The Adventurer System

To greet Cyrus's opponents, he ordered Janel to release a massive explosion that'll shock them.

Boom!

"Nice shot, Janel! But for now, switch your position." Cyrus said while the grimoire on his hand was slowly elevating. 

Janel nodded as she agreed with him. "Yes, leader Cyrus. But, I need 2 or 3 more minutes before I could use the same skill again." She reminded him.

"Yeah, I knew it. Just hide for now, and wait for our next move." Cyrus said.

Before Janel leave the high ground, a man next to him strongly tugged the bowstrings. It was Gorio that ready to release his archer's skill directly at the place where it was encircled by the thick dust.

[Raining arrows!]

He pointed his bow at the sky where was the yellow bright sun strongly shining the whole place. At the same time, the orange magic circle occurred in front of his bow.

Swish!

As soon as he released the skill, Janel and Gorio jumped to the surface. To switch their positioning in the meantime. 

In the range class like them, it's way more better if they switch their position after firing an attack. So their opponents would be clueless and also to wouldn't be an easy target for the rogue class.

Afterwards, numerous arrows were rapidly falling from above. On top of that, none of Wex's members revealing their existence. That gave thoughts to Cyrus's group that the long-range attacks of Janel and Gorio completely locked down their opponents.

"Floryn, it's time." Cyrus was looking at the woman behind him. As he wanted this woman to give him a buff that'll help him to increase his magical power.

She nodded her head at him. "As you wish, leader Cyrus." Floryn paused for a second, she then stood up straight while her magic staff pointing at the sky.

"Guardian of the heavenly realm, please grant my wishes!" After Floryn spit the incantation spell a white magic circle appeared over her magic staff.

[Magic buff!]

Then suddenly, a blue magical light hit Cyrus's body. "It's done, leader Cyrus. The next attack is all yours!" She cheerfully said as she was glad that she could cast a magical buff in a short time.

Cyrus successfully received the buff. Then now, he felt the magical power inside his body was rapidly increasing. It feels like a mild heat overwhelming all over his body.

"Thanks, Floryn. Leave the next attack to me." Cyrus replied while seeing his grimoire automatically turning its page.

Cyrus widely spread his arms to both sides, he then closed his calm eyes. As he was imagining the skill he wanted to regulate. 

Moreover, based on the skill appearing inside his head. It seemed, Cyrus wouldn't like to give their opponents any opening to counter-attack.

After a few were moments, Cyrus quickly opened his eyes. And a red magic circle transpired in the place where Wex's party standing.

Not to mention, the red magic circle had a size of 15 meters radius. It was big enough to cover all their opponents.

[Ballastic meteorite!]

Then suddenly, all the audiences in the vast stadium were literally shocked. After seeing a huge meteorite that slowly dropping off in the desert place.

Aside from that, no one could expect that there's a participant who could manage this kind of magic skill.

"Look at the magic skill? If that meteor hit Wex's group Cyrus probably will claim the victory."

"Cyrus's party is untouchable. As their opponents can't have a single chance to fight back!"

"Cyrus owning it! As I expected from him, I know he was possessed of high magical power!"

Those were sides comments of the audience who excitedly watching the fight. Nevertheless, the guild leader had a different explanation on why Cirus managed to release a magic skill like this.

Sondy his bare hand to slowly rubbed his chin. "Hmm... That man is impressive, he has a high magical power that could outstand the other. He's a true man. Ye-haa!!"

As expected to this guild leader, he just noticed the adventurer who was putting on a show. So, Primor tried to explain who was the real deal adventurer out there.

"Hais... Sondy. You didn't change, you're still the same." Primor sharply exhaled, then added. "It's given Cyrus had a high magical power since he belonged to the arcane class. But, you should notice the woman who gave him a magical buff. That cleric is quite skillful, yet, I can't change the fact that Cirus is an outstanding adventurer."

All the guild leaders were narrowly looking at Primor. As this was the first time they saw him opened his mouth for no good reason. Since Guild leaders already knew Floryn was the main reason for it.

"Why?"

