Therefore, the Guanyin Bodhisattva in Journey to the West has definitely reached the Taiyi realm, and the time of his attainment of enlightenment was before this cosmic reincarnation, and even before the Tathagata Buddha Shakyamuni.
The reason why Sakyamuni, the Tathagata Buddha, has a high status in Buddhism is not because he attained enlightenment the earliest and is the most powerful, but because he is the Buddha of the present, the Buddha who attained enlightenment in this era.
