"Creating islands is actually about establishing order; in other words, it is the spear of authority."

[This spear takes the form of the Amano Spear. Although it no longer possesses the power to create islands, it can still establish rules and order... once only.]

[Attention! This spear's effectiveness is enhanced when used against non-human beings! Those pierced by it cannot die, nor can they escape.]

[Attention! This authoritarian relic can only exist in the Lostbelt and can only be used with the permission of the rulers!]

An Gang's voice trembled: "What should it be called...it must have a name, right?"

He did not dare, nor could he leave an inscription on it, because he was not the person Scar Father had identified as being able to hold the authority of the East Kingdom for a thousand years.

Heber reached out and took the gunblade.

"Amanuma Spear."

Eastern Volume: 79 General, Retired Emperor

It started as a light dream, then gradually became a dark nightmare.

In the dark nightmare without moonlight, Minamoto no Raikou and Ugly Gozen looked at each other.

She had dreamed of him many times, hearing him speak in a boastful tone: "I am the nameless Great Gozen, the thunder and lightning, the Supreme Emperor. I am the Lord of the Lightning Gods, the Ox-Headed Heavenly King. I was worshipped before you monkeys arrived from the west, and I will continue to be worshipped after you were destroyed by the scorching sun. As you see, I will prove this to be true."

This is the most heavy secret in Minamoto no Raikou's heart - the Ugly Gozen is none other than the retired emperor himself, who has inherited the unbroken line of succession from the Eastern Kingdom.

Before this, all the retired emperors were merely vessels for Uzumaki. Whether it was Seiwa, Kanmu, or Daigo... they were all just names used to distinguish between "vessels."

——It is both me and not me.

Ugly Gozen stared at Minamoto no Raikou with his eyes as bright as thunder: But you are different, because you are a person from the era of purge, and you are also destined by heaven to hold the power of the world. In other words, you are the other half of my destiny.

Minamoto no Raikou remained unmoved. She knew that her teacher had been suppressing Ugly Gozen all along, preventing her from taking over her body and returning to Heian-kyo as the new generation of retired emperor.

--madness.

Ugly Imperial Concubine responded with a disdainful sneer: "I am you. It is meaningless to try to distinguish between the inside and the outside. Besides, do you really believe that the demon fox is helping you?"

The Ox-Headed Heavenly King whispered: "Killing is the foundation of destruction, and destruction is another name for nothingness. She knew you would embark on this path, yet she fueled it... Raikou, you've known all this for a long time."

Minamoto no longer answered, and she began to breathe deeply, breathe deeply, and breathe deeply.

In the quiet breathing, the sound of wind and thunder drowned out the sneer of Ugly Gozen, and Minamoto no Raikou felt an incredible calmness in the depths of his heart.

It was a Zen-like truth: she knew her teacher would shape her into a sword, but she was happy to embark on this path because at its end, she would wield the ultimate power and authority in the East.

After that, she would turn around and turn her teacher...

Minamoto no Raikou opened her eyes and saw that the light from the sky was pouring in from the other side of the cave, and the rock wall was covered with marks of sword cuts and scars from lightning burns.

......

When he returned to the residence of Seiwa Genji, Minamoto no Raikou saw his teacher standing in the courtyard, which was unusual for him.

"teacher?"

Heber raised his head and looked at the disciple who was now much taller than him.

She untied the brocade package in her hand and handed over the sword with the blade already attached.

"This is your coming-of-age gift." Heber said softly.

Minamoto no Raikou's hands trembled slightly as she took the sword and pulled it out of the lacquered fish skin scabbard.

Boom!

The moment the sword was unsheathed, a roar like thunder echoed across the plain.

Deep purple lightning moved across the blade, flickering like a living thing.

When Minamoto no Raikou raised his sword, the light around him seemed to dim, leaving only the flickering lightning on the blade.

"Teacher, what's its name?"

"There is no inscription." Heber's voice sounded, "You can give it a name."

