But when Minamoto no Yorimitsu charged into the Fujiwara clan alone, sword in hand, what resistance could he offer? Before the thunderbolt crashing down from the clouds, even the most exalted regent could only be reduced to a pool of charcoal, hardly a noble abode. Furthermore, because Fujiwara no Michinaga himself had died from lightning, his fame had instantly become a stepping stone for Minamoto no Yorimitsu's divine retribution.

Military force? The Fujiwara clan had hundreds of armored soldiers and thousands of retainers, but what good could they do? Mere mortals, in the face of the thundering and lightning might of heaven, were nothing more than ants.

What frightened the nobles the most, or what frightened them to the point of giving up so-called elegance, was that Minamoto no Raikou simply ignored the unspoken rules of the noble class.

It is not enough to kill all the descendants of Fujiwara no Michinaga himself, but all people with blood ties must also be killed.

Fearing that his followers would seek revenge, he killed all the warriors and servants as well.

The warriors and servants also had families and relatives, so they were implicated and killed...

Who has ever seen such a murder? Who taught this killer?

What is even more speechless is that all of the above actions were done by Minamoto no Yorimitsu alone.

Seiwa and Genji did not move a single soldier.

If killing the Kumo-no-tori and ordinary demons could be accomplished with the combined efforts of the samurai and the Onmyoji Bureau, then killing all of the Fujiwara clan within three days by one person... was undoubtedly "inhuman".

Naturally, the nobles would never dare to put Minamoto no Raikou on the same level as demons and monsters, but fortunately, the ranks of "non-humans" include not only demons and monsters, but also gods.

If Minamoto no Raikou, who could easily control wind and thunder, is not worthy of being called a god, then who else can deserve this title?

"......Ah."

Heber imagined the thunderstorm that washed over Heian-kyo in February, and the massacre that turned the river outside the city into blood.

Minamoto no Raikou's path was unstoppable, and she stood firmly in the position of daylight.

In the East Country, there are very few apprentices who can correctly embark on the path of sublimation and become enlightened.

Want to fight against Minamoto no Raikou, who is on the path of destiny? Heber didn't want to be too rude...it would be more reasonable to go to Aurora to invite a master.

Hebe blew out the candle and stuffed the booklet recording Minamoto no Raikou's achievements into his sleeve.

There are only a few people staying in the settlements of Seiwa Genji now.

That's right, Hebe has never really been away from Minamoto no Raikou, but has always been following her from a distance in the form of a fox, just like when Minamoto no Raikou had not yet come of age.

Whenever Minamoto no Raikou defeated a demon, Hebe would go to regulate the earth's veins and soothe the water and soil.

Just like King Arthur used the Sword in the Stone to shatter Cape Verde, if Hebe did not perform the ceremony to dispel the influence lingering on the battlefield, the consequences would be extremely serious.

Of course, Minamoto no Raikou was unaware of this, and the Onmyojis and wizards who came to clean up the mess were amazed at the general's power.

"Tamamo-sama 1? ⊙ Yin Qi Siwu (9), 〞④ wine 8〆 neighbor - dream 〒......"

In the dark room, Tanuki Taro appeared in the moonlight.

His voice was trembling, and even a little afraid.

⑹零er Woshan is V III Ba⑷ The raccoon didn't know what happened to the warrior of the Minamoto family. If the former Minamoto no Raikou was just "terrible", then the current general had already stepped far into the realm of "indescribable".

Minamoto no Raikou single-handedly wiped out the vast world of monsters. No matter whether they were demons or monsters, they only dared to use pronouns like "that sir" or "that guy" when referring to Minamoto no Raikou.

Even the most arrogant Demon King Shuten-doji was unwilling to call him by his name.

Because along with Minamoto no Raikou's killing, she even possessed all kinds of unimaginable merits.

If you call its name directly, Minamoto no Raikou himself will sense it, and then a terrifying thunder will fall from the sky and kill this daring demon!

In the past six months, Tanuki Taro has been following Heber and has seen this situation countless times.

The entire eastern country was in turmoil under Minamoto no Raikou's sword. If there was any place that was safe... it was only by Tamamonomae's side.

The raccoon followed Hebe.

He saw Hebe praying for the devastated mountains and rivers, soothing the broken soil and water, and bringing the fields destroyed by war back to life.

