Hogwarts doesn't need a savior

After a hearty breakfast, Harry and his party, escorted by Kingsley and a team of strikers, took a special car from the British Ministry of Magic and arrived here. This was Harry's fourth time at this station that day. He was familiar with all the precautions, but felt a little uncomfortable because of the rain.
The air is humid and the clothes stick to the body, which does not make people feel happy, but only stuffy and irritable.
Pretending to chat, he, Ron and Hermione pushed the cart with their boxes into the wall and entered the steam-filled Platform 9 3/4, feeling the familiarity of Hogwarts after being away for many days.
Through the thick smoke from the Hogwarts Express, they found many familiar faces in the stands. They were all young wizards saying goodbye to their parents, or adults saying goodbye to their children - in fact, teenage boys and girls sometimes didn't like to be too close.
There were voices and the cries of pets everywhere, it was ridiculously noisy, like a group of ghosts, but Harry didn't think there was anything wrong with it. Instead, he smiled brightly and prepared to move the boxes upstairs with Ron and Hermione.
But before they had taken a few steps, they were blocked outside a carriage by a bustling crowd.
Through the little heads crowded together, they saw a familiar yet unexpected figure.
"Professor Eric? Why are you here?" Hermione exclaimed.
The slightly shrill voice penetrated the crowd and caught the attention of Lynn, who was chatting and joking with Boyce and the others.
"Hermione and the others are here. You guys should get in the car quickly, Boyce. I'll listen to you on the way." Lin En smiled and patted the Hufflepuff prefect on the shoulder, then walked through the crowd and came in front of Hermione and the other two.
"Good morning, Hermione, Ron, and Harry. I heard about your experience at the Quidditch World Cup. Is Harry's injury healed?"
"I'm almost recovered, Professor." Harry nodded politely. "Nice to meet you."
"You don't know, Harry is now a magical creature that is under special protection." Ron grinned and laughed, "We are also benefiting from it!"
"Ron! Stop talking nonsense!" Hermione hit him on the arm. "Professor, are you taking the train today too?"
“That’s right. I’m going with you today. With something this serious happening, the school must respond.” Lin En said with a smile, “I will be in charge of protecting the special train for the start of school this time. You can rest assured.”
"Uncle Eric is much better than those Aurors!" Ron touched his nose, wiping off the dust that had gotten on it, looking very proud, as if he was bragging about himself.
Lin En was already very familiar with this boy who he had watched grow up. After teasing him for a while, he raised his hand and lightly tapped. The luggage of the three people immediately floated into the air and followed them into the train.
When boarding the train, Lynn turned her head and saw Mrs. Weasley and the remaining children, as well as Kingsley who followed them to the platform - the strikers were on standby outside, and he was about to go to Hogwarts to start a one-year special mission.
Few people know about this arrangement yet, and even if they do, they wouldn't care, because in recent days, in order to calm the public opinion caused by the Quidditch World Cup riots, another rumor has spread.
Everyone's focus will certainly be on something else than the seemingly inconspicuous new professor, even though this new professor may be one of the most powerful wizards in the Ministry of Magic today.
After seeing Harry and the others off on the train, Lynn placed a small handbag of hers in their compartment, which made Hermione, who had been worried about the holiday, very happy.
After doing all this, he got out of the car and chatted with the Weasleys for a while, especially with Bill and Charlie. Percy, of course, would not come. He went to a meeting with Amelia before dawn.
While chatting, Lynn also saw Draco Malfoy, who looked very worried. He came with his parents and was not as ostentatious as before. He got into the car after a few words.
In order not to expose his cooperative relationship with Lucius, Lynn pretended not to see it and continued to chat with Arthur about the company's new product development and technological iteration issues. Bill and Charlie also interjected from time to time, and the conversation was in full swing.
Unfortunately, before they could chat for long, the starting whistle blew and the engine's pistons began to move. They could only say goodbye in a hurry and parted ways in the thick steam.
This made Harry somewhat sad, so much so that he forgot to ask Lynn about the attack during the first half of the journey.
In the box with an excellent location, all that could be heard was Hermione's chattering questions and Lynn's patient answers - perhaps the biggest difference was that Ron also joined in this time, and although he couldn't quite keep up with the pace, his attitude was encouraging.
As they were talking, little wizards from other carriages would come to visit from time to time, such as Luna who brought some Irish specialties bought from someone unknown, Fred and George who showed off their research results, and Neville who was always a little shy.
This summer, Lynn met him less often than usual, but she knew that he was studying very hard under the supervision and guidance of his grandmother Augusta.
Entering the fourth grade, many complex magics, especially the "real Rune magic" they have been looking forward to for a long time, have come to the stage of learning - this is not only a year to lay the foundation for the OWLs exam, but also a year for them to get rid of their immaturity and truly move towards becoming qualified wizards.
-----------------
"Professor! I knew you would be here! Didn't you come to chat with us?!"
The journey was halfway through and Hermione had just turned two-thirds of her densely packed notebook. Lynn, who was feeling a little dry-mouthed from lecturing, heard a loud and energetic voice.
