The Adventurer System

Karmlito easily understood what Grim wanted in his shop. Yet, he was worried since the mask Grim needed was expensive.

"Grim, I've here a mask." Karmlito paused for a second, knowing Grim could destroy his shop as he will. "Adventurer Grim, it's not I that I look down on you. I respected as an adventurer, but the mask you wanted is an expensive one."

Yumiro blinking his eyes in confusion. At the same time, he felt relieved as the pain was slowly fading away.

"I don't need the expensive one. I just want an ordinary mask that could hide my face." He replied in a low voice.

Karmlito slowly shook his head and closed his eyes at once. "No, Grim. Your idea isn't possible since the mask that I have here is special."

"You see it? This is the concealment stone. It can hide your magical aura that releasing by your body. Or easy to say, the high-level adventurers usually use it, so the monsters couldn't sense them." Karmlito explained along with the thoughts this adventurer couldn't but this mask.

The concealment stone could be placed in all adventurer's items like a ring, armor, sword, mask, etc. They used it to hide the magical power inside your body.

"Concealment stone, huh?! How much is that item?" Yumiro asked him once again.

Karmlito barely raised his shoulder and said. "Hmm... More or less 50,000 gold coins. If you going to avail of it, I'll give you the robe for free. Since you're a regular customer."

The man quickly nodded and said. "Yes! That's my name. Why did you ask, adventurer Grim?"

Yumiro gently rubbed his chin, as he remembered the one item he recently got. It was an item that had no description, so he didn't know how he will do with it.

"Can I ask you one question?" Yumiro said with a weak tone. 'Amiya's facial changed when she heard that item. Since I was here, It's better to have some details with it.'

"Of course, Adventurer Grim. I'll be happy if could help a man like you. Just ask me, and I'll tell you the information that I know." Karmlito cheerfully replied.

"Okay. Inventory!" Yumiro took an earing out of the blue rounded portal beside him. It looked like a small transparent vessel covered by a violet small lining. "It's a dark soul earing. Do you have any idea about this item?"

And all of a sudden, Karmlito seemed will fall to the wooden ground. After seeing the item in Grim's arm.

He never thought he could see that kind of item in a lowly place like this. He looked terrified and worried for no good reason. Yet, he needed to answer his question.

"G-Grim, w-where did you get that item?" Karmlito stammered but based on his words. He has information about what was precisely that earing.

"This is the drop item we received after killing the dark elf. Why? There's a problem with this item?"

Before Karmlito answered his question. He put on the goggles that were positioned on his forehead earlier.

"Grim, you're lucky to have that item. It could widely enlarge your strength and at the same time, had an opportunity to regulate a black power." He said with a small tone, knowing if he tell about this some of the adventurers would rush here.

"Can you tell it specifically? Because I didn't understand what are you trying to say." He paused for a second and added. "Do you know what is this? Or you didn't have?"

"I have, adventurer Grim. That earing is a vessel for the monster's soul." Karmlito sharply exhaled. "It's a very rare item, where everyone sacrifices their lives just to get it."

"Soul? Vessel?"

"Those two are right, that earing has the ability to take the monster's soul. That will be converted to become your strength, and also, to manipulate your collected soul." He explained. He was looking at the brown pouch on his wooden desk. "This is a big income. I'll close this shop in the meantime so I could watch the guild selection. As I found an interesting fight will happen there."

More minutes had passed, Grim arrived at the event and easily saw the location of Asarki and Hippie.

However, it caught the other adventurers' attention as he was the only adventurer there who was wearing a mask.