He saw a three-tailed fox god walking barefoot across the land that was repeatedly beaten by thunder and lightning. With every step she took, golden rice stubbornly grew out of the soil, and in an instant it had grown to the same height as her.

He saw the desperate farmers crying for joy and wailing, but Hebe only took away the first sprouted rice plant among them.

He saw Hebe put the golden rice plant in his sleeve, leaving only a back as brilliant as clouds to the world.

And it is not just humans who have received Heber's grace.

Tengu, raccoon dogs, foxes... and many other monster races that were affected because of their weakness, they followed Hebe's guidance, fled to the lakes, or escaped into the mountains, or hid in the sparsely populated borders, avoiding Minamoto no Raikou's crazy and murderous blade.

The demons called her "Nine-tailed Fox Daimyojin", while humans fabricated the story and gave Hebe the title "Uga no Mikami, Inari Daimyojin".

Eastern Volume: 81 Gambling, Teaching, Killing (1+1)

"Raccoon Taro."

Under the moonlight, Heber turned and looked at Yao Li: "You have indeed helped me a lot in the past few years... But you can no longer participate in what is coming next."

She reached for the half-burned candle.

"I've cast an illusion on this candle. When you return to the place where the monsters live, just light it and Raikou won't be able to find you."

The raccoon reached out to take the candle with a trembling hand. He looked at Heber and said, "What about you, Master Tamamo?"

Heber shrugged: "Of course I will do what I should do."

She stared at the demon raccoon who seemed to have noticed something and smiled: "Well, let me make a bet with you."

The nature of the demon fox is to love gambling and fighting, and to have fun and have fun.

Even in this atmosphere, Tanuki Taro got angry, not to mention that this was the first time Heber had made a bet with him.

"Well, what does Lord Tamamo want to bet with me?"

"The first time I saw you was in the castle town of Hyuga Province. At that time, you transformed yourself into the castle lord, but I saw through you at a glance." Heber said slowly.

"I didn't know how to transform back then." Tanuki Taro muttered.

"You seem quite unconvinced. Very well." Heber tucked his hands into his sleeves. "Then I'll wager a transformation contest with you. Return to the Monster Forest and transform into anything you want. In six months, I'll come and capture you."

The fox demon narrowed his eyes. "Isn't the time I gave you enough to prepare this time enough? Don't let it get you through even one night!"

"Look! I'm not the little raccoon demon I used to be!" Tanuki Taro patted his belly and said with high morale, "Lord Tamamo, if I win this time..."

"If you win, I will personally admit that 'the transformations of the Demonic Raccoon Clan are unmatched in the world'!"

Tanuki Taro danced with joy, clutching the candle, and disappeared on the ground with a turn of his head.

Heber rubbed his eyebrows, and after making sure that Tanuki Taro had run far away, he waved to the place not far away.

The dog demon ran over.

"Saga, are you afraid?" Hebe looked at her.

The little dog demon was able to transform into a human form. She wore a gray-black monk's robe, wooden clogs, and held a string of boxwood prayer beads in her hand. Her eyes and brows were clear.

"I'm not afraid." Saga replied.

Hebe then took the golden rice from his sleeve and held it in his hand.

Her dark outer robe gradually turned into a brilliant golden color, and in an instant it became intricate and gorgeous. An amber gem was adorned on her chest, and floating clouds emerged from her golden sleeves.

Her long flaxen hair was tied up at the back of her head with a ribbon of gold, red and white, and a pair of fox ears trembled slightly on top of her head.

The clogs on the soles of his feet suddenly rose several centimeters higher, and three golden tails swayed behind him.

A round, bright ray of heavenly light rose behind Hebe's head, shaped like a mirror.

"Let's go." said the fox.

......

Most of the time, Heian-kyo is extremely far away from its name, and it seems that "peace" is just a luxury.

In recent times, demons and ghosts have indeed disappeared from Heian-kyō, but the common people, samurai, and nobles in Heian-kyō do not feel that they are "peaceful" at all.

Although they were no longer threatened by demons, Minamoto no Raikou became a dark cloud hanging over their heads, which could strike with angry lightning at any time.

The entire Heian-kyo fell into dead silence. People tried their best to restrain their emotions, but bitterness inadvertently revealed at the corners of their mouths.

——It would be great if there was someone who could bring us light and warmth.

——It would be nice if someone could bring true peace.

And in the midst of that expectation and emptiness, Tamamonomae appeared in Heian-kyo.

......