"Aren't we waiting for you to finish your patrol?" Looking at Boyce and the other two, Lin En smiled gently, "Would you like to come in and sit down? I'm curious about your fight with the thugs."
"Of course! We'll bother you then!" Without being polite at all, Boyce, who had just finished his inspection as a prefect, squeezed in first, followed by Cedric and Pavla. "Of course I won in the end. Those people are so useless. They only know how to bully Muggles who have no power to fight back!"
This cheerful and outgoing prefect always had the uncanny ability to liven up the atmosphere. He described a duel that was resolved with only three spells in great vivid detail for nearly half an hour, and only ended the talk with a sense of unfulfilled desire when he had to continue his patrol.
This feat also amazed Harry.
He and his two good friends also saw the bullying of those poor Muggles by the parade.
He thought of the questions that had been lingering in his mind but no one could answer them. He waited until Boyce and the others left and asked, "Professor, what happened that day? I know something bad happened, but I don't know what it was."
Hermione and Ron also put down their work and gave him questioning looks.
"It seems that Arthur and Molly have indeed protected you very well." Lynn slowly leaned back in his chair, still not moving. He did not look at Harry, who was full of anxiety, but cast his gaze towards the dense rain outside the window. "Perhaps Dumbledore also wants me to explain."
He raised his wand, and the door of the box, which Cedric had left a crack on when he left, closed quickly, and the magic that blocked out sound and sight was seamlessly connected.
"Although there are many things you cannot know now, you should be prepared for this matter." Lin En said slowly, "Regarding the protection magic your mother cast for you, and the plans of some people."
Chapter 423 "Little Surprise"
Even though Harry only knew that someone wanted to take his blood for some ulterior conspiracy, he still felt tremendous pressure, and his mood was not high during the rest of the journey.
Lin En also knew that he should let the young man digest the situation, so he briefly explained the situation and left to find Cedric and the others - he had originally planned to meet his club members one by one before arriving at school, and arrange for the club to recruit new members this year.
As Percy graduated and left school, Doris changed from an assistant to a colleague, and more responsibilities fell on Cedric's shoulders.
Beuys was well aware of this and did not feel jealous or unwilling. Instead, he was happy to see it happen.
For this carefree prefect, the most important and happiest thing this year is Doris's graduation. He can at least be the king of the club and the school for a year and live a good life that is better than anything else.
probably.

Although Ron and Hermione tried their best to cheer Harry up, he still didn't smile when he changed into his school robes, and he didn't talk much. When the Hogwarts train stopped at the platform, his face turned pale.
It is not difficult to see that it is not easy to expect a fourteen-year-old boy to accept these things quickly.
The door opened, and young wizards of all grades got off the train amidst thunder and lightning. They were hit hard by the extremely heavy rain, and they could not even see the road clearly. They could only crawl around with difficulty, trying their best to catch up with the Thestral carriage.
Even though the carriage was parked outside the station, they were all soaked and looked in a very miserable state.
After all the personnel were gathered, the long convoy set off along the muddy path, passing through a gate with a winged wild boar sculpture on each side and heading towards Hogwarts. The convoy was shaken by the wind and rain, and people even worried that it would fall apart.
Harry still sat in his seat in a depressed mood, looking at Neville, Luna and Ginny who were squeezed into a car with the three of them. He still felt unmotivated. He just watched the Hogwarts Castle that he had been dreaming about in July and August getting closer and closer.
But their bad luck was not over yet. When the wet little wizards rushed into the castle in two steps, they were greeted by Peeves, the king of mountain monkeys, and his water ball attack.
In Lynn's absence, it evaded the patrols of the Bloody Baron without the deterrent effect, and delivered the first lesson of the new school year to the students who came from afar with an efficiency that even Magg couldn't notice. It didn't escape until the exasperated Magg came out with a strange smile.
"Damn it! I couldn't be more unlucky than today!" Ron shook his head vigorously, which was full of water. "I think I'm going to catch a cold. What kind of horrible weather is this?"
"Yeah," agreed Harry. "It's been a terrible day!" He was also soaking wet, and his anger at Peeves temporarily dispelled his anxiety as he walked towards the Great Hall with one slippery step.
Not far away were Boyce and his friends. Cedric and Pavla were chatting and laughing, and there were a few little wizards from the Stargazer Club next to them. Walking in the front was Boyce, who had finally outlasted the leader.
He held his head high and his every word and action revealed unspeakable pride. Although he was inferior to Cedric in terms of magic level, the good-tempered Cedric was always reluctant to show up in public too often, and there was no doubt that others were not as good as him.
When he thought of this, he, who had been "bullied" by Doris for several years, felt refreshed, and hundreds of little calculations were going on in his mind.
"Hehehe, let me tell you, now that Doris has finally graduated and left, this year is my era!"
Their signature loud voices carried far away but were drowned out by the chattering crowd as they walked into the auditorium.
The long tables of the four colleges were filled with embarrassed yet cheerful little wizards, and soon there would be even more embarrassed first-year students - they had been ferried across the lake in such a rainy day, and one could imagine how miserable they were.
At the deepest part of the auditorium were the fifth and sixth long tables - those were the faculty tables, where professors including Lin En were already seated.
