The Fallen Consort

Everyone was quiet and were waiting on Yi Ling's next move.

Yi Ling walk towards Xiang He, Elder Zhen gave way to her. With a wave of her sleeve, three vials landed on her hand. They were green and red concoctions, along with an empty bigger vial. Yi Ling have never tried mixing both before, but she can always experiment. For odd reasons, she was confident that it'll work on Xiang He. Just that, she didn't know where her confidence came from.

In front of Xiang He, Yi Ling uncorked the two colored concoctions. The smell permitted in the air, he and Elder Zhen felt invigorated by just smelling it. What more when someone actually drinks it? At first, they we're still both hesitant, Now they can be ??ssured that Doctor Yi knows medicine.

Yi Ling poured both of them into the empty bigger vial. Linyu's brows furrowed. He knew what the two were but even himself , doesn't know what will be the reaction if you mixed both of them.

Ling held on it firmly, she waited till it stopped. Xiang He was curious to the concoctions in front of him. He didn't know anything about medicine but the one in front of him right now looks magical. There were different colors inside the vial and it was shimmering.

When the bubbles finally stopped, Yi Ling handed it to Xiang He.

"It probably won't taste good, but it'll definitely cure you. Drink it in one go." She ordered. Even though she was ambitious, she wasn't rude or so she thinks.

Xiang He accepted the vial and looked at everyone. They all waited for him to drink it up. He took a deep breath and drink the vial. He can feel an intense burning sensation up from his throat to his stomach. He didn't stop drinking it till it was gone. When he was finished, he started coughing real bad.

"ughh.. ugghh... ughh.." Xiang he was starting to cough blood. Seeing the blood, Elder Zhen was shocked. He instantly ??ssisted the Crown Prince.

"Your highness! are you okay? Doctor Yi! what is going on??" Elder Zhen started panicking. He didn't know what to do, he'd like to call a doctor but they already have a doctor inside the room!

"He is expelling the poison inside of him. Don't give him any water till he stops coughing." Yi Ling ordered, seeing that Elder Zhen was about to hand him a glass of water. Elder Zhen stared at Doctor Yi, whatever happens; he needs to follow his orders.
