I’ve grown up with Colette since I was little, who left the village with me to become an adventurer.

When we first went out, both of us had to do various jobs together. I had a background in magic, and with a crude sword and some elementary magic, I grew steadily. Colette also improved her archery skills and had become a reliable companion.

I remember when I left the village with Colette, I was looking forward to accomplishing my goal and was a little anxious. We won’t be separated until we die. I was thinking such green thoughts.

I forced myself to move my body, which was still sluggish and sore, and stood up.

I’m still too immature to remember the past when I’m in danger. I’ve decided to move forward. Let’s just get rid of all these unnecessary memories.

I shook my head a couple of times and picked up the magic stones that had fallen. There were so many that I couldn’t bring all of them back. I picked up the magic stone of the largest giant skeleton knight, put it in until the bag was about to burst, and left the others behind.

Tomorrow, it would be absorbed by the dungeon and disappear. It feels like a waste, but it’s just like memories. I’ll just have to dismiss it as unnecessary and forget about it.

I climbed up the stairs along the wall and escaped from the hole. A number of magic stones had fallen here as well.

I could see how critical the situation was for me.

This dungeon is dangerous. If you don’t prepare as if you’re going to challenge a dungeon of high difficulty, you could be wiped out before you even get inside. Let’s be sure to tell that to the village chief. Just because it’s a new dungeon, it doesn’t mean you should let your guard down.