Originally there were supposed to be only five, but this year there were many new faces that the students had never seen before.
This naturally aroused their curiosity.
"Looking at this situation," Bois said with interest, chin in hand, "there are quite a few new professors this year."
His scrutinizing eyes swept across the dining table from left to right, looking at the new professors he knew or didn't know, including the famous Transfiguration expert, the less conspicuous astronomer, and a young wizard who looked familiar - as if he was a graduate from previous years.
"That's interesting. So it's this... eh!"
The relaxed and proud mood disappeared when he saw the far right end of the faculty seats. He saw a person who could not be more familiar.
Not Professor Eric, nor Professor Sprout who sat to his left, but...
"Doris!!! Why haven't you left yet?!"
The exclamation that came out of his mouth at the top of his lungs was heard clearly by everyone in the auditorium. Countless eyes were directed at him, and there was a smiling face that could definitely be described as "kind".
[The Leading Brother Experience Card (half day) has expired]
If Boyce had loaded up some fancy gaming system or something, these words would have floated over his head.
The noisy crowd seemed to have pressed the pause button, and he watched Doris walk from the faculty table to him.
Completely different from when she was in school, Doris wore a slimmer robe today, which fully highlighted her tall figure. The pattern on the clothes was just right, which perfectly set off her proud yet not too ostentatious temperament.
"Gudu..."
Boyce swallowed hard.
"I heard from the professor that you think you can do whatever you want as long as you get rid of me?" Doris smiled with her eyes curved, crossed her arms, and looked at her gold medal sparring partner in a teasing manner. "Then you may be disappointed. We still have to deal with each other for a long time."
Mr. Springhall, who thought he had finally made it, suddenly seemed to have fallen into a huge bottomless pit.
It was not until then that he found out what the "little surprise" Doris had mentioned before graduation was - he thought she had forgotten about it, but he didn't expect it to be such a surprise.
He felt his eyes darken as he thought about his last school year, which would surely be more fulfilling than the previous one.
Life always has its ups and downs...
Cedric and Pavla had already disappeared without a trace, as had the Stargazers Club members who had fled when they saw the situation was not looking good.
"This is really... so happy." He said with difficulty, his smile was uglier than crying.
Dumbledore, who was sitting in the principal's seat, also witnessed everything that happened right before his eyes. He turned his head quietly to glance at Lynn, who was happy to see it happen.
After spending the past month together, he felt that he understood this secretive young man better and better.
It is no longer just a fog, but a true insight into his thinking and soul through his words, actions and plans.
Although it's just the tip of the iceberg.
"Ms. Foley..." He smiled at the recent graduate and new professor handpicked by Lynn, and he had an idea.
"Squeak-"
Before the little episode was over, the door of the auditorium slowly opened and Professor McGonagall led a long line of freshmen in.
Harry and the other two, who were watching the show, sat in their seats in a daze.
"This is... Mr. Shacklebolt?"
Looking at the dark-skinned wizard walking side by side with McGonagall, Harry had a vague premonition.
Chapter 424: Intercontinental Magic School Tournament
"Please allow me to introduce this year's new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Kingsley Shacklebolt."
Harry's premonition was soon fulfilled - just after the Sorting was over, Dumbledore enthusiastically introduced the new Hogwarts teaching plan and the assistant professors of each subject.
Although he was starving, Harry still felt happy to see that the Auror, who had been protecting him outside the Burrow around the clock not long ago, had become the new professor this year.
"Although Professor Lupin has resigned, the new professor looks pretty good, doesn't he?" He looked at Ron and Hermione happily, and once again thought of what Lynn had said to him on the Hogwarts Express.
This might also be part of the protection plan developed by the school and the Ministry of Magic - as well as the special tutoring that the professor mentioned.
But this time, neither of the two good friends heard what he said because it was too noisy around them.
The empty plates on the dining table were now filled with food. The hungry little wizards picked up their knives and forks and ate heartily. Only the ghosts who couldn't eat were floating around. Almost Headless Nick came to him.
"Peeves was more noisy today than usual. He almost tore down the kitchen. Professor Eric will teach him a lesson when he finds out about this. He treasures the kitchen very much. That mischievous boy has to bear the consequences."
"Why is it so troublesome today?" Ron asked with his mouth full of mashed potatoes and beef.
"I don't know what's wrong with the Bloody Baron lately. He hasn't been under much control. Coincidentally, Professor Eric is not here today, so it's even harder for others to control this little guy." Nick shook his head and almost threw his head off. "I don't know what he did today. He should have been in charge of the dinner preparations in recent years."
Harry's mouth was filled with roasted black pepper chicken legs. He naturally knew the reason why Lynn was not there, but it seemed inappropriate to tell others, not even the ghost of the college.
"Who knows, maybe something happened?" He swallowed the food in his mouth with difficulty and said calmly.
Hermione was still flipping through her holiday notes and problem collection that she hadn't had time to finish in the car. She ate and studied at the same time, ignoring everything that was happening around her, including the sound of rain and thunder hitting the roof and windows.
This is also the most common way of getting along for the inseparable trio. They are all busy with their own things, but they always stay together.