In front of the Suzaku Gate, Saga prepared a straw mat.

Hebe sat down on it, holding the golden ear of rice in her hand.

Nobles, samurai, commoners... people of all identities, classes, and ages continued to gather from all over the city.

They bowed before Hebe, wanting to confide in her but were afraid of the brilliant halo behind her head and did not dare to approach.

Heber looked around and said softly, "I will teach you."

The monk from Zhaotiji Temple trembled his lips and asked, "What Dharma would you like to teach us?"

"The Heart Sutra."

The master clasped his hands together and said, "My Toshodai-ji Temple has a copy of the Heart Sutra written by Master Jianzhen."

Heber nodded and said, "Please recite the Heart Sutra for everyone."

The monk of Zhaotiji then stood up, faced the crowd, and recited the Heart Sutra. He used Chinese, so only the nobles and a few samurai could understand him.

"Please, Great Ming God, grant me the Dharma." After the mage finished chanting, he turned around and bowed.

"Do you think the Heart Sutra is a scripture?" Heber asked.

"Yes." The wizard replied.

"You're wrong. The Heart Sutra isn't a sutra; it's a path." Heber shook his head. "The so-called Prajnaparamita Heart is 'the heart that transcends wisdom to the other shore of Dharma.' In other words, it's 'enlightenment.'"

Heber had no intention of reciting the text verbatim or repeating the version translated by Jianzhen. Instead, he wanted to use the name of the Heart Sutra to teach everyone how to embark on the path of sublimation.

......

"Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva."

The more steadfast one is in acting freely according to enlightenment, the greater one's achievement. In this way, one can embark on a "metaphysical" path, which is the path of sublimation, and the achievement of the path of sublimation is "Bodhisattva," also known as "Bodhisattva."

"When practicing the profound Prajnaparamita, one sees that the five aggregates are empty and overcomes all suffering."

In the process of thinking and practicing extremely deeply, the path of sublimation is connected with the trajectory of the sun, and we know that nothing can be eternal and unchanging, and even those who live in the world for a long time will suffer from impermanence.

"Shariputra! Form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form. Form is emptiness, emptiness is form."

Friends! The world cannot exist independently of the laws of truth. The Golden Truth also operates within this world. Even if we cannot observe this phenomenon, the Golden Truth still exists and maintains the operation of the entire world.

“The same is true of feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness.”

Feel your most original desires and become enlightened by them, this is enlightenment; think about the principles that are consistent with them and sublimate them in the process of practicing them, this is daylight; the so-called achievements are achieved in this process, this is dusk.

"Relics! All dharmas are empty, neither born nor destroyed, neither dirty nor pure, neither increasing nor decreasing."

My friends, dawn, day, and dusk—these are the marks and deeds of the path of ascension, for they are the embryonic forms of the Golden Truth.

Golden truth neither grows nor perishes, and is not subject to criticism or gain or loss, nor is it possible to observe its changes and rise and fall.

"Therefore, in the void there is no form, no feeling, no perception, no volition, no consciousness; no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, or mind; no color, sound, smell, taste, touch, or dharma; no eye realm, and even no consciousness realm."

Therefore, the golden truth has no distinctions of any worldly nature.

“There is no ignorance, nor is there an end to ignorance; there is no old age and death, nor is there an end to old age and death.”

Apprentices soar upward like sparks. In their eyes, everything in the world can be understood, but the boundaries of the world are constantly updated.

The golden truth transcends all changes and destruction, so if we move in this direction, we can at least achieve some success.

"There is no suffering, no accumulation, no extinction, no path, no wisdom, and no attainment."

Apprentices ponder how to ascend the Path of Ascension, but the Golden Truth itself makes no such distinctions.

The path of sublimation is a simplification of the golden truth. By practicing according to the stages, one can eventually achieve similar results.

"Because there is nothing to be gained, the bodhisattva, relying on the prajnaparamita, has a mind free from worries. Because there are no worries, there is no fear. Free from delusions and dreams, he attains nirvana."

In the West, there was a king named Ozymandias. He failed in the final step and fell into a state of neither having nor not having.

Only by following the plan of the path of sublimation and finally breaking free from the constraints of the realm itself can one avoid falling into the fear of regression, achieve the golden truth, and ascend to Takama-ga-hara - that is, the wasteland.

"All the Buddhas of the past, present and future, relying on the Prajnaparamita, have attained the Anuttara Samyaksambodhi."