Wex's party was still surrounded by the thick dust. Which gave a hard time for Cyrus to know what was going on inside there.

"Sorry to rid all of you at the very beginning. But, our group needs to step up and become the champion in this Guild selection." Cyrus said and whirled around. As he knew no one could survive with that kind of magic skill.

Boom!

A strong explosion transpired and it dazzled all the adventurers that were watching the one-sided fight.

Cyrus barely bowed his head at his party members. "Sorry to take all the job. I just want to finish this fight as soon as possible." He said in a polite tone.

"Don't worry about it, leader Cyrus. You did a great job, also, we won because of your surprising strategy." Floryn calmly responded.

Bam!

Then suddenly 3 adventurers that were in the amid fell to the ground. As the ground was heavily shook.

"Oi! Oi! Oi! That's what I said! This is a natural calamity earthquake!" Gino exclaimed to everyone.

On top of that, the main question here is why the orange portal didn't appear if Cyrus's party perfectly win the match-up?

And 5 minutes had passed, Cyrus's party stabilized their footing. At the same time, they knew there was someone who remained in Wex's group.

Swoosh!

In an instant, an adventurer was hurriedly charging at Cyrus. Based on the amount of speed he was showing that adventurer belonged to the rogue class.

Swish!

In a just blink of an eye, Wex utilized his green knife. He then swung it directly at Cryu's neck. And even though, there was a tank adventurer in the area, Bruce didn't manage to respond in that swift attack.

Red blood splashes on Wex's face while seeing Floryn behind Cyrus was trying to use healing magic. However, the sound of guns was perceived by their ears and made them stop.

Bang!

From afar, 4 adventurers were standing inside the golden barrier. In the front line was Apollo that using his shield to cast the [Guardian's barrier] Skill. Back of him was Sypharia that cast a buff skill who would help to enhance their side.

Or to be exact, because of Apollo and Sypharia they managed to absorb the outstanding magical power given by Cyrus. Beside them, was Kyro utilizing his sniper to stop Floryn from casting her healing skill.

"Hmm... That's too close. I thought that was the end of us." Kyro said while aiming his sniper directly at the cleric. Since eliminating the cleric would give them a big advantage.

[Expo shot!]

A brown magic circle appeared at the tip of his sniper, and eventually, released a magical bullet that no one could intercept.

Bang!

The magic bullet directly hit on Floryn's forehead and the bullet penetrated on the back of her head along with blood.

Thud!

She fell to the ground without her consciousness. As her health power dropped to zero percent.

"Floryn!" Bruce yelled as one of their members was eliminated. Also, he dashed at Cyrus's location as he took severe damage to his vital points. However, Bruce's responding time was too late as Wex already swung his knife and cut again Cyrus' neck.

[Feather feet!]

Sypharia cast agility enhancing skill at Apollo. So Apollo quickly dashed at Bruce, then regulated his shield to bump him.

Thud!

Bruce couldn't stand with the heavy body of Apollo. Aside from that, Apollo gathered momentum from that distance, which means even Bruce had a tough body. He was still had no chance to stop him.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Bruce hardly rolling to the desert and stopped as his back hit the cactus. Luckily, the spiky didn't pierce him because of his armor. However, Wex was too aggressive as he already appeared directly to Bruce's face.

Swish!

"No, no, no, go away!" Bruce was terrified, so he used his masculine arms to cover his face. At the same time, gave an opportunity to Wex to stab his heart.

Sweep!

Wex licked his green knife that bathed from the adventurers' blood. 3 adventurers were brutally eliminated and two remaining in the dusty high ground.

Wex was aggressively looking at Gorio and Janel. "You're next--"

And all of a sudden, the big blue screen appeared in the fighting place.

[Wex's party win the match! Please get back in the stadium!]

After the screen popped out, the orange portal occurred. It seemed before Wex attack the remaining adventurers. Gorio and Janel decided to surrender.

"Oi, Wex! Cool your head if you won't like to be disqualified in this game." Kyro grinned, the entered the portal.

On the other side, a man wearing a mask was startled at the brutal scene. "Is this the Valor?"