Minamoto no Raikou sheathed his sword, and the surrounding environment returned to normal.

"No Dao Ming?" she asked doubtfully.

Under normal circumstances, every knife will have an inscription to indicate its origin and the person who made it.

"It was made by Yasutsuna, but something went wrong during the casting process." Heber shook his sleeves and pulled out another long strip wrapped in bright yellow satin. "There was clearly only enough material for a katana, but they ended up casting a gun."

"The katana doesn't have a name, but the spear does." Heber said in a flat tone, "It's called the Amanuma Spear."

Minamoto no Raikou was so shocked that he couldn't say a word. Of course, she knew what the name Amanuma Spear meant.

No matter how skilled An Gang is, he is still a human being after all. How could he forge the gun that created the islands in mythology?

Heber was reluctant to discuss this with Minamoto no Raikou. "This gun belongs to you, too, but it's missing the barrel. And even with the barrel, it can only be used once."

"Because it only possesses the form and spirit of the Amanuma Spear, and is not a true divine weapon. But even so, it can kill any monster, any evil spirit."

Heber's tone was calm, but Minamoto no Raikou could hear a secret joy in it.

——Teacher, what are you happy about?

She opened her mouth, but the words that came out of her mouth were: "What about you, teacher?"

"...This gun can kill you too, right?"

The fox demon finally smiled. She raised her hand and handed the Amanuma Spear to Minamoto no Raikou.

"So, do you want to try it now?"

Minamoto no Yorimitsu reached out and grabbed the blade of the Amanuma Spear. "No, I will never, ever do that."

This is a lie.

"In that case, I'm relieved." Heber put his hands in his sleeves again, his expression a little nostalgic, "Oh, the mountain flowers seem to be blooming. It's time to go back and take a look."

Minamoto no Raikou was struck by lightning, and the joy that had just risen in her heart disappeared.

The hidden worries in her heart that had been kept secret for a long time were finally triggered, and in her panic she no longer cared about her manners.

"Teacher, are you leaving?"

She spoke sternly and took a few steps forward in an intimidating manner, but she was still unable to cross the short distance.

What I have been worrying about has become a reality——

The fairy put on her celestial clothes again and was about to return to heaven.

But she is not an incompetent and cowardly fisherman!"

Minamoto no Raikou immediately drew out his katana and swung it in front of him without hesitation.

Thunder rumbled.

"I've done everything I could." Heber smiled happily. "Now it's your turn to clean up this world, Raikou."

Her image rippled like water, and returned to normal after the sword was swung.

——It’s not even the real body!

In his mind, Ugly Gozen laughed out loud.

That laughter was full of ridicule and a kind of unknown desolation.

The world is a cycle of cause and effect, and will eventually repeat itself.

"Teacher, where are you going?" Minamoto no Raikou's eyes were bloodshot, and scarlet blood flowed from the corners of his eyes. "Where are you going!"

She roared, but the sound was more like a howl.

"Can we meet again... Can we meet again? Teacher! Tell me—"

"I can't, Raikou." Heber's figure gradually dissipated into scattered petals. "I will return to the mountains and forests and continue to be a wild fox with its tail twitching freely."

"In that case, teacher!"

Minamoto no Raikou raised his sword and stared at Hebe stubbornly with eyes filled with blood and tears.

The mysterious killer destined by fate finally made a declaration that would shake the entire era.

"Then I will kill all the ghosts and monsters in the world until there is no place for you to hide!"

Heber smiled and said, "How easy is that?"

She knew that if she said this, Minamoto no Raikou would unwaveringly embark on the path of conquering demons until all the "non-humans" were killed.

Following Minamoto no Raikou's solemn declaration, Heber could see that the attack rate of the entire Lostbelt was rapidly soaring.

The phantom of the fox demon completely disappeared.

There was a loud thunder.

Heavy rain poured down from the clouds. Minamoto no Raikou stood in the courtyard with his head lowered. His long hair hung down in disarray, covering his wet eyebrows and eyes.

