilities, his damage possibly increased.

"Why are you stuck there, huh? Starts to move! The Trivial soldiers would come after us." He warned her.

Her body pumped. 'Grim, what are you thinking?' She uttered to her mind as she wondered how it was possibly a brawler class could utilize the sword either a knife.

"Sorry, Grim. You're such an amazing adventurer. I could believe that I can you see here." She complimented him with glistening eyes.

"I don't need your compliment, just focus." He said while pointing his knife at the monsters.

5 monsters standing in front of him, and the last one intercepted Hippie in her position. It was the monster who was wielding a dangerous gauntlet.

"Eh? Why those monsters just got attracted to Grim! They are thinking I'm not capable of their strength? This is really annoying."

She frowned her brows, then swiftly switching the position of her knife to the left and right. Which made the monster for suddenly following it.

Seemingly Hippie had a high dexterity as she could handle her weapon without showing any difficulties.

"You're easy to fool, but you got me annoyed. So you should pay for it."

Yumiro took a glance at her after hearing Hippie cast her passive skill. "She already used her passive skill? She had some guts, huh. I'm curious about it, but I can't stare at you for too long." He mumbled, then gathered his strength all over his body.

Yumiro switched his position in the middle of the monsters. To avoid his body from the Trivial monster's weapons.

All the monsters attack at once and a strong explosion occurred.

His entire body was enveloped by thick brown smoke. But all of a sudden, all the monsters pushed back with a cut on their arms which made them groaned.

Rawr!

Their irritating groaned surrounded the platform while their sticky and stinky blood was dripping.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I slipped my hands." A weak voice transpired inside the brown smoke and after a few seconds it passed off.

A young man with long silver-white hair had a snickered on his face.

Swish!

Splash!

He swung his left hand to remove all the green bloodstains on his knife.

A red gleaming light transferring on his left arms, then dashed directly to the monster who got separated. Or to be exact, he was aiming at the Gobogren who was using a low-grade spear. Since that type of weapon brought a treat to him.

Swish!

Gobogren fully swung its arm, as it planned to slice the adventurer's head in just one blow.

Bam!

Yumiro smoothly sidestepped without hearing any type of sound on his move. "That's literally strong, but that is the last swing you could make. Goodbye!"

His hair strongly stroking back while attaining a closer distance from the monster. And as soon as he met the right distance he wanted, he immediately swung his left hand, then used his right leg to jump into the mid-air.

Swish!

Rawr!

Gobogren growled once more as its right arm was whirling in the air.

Moreover, he seemed didn't finish with his attack. Since his body was rapidly spinning as he was gathering his momentum. He threw his knife above him.

[Dual spinning kick!]

Each of his kicks shivered the monster's which made its glaring eyes turned into a white one.

Bam!

When the moment he landed on the surface, he raised his left and caught the knife that was slowly dropping.

Boom!

One Gobogren sent far away and created an explosion.

"Phew! 4 more to go--" He stopped when seeing Hippie already finished with her opponent without taking any single scratch. "Oh, I think it's just 3 Gobogren."

At this point, Yumiro wondered how much experience Hippie received.

"Grim, let me help you with them." Hippie suggested with a honeyed tone.

He raised his hand, then opened it. "No, I can handle this. Just stop those Trivial soldiers in the meantime. Do you think you can handle it until I finish with Gobogrens?" Yumiro asked in a low voice.

Hippie looking at him with full determination. "Yes, I can intercept them for a while. Yet, I didn't guarantee if I can slay one of them." She calmly responded.

"That's what I planned. I need someone who could hold them since we had no idea how we can defeat them." He explained, then started to move again.

"Yes, leave it to me! I'll do all the things to stop them." Hippie said, then also charged directly to the Trivial soldiers.

The main question here was why those monsters didn't attack them while they were busy with the Gobogrens.

Or to be exact, the monsters couldn't exceed 55 meters distance in their current location. "Quickly finish them, Grim." Hippie said while blocking all the monster's stabs.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The sound of metal screeching to each other was perceived by her ears. Even Hippie was slowly pushing back every time the monster attacks her, still, she wanted to continue the job that Grim assigned to him.

"I shouldn't let him down. I must complete my job here no matter what it takes. There's no room for all my mistakes." She mumbled and slightly fell numb on her right arm. As it was the part of her body that always received the damage.

On the other hand, Yumiro was attempted to eat the Kobold's core to finish those monsters in an instant. However, he wouldn't like to use it if there was an adventurer near to him.

"I'm just lucky that no one could see on how I eat the Hiller knight's core. Because it's probably would have a big problem for me. The [Core devourer] skill is stronger than what I expected."

He was talking about the scene that happened when the time he was fighting Orlan at the Draven sea.

"I'm consuming too much time here, I need to stop my head from thinking and help Hippie out there." He mumbled, then kicked the monster's abdomen.

With all his strength, the monsters hardly pushed back and rolled many times to the ground. However, Yumiro followed the monster as it was guard was obviously opened.

He leaped over the monster and dragged it down until its back whacked on the surface. "I don't know why I'm so pissed right now. It seemed you're the best one to take by it."

Yumiro stabbed the monster's neck and his knife punctured inside of it. After a few were moments, a strong leaking out of blood splashed into it.

Yumiro sliced the Gobogren's head in an instant and stabbed its chest to loosen its clasped on Yumiro's body.
