The Fallen Consort

The woman was shaking and her face was very pale. He noticed that she was soaked and her hair was still wet. For some reason, it tugged his cold heart.

He flicked his sleeves. The woman's body floated in the air, Her clothes and hair instantly dried up. Even though she wasn't soaked anymore, she was still trembling.

He walked closer to see her face. He concluded that he had never seen this woman before. Her face was too ordinary. He can feel the same aura coming out from her weak body, so he was sure that she was the omen.

He picked up her body from the air and carried her out of the cave. He waved his right hand and instantly disappeared into thin air.

Yi Ling woke up startled. She was now inside a very luxurious chamber. She remembered passing out inside a came. Where did she go now? She rubbed her temples, headache was starting to build up.

She notice that she wasn't wearing the same clothes anymore. She was wearing a light green dress. It looked expensive. She got up from the bed and looked around. She found a mirror and went to see if the dress fits her. She hardly wore a dress before and she really wanted to. She didn't like dressing up like a man. Her bosom always hurt in the process. When she finally see herself in the mirror, she screamed.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!"

A different woman was standing in front of the her. The face was completely different from hers. It wasn't beautiful nor it was ugly. To better describe it, it was a very common face. That wasn't what bothered her though, but because it was a different face!.

Where was she? and whose face was she staring at? Her knees went weak and she fell on her buŧŧ. As she sat down on the floor, her brain couldn't handle the shock.

"What's happening to me? Where am I? Who am I? No... I'm Yi Ling. But then, who is she?" indicating the woman in the mirror. She got up and stared at the face again. She touched her face, her arms and her ċhėst. She was definitely inside a different body. The bosom was small on this one, she thought. Everything felt real and there wasn't anything that covered her face.

As she was trying to straighten her thoughts, a knock came on her door.

"Young miss. If you are awake, The King would like to have a word with you in the garden". The voice said behind the door.

King? Am I in one of those High Ranked Kingdoms? She thought. She went to opened the door and saw a young man waiting for her..

"My name is Yu Ran, I am King Jin's subordinate. Please, this way young miss" he gestured her to follow him.

"Where am I?" She asked Yu Ran as they walked towards the garden.

Yu Ran's eyebrows lifted up, what an odd question.

"You are inside King Jin' Palace of the Jin Kingdom." He answered. Although he find the woman too odd and too ordinary, he was ordered to be polite. He had never seen the King with any woman before. He hated any woman that comes close to him. Then who is this woman? how is she related to the King? And why was she sleeping in King's Quarters?
