The Adventurer System

Roshy gained a unique passive skill called "Combustion" by knowing her zexel. What could she possibly do with this? She could start a fire or cause a strong explosion by rubbing her hands together at the same time. She could also transmit her fire through her Katana.

"Come on over here, you three. Allow me to warm you up." Roshy ordered the adventurers to kneel on the surface. It appeared that their movements were frozen as a result of the extreme cold.

[Combustion!]

First, she activated her zexel then regulated the intense heat appearing on her body.

[Ignite!]

An orange mild aura sucked on the adventurers' bodies in an instant. Furthermore, you could easily tell the differences between them.

Three of them were lightly jumping on the surface to demonstrate their ability to move without difficulty.

"Thank you, Roshy. With this, I can deflect our opponent's attacks." A man with a blank expression said. He wore a green shield and had black eyes and blue hair. Holo level 28 tank was his screen name.

"Roshy, Holo was correct. If you aren't here, our opponents will be able to easily defeat us." A woman with a childlike expression said. She was endowed with a silver magic staff, green eyes, and red-violet hair. Candy, a level 28 cleric, was her screen name.

The following member belonged to the fighter class; he had black hair, silver eyes, and wielded a red axe. Cerxo level 28 was his screen name.

While gaining the wolf's ability, Kaiyo decided to become an assassin. He could easily annihilate his opponents because he was gifted with speed and high instincts.

Although Kaiyo was the party's leader, Roshy was its brain. She was able to determine which effective plan would work in a given situation due to her high intelligence.

After Grim left, it was her new party. "I need to see you here, Grim," Roshy said, a malicious grin on her face.

After 5 minutes, both parties were still unable to see each other due to the thick blizzard that was blocking their vision.

"What's your plan now, Roshy? Our team members warmed up after being exposed to the elements. We must act in order to win this battle." Kaiyo said in husky tones.

"Are you in a hurry, Kaiyo? Just keep your cool, and we'll be there in no time to meet Madness's party." She asked him to stop while recalling one of Kaiyo's abilities. "Isn't it true that you have a good smell? Why don't you use it to try to track them down?" She proposed.

Kaiyo shook his head and looked at her. "If I can just use it, I'll use it without your permission. However, the blizzard here is too strong, so the scent of the adventurers quickly faded."

Kaiyo was correct; even if he could detect a different scent, it would simply fade away or transport them to a different location.

The trees flooded next to him, washing away all the leaves as a result of the intense cold. Also, the sky had darkened as the environment had changed to become this way.

"In this case, we should look for our opponent on our own." Roshy turned around to face the two adventurers. "Could you please protect the frontline, Cerxo and Holo? We must guard against all potential surprise attacks."

Cerxo and Holo have both cheerfully nodded at her. "Of course, Roshy, leave this kind of work to us!" They said it all at once.

Candy took a step forward and inquired as to what she needed to do. "What about me? What can I do to assist our party?"

"Just keep your eyes peeled, Candy. You'll be useful when we face our opponents." Roshy replied, then continued walking in the straight path, despite the fact that their movements were hampered by the thick snow on their feet.

Kaiyo used his speed to leap to the trees. "I'll scout the area; we need to find them before they find us."

At this point, the first party may discover that their opponents have the upper hand. As they will launch a surprise attack that will easily annihilate them.

The adventurers who were watching the fight wore bored expressions. They knew that if the fighting continued, the participants would be unable to see each other.

"Hey! How long will we have to wait before they start?"

"Modify the location! We came here to watch an exciting fight! Certainly not this one!"

Some of the adventurers were upset, but they couldn't do anything about it because it was part of the event's rules.

Kaiyo blinked his eyes open in surprise as he noticed adventurers passing through the deep part. Furthermore, they were protected by a magical barrier, so the powerful blizzard had no effect on them.

To put it simply, Madness' party was surrounded by a white-blue light that was clearly made of mana.

Swish!

Before Kaiyo could return to Roshy's location to report what he had seen, a lance charged at him.

Bam!

Kaiyo, despite his strong instincts and sharp eyes, was enabled to shift his position and avoid the attack, which easily took down an 8-foot tree.

Boom!

As soon as the tree touched down on the surface, it shook the ground and exploded in an instant. Spite of the fact that the air was surrounded by snow from the surface, Kaiyo appeared out of it.

Swoosh!

"How did that man notice me from such a distance? I'm pretty sure I didn't make any noise." Kaiyo was plotting with the man with long silky blue hair, a handsome face, and silver armor with red lining around the edges.

Bam!

"Kaiyo, what happened? Did you set off that explosion—?" Roshy spoke quickly, but eventually came to a halt. After she discovered the other adventurers' existence. "Prepare yourselves, everyone! They've arrived!"

Kaiyo's party became concerned as she spit these words.

"Roshy, keep your backside to yourself. We'll take care of that man." Holo said this while firmly gripping his green shield.

"No, I can defend myself. Just keep Candy safe from the attack, as they'll be aiming for her first." Roshy spoke up, then cast a glance at the man with blue hair who was on his way to them.

His name was Ruckus, and he was a level 29 adventurer. He specialized in wielding a lance with various types of blades.

Roshy appeared to have a good idea of who the man fearlessly standing in front of them was. Ruckus, according to what she knew, was an aggressive adventurer who wanted to kill his opponents without giving them a chance. Furthermore, this man was a guild prospect because his zexel could easily produce a blade as long as he had enough mana.

Roshy, on the other hand, can't help but think Madness. Madness was one of the battle's main threats because she could use high-level magic to draw two magical circles with different elements.

"It's not an easy battle, and I hope you come out on top."

Swoosh!

Ruckus charged at them without waiting for party members to arrive after. Ruckus appeared to be confident that he could win this fight on his own.

Clang!

Then, all of a sudden, their ears picked up on the sound of metal colliding. Kaiyo was the one who regulated his metal claws out of his hands in order to slow Ruckus's pacing.

Kaiyo said something to Ruckus while their blades were screeching. "I'm impressed that you were able to find me in that position."

"No insect can evade detection."

Swish!

Red blood splattered from Kaiyo's mouth as a sharp blade stabbed him in the stomach. Ruckus, to be specific, used his zexel to create a sharp weapon on his foot.

"Tch! Weak!" Kaiyo whirled around while swinging his metals claws.

Clang!

Ruckus's eyes widened when he saw someone capable of destroying his weapon. That compelled him to erupt with a new sword from his hands.

[Healing!]

Candy used her healing spell from the backline to close Kaiyo's wound. In addition, he must regain the health points he has lost.

"Thank you, Candy." Kaiyo said, then raised his brows as if to say something mean.

Candy nodded her head at him, indicating that she understood his gestures.

[Physical enhancement!]

Not to mention Candy's buffing and healing abilities were already at level 2. That means the power she could bestow was far greater than the ordinary skill.

Kaiyo could already feel the changes after the red aura left his body. Ruckus, on the other hand, glared at Candy, knowing that if that woman was still here, he'd be in big trouble.

So, in order to solve his problem, he went in the opposite direction and dashed towards Candy.

[Light speed!]

Kaiyo was unable to respond to Ruckus's speed because he was already too late to notice Ruckus's increased distance from Candy.

Swoosh!

A blonde woman stepped in just as his sharp sword was about to strike Candy's neck. She transferred her fire through her katana.

"Not this time, big guy!" Roshy said.

[Ignite!]

Rucku's entire body was devoured by strong fire in less than a minute, and they were still in the snow. It wasn't enough to extinguish the fire.