The cold feeling seeped into her skin, but Minamoto no Raikou felt warm - she remembered that her teacher once played a prank on her by sticking ice cubes on her face in the summer.

The surroundings were pitch black, but Minamoto no Raikou felt at peace - she remembered that her teacher once transformed into a fox and covered his eyes with his fluffy and soft tail.

Amidst the torrential rain that darkened the world, Minamoto no Raikou smiled softly.

Ugly Gozen was uncharacteristically silent.

Suddenly, noisy footsteps came from a distance. It was the warriors and servants of Seiwa Genji, who finally came rushing over after hearing the sound.

A scene that frightened everyone was right before their eyes.

Minamoto no Raikou stared at the katana in his hand that was glowing with lightning.

The shadow behind her twisted and grew larger—it had horns on its head and eyes like thunder.

Snapped.

I don't know who lost their courage first, but the servants and warriors knelt down in fear in the rain.

Eastern Kingdom Scroll: 80 Great Gods

In 968 AD, Minamoto no Yorimitsu came of age.

In the same year, Minamoto no Mitsunaka died suddenly, and Minamoto no Yorimitsu succeeded him as the head of the Seiwa Genji family.

In January, the Guhuo bird appeared at the Suzaku Gate, snatching young birds and eating them at night. Minamoto no Raikou hung a mirror at the foot of the Suzaku Gate and, with a sword, cut off the nine heads of the Guhuo bird. The demon's blood fell to the ground and turned into agate.

In February, the troops of Seiwa Genji marched out of Mount Oe and beheaded more than 600 demons. The heads were sent to Heian-kyo, shocking all the nobles.

The regent Fujiwara no Michinaga was afraid of Minamoto no Yorimitsu's divine power and wanted to exile him.

Minamoto no Yorimitsu then took his sword and killed all the samurai, servants, and descendants of the Fujiwara family, totaling more than 1,600 people, and the Fujiwara clan was wiped out.

Flag ⒉ (3) Another flag was raised, which shocked the government and the public.

In March, Minamoto no Raikou cut off Ibaraki Douji's arm in battle, forcing the Oeyama line to retreat over 200 li. That same month, Raikou killed Hashihime and Ishizhongnv, and executed the demon concubine Bunsha in the Imperial Palace's central courtyard. He was awarded the superb rank of "Shogun."

In April, black clouds appeared east of Heian-kyō. Within the clouds was a strange bird with the head of an ape, the body of a raccoon dog, the feet of a tiger, and the tail of a snake. It was called the Nue. Minamoto no Yorimitsu shot it with a bow, and the arrow pierced the monster's head. It looked like a celestial light breaking through the clouds.

People at that time called Raikou the "Great God who Destroys Demons."

In May, Minamoto no Raikou led his troops to Hida Province, beheaded the two-faced, four-armed man "Sukuna", and left his body exposed for seven days.

In June, the general marched north and defeated the Aro King Otakemaru, broke his Sanming sword, and burned Mount Suzuka.

The demon king of Mount Oe, Shuten-doji, came to the rescue, so Otakemaru's young son was able to escape.

After this battle, Raikou's fame spread throughout the land. The monk of Shodaiji Temple wrote the second volume of the "Eastern General Sutra", which was full of miracles and could subdue ghosts and gods.

In July, the general launched a second expedition to Dajiang Mountain.

......

Heber put the final stroke on the paper.

She blew on the paper, and the dripping ink dried up.

In just half a year, Minamoto no Raikou, the son of God who was regarded as a monster by Minamoto no Mitsunaka, became the "great general" respected by everyone in the East.

Without the prefix "征东" or "征夷", it is just "大将".

The nobles of Heian didn't dare to say even a word.

Status? Wasn't Regent Fujiwara no Michinaga high enough? Three consecutive Empresses were from the Fujiwara family, and he himself even wrote the waka poem "This world is my world, like a full moon without a flaw."
