The Adventurer System

Before Asarki and Grim the ground floor of the Vampire's mansion. She tried to get the cores of the mythical beast, but Grim stopped her.

"Let me do that, Asarki, you should conserve your energy since we are going to face the dungeon boss."

He was right as seizing the monsters' would consume power and fatigue as it came from the mythical beast. He took out the knife and stepped forward.

She just nodded her head at him, seeing how easily Grim took all the cores in a short period. "This man is unbelievable, now I fully understand why the Guild Leaders and big company is scouting him-"

And all of a sudden, she stopped as she remembered that she hadn't had any idea what was Grim's zexel. She shook her head and said. "It's not appropriate if I asked him more about his skills."

Grim and Asarki walked upstairs, seeing the huge door where the dungeon boss existed. She stepped back, sensing the tremendous mana inside this room.

"What's the problem, Asarki? Are you still not good? We can stay for a while and wait for you to recover." Grim wasn't in a rush. To be simple, they were just consuming almost two hours in this dungeon.

She shook her head once more, "N-No, Grim, I'm pretty good. But the monster in front of us looks a tough one." She stuttered, didn't know how she was going to explain what her eyes could see right now.

It piqued his attention, trusting this woman's eyes. But what he could do? They needed to complete the last monster before they could leave this dungeon.

Aside from that, he was well savvy that he couldn't see what Asarki's eyes could since she was special. At the same time, noticing she started to be obnoxious.

"It seems someone is bothering you, Asarki? However, this quest had no turning back if we don't fight the last our virtuals' characters would stuck in this dungeon." He said in a deep tone and even though he hadn't had the ability could see the mana he already felt it. After he stood up closer to the door.

Well, Asarki knew about it. But the thing bothering her were these questions. What if Grim has no match in the monster in this dungeon? What if we fail this quest and get killed by this monster? We can't enter again in this virtual game?

She wasn't aware that she was mumbling until... Grim shrugged her shoulders and gently tapped it. "You should stop thinking, Asarki, it can't help you to create a concrete plan. Also, I need your help with this battle so stay strong."

For the first time, Asarki heard Grim ask for help. It was new for her as this guy was the independent adventurer that could defeat all the monsters or adventurers who blocked his path. So she asked herself, who Asarki was to refuse the adventurer who carried her in the Championship round in the guild selection and gave her so much exposure.

At first, no one could recognize in the adventurer had the screen name of Asarki. Why? Since she hadn't the skill to stand out with the other adventurers, at the same time, her cleric ability was just average. But the thing that put her in the exposure she had right now was the ability to be rogue as she had the speed and strength to defeat an adventurer. That was the main reason why she had the nickname of the Cleric Assasin.

Usually, the main opponent of the cleric was the assassin. To be more simple, the main job of the Rogue was to eliminate the threat that could sustain its party members or maximize their power. But in Asarki's condition, she combined those classes in one, which means she wasn't an easy target for the rogue. To address what she has done it was called "Hybrid" it was the way that you were combining two different perks in one location.

She nodded her head at him, followed him upstairs. "You're right, Grim, also should glad because I'm with the strongest rookie." She smiled.

Grim chuckled at her, "Well, you look fine now so let's go!"

After he placed his hands on the red metal door, he noticed that he can't push it by just using a normal strength. So he cast the [Physical transmission] to flow his physical strength through his arms.

Bam!

In an instant, Grim and Asarki were succeeded opened the huge door. Inside the place was so dark that it was hard for them to see the things in this place.

"Be careful, Grim, I can see the monster's mana, it's just inside." Asarki warned while her eyes gleamed as she activated her unique passive skill.

Grim accepted her reminder, nevertheless utilized small fire in his grasp. Thanks to the elemental ring he took from the Queen, he can now easily regulate any of the magic elements.

They stepped on the red carpet, seeing a candle from afar but it wasn't enough to lighten up the entire place. On the side, Yumiro saw the pillars, paintings, and three meters bat's statue. Furthermore, he wasn't paying attention to them as Asarki said that their opponent was positioned in front of them.

To determine their distance within the small candle it was around one hundred meters it wasn't sufficient to see everything.

In her right hand was the knife while in the opposite hand was the staff. In her mind, if the monster approached them she will never hesitate to use the toxic gul to paralyze the vampire in an instant.

They were walking little by little until they reached the middle. "Grim, we are closer and the mana here is denser than the outside." She kept reminding him of all the things that she noticed in this area.

Grim just gave his nod, didn't let himself lose his focus. "Thanks, Asarki, but if the new occurrence happens steps back-!" He couldn't complete his sentence as the occurrence he was waiting for transpired before she finished it.

But before the light-activated located under their feet, Grim already pushed Asarki to save her from the danger.

"Grim, what are you doing?!" Asarki said as she immediately recovered her footing to follow him.

Bam!

She dashed and her body hit a concrete wall that looked like no matter how she tried to use her strength it will never break.

"Just step back, Asarki, the dungeon boss is approaching!"

A huge violet magic circle transpired and the torches mounted onto the wall automatically lightened up. With this, the two adventurers knew it was the start of this new battle.

Dark, red, and were the colored you could see paint on the wall and the main reason why inside was so dark. But the most thing that caught his attention was the black coffin positioned in the center of the altar where the five pillars were around it.

"Grim, why did you push me?! You said that you need your help!" Asarki said with an angry tone.

"That's right, Asarki, you will assist me to devise a plan to defeat this vampire. I don't need your buff skill, I just want your tactics."

Boom!

The conversations of the two adventurers were stopped as the monster lying inside the coffin kicked the seal.

For no apparent reason, Yumiro was felt pressured even though the monster wasn't revealing his strength.

To begin with, a creature with pale skin, dark eyes, long silky black, dark violet fangs, taller than Yumiro by one meter, red earrings, and eyes masked.

Gulp!

He swallowed his saliva after the monster was looking at him along with a malicious smile. He guessed that the vampire thought that he could easily defeat this human.

[Fire]

Grim cast a fire skill in his grasp to maximize the kariki knife. Moreover, he thought that this vampire was afraid of metal just like in the movie he watched.

Zing!

In an instant, the vampire released so much force that easily pushed Grim back to the barrier that separated him from Asarki.

"What's going on, Grim?!" Even though Asaki was in a safe spot she could feel the intense power given by the vampire. As they felt like, that the gravity was pulling them down.

Bam!

Yumiro was slowly sliding on the barrier and eventually fell to the ground. He was shocked, didn't know what was exactly happened to him.

"The vampire does that?" He asked himself and blinked his eyes in confusion. His legs were suddenly trembling, trying to stop by using his hands.

Bam!

The Vampire seated on the red throne in the pillar, looking at Grim in the that he was mocking him. As the vampire that this man was terrified after showing one of his power.

"What's the problem with my legs...? Come on, stand up the monster is in front of me. I need to kill him right now!" Grim was upset as his mental strength was his main opponent right now.

Ding!

Before the battle between Grim Draigh and the Vampire gets started. The gaming screen appeared right in front of his eyes.
