Dorum muttered to himself, a hint of shock in his voice.

"My goodness... this kid... is he really this good? Wow!"

Gatz was so excited that his face turned bright red, and he even unconsciously started imitating Marco's verbal tic.

Newgate stared at the blue figure, his eyes gleaming with an unprecedented light.

He knew he had struck gold.

This young man not only possesses a sincere heart, but also the strength to match that heart.

"Gurararara! This kid will definitely grow up to be an amazing man!"

Newgate's laughter was filled with pride, as if Marco were already his real son.

Chapter 104 Marco boards the ship

On the other side, on Blood Axe Baro's three pirate ships.

"Boss! That ship up ahead is Whitebeard's Moby Dick!"

A lookout shouted in panic.

"What?! Whitebeard?!"

Blood Axe Baro's face turned deathly pale instantly. The shadow of being kicked away by Gatz last time had not yet dissipated, and now he had actually encountered this group of monsters again.

"Quickly! Turn the ship around! Retreat!"

Barrow made a quick decision; he didn't want to experience the fear of being dominated by monsters again.

However, it's too late.

A clear, melodious cry descended from the sky, and a streak of azure fire fell like divine punishment, slamming heavily onto the deck of his flagship!

boom!

The deck was smashed open, leaving a huge hole, and wood chips flew everywhere.

The blue flames exploded, but instead of burning the ship, they turned into a shockwave that sent all the surrounding pirates flying.

As the flames subsided, Marco reappeared, half-crouching on the ground, his eyes bloodshot as he stared at the culprit who had destroyed his family.

"Barrow!"

Marco's voice was hoarse with anger.

"What...what are you?!"

Barrow looked at the boy in front of him, whose body was engulfed in blue flames, and was so frightened that he retreated repeatedly.

"The person who wants your life!"

Marco roared, his legs enveloped in blue flames, and with a powerful leap, he shot towards Barrow like an arrow!

"Phoenix Seal!"

His legs were covered with a layer of solid Armament Haki, which intertwined with the blue flames, transforming into a deadly kick.

"Asshole! Don't underestimate me!"

Barrow was also enraged, and he swung his giant axe, hacking hard at Marco's kick.

clang!

The axe and the leg collided with a loud crash in mid-air.

A tremendous force came from his leg, and Barrow felt a numbness in his arm as the giant axe slipped from his grasp.

Immediately afterwards, the foot burning with blue flames was firmly imprinted on his chest.

puff!

Barrow spat out a mouthful of blood, his massive body flying backward again, crashing into the mainmast and breaking it in half.

"Boss!"

Upon seeing this, the surrounding pirates roared and charged towards Marco.

A cold glint flashed in Marco's eyes. He spread his arms, and his blue flame wings stretched out once more.

"Flame of Rebirth - Flying Feather!"

Countless feathers made of blue flames shot out like sharp blades, accurately striking each of the pirates who rushed at them.

The pirates were not injured after being hit. Instead, they felt a warm power flow into their bodies, instantly losing all their strength, collapsing to the ground, and falling into a deep sleep.

Marco clearly couldn't perfectly control his abilities. He intended to severely injure his enemy, but unexpectedly unleashed the healing properties of the Phoenix Flame, dismantling the enemy's fighting power in a peculiar way.

He ignored the ragtag soldiers and walked step by step toward Barrow, who lay fallen beneath the mast.

Barrow struggled to stand up, but the sharp pain in his chest prevented him from moving.

He looked at the boy who was walking towards him like a god, and for the first time, fear showed in his eyes.

"No...don't kill me...I'll give you all my treasure..."

Marco didn't speak, but simply raised his fist, which was burning with blue flames.

Just as he was preparing to avenge his teacher and the villagers and end the villain's life, a huge hand gently pressed down on his shoulder.

It's Newgate.

He had somehow gotten onto the ship.

"That's enough, Marco."

Newgate's voice was calm and gentle.

“Killing him will not bring your family back to life; instead, it will taint your hands with the same filth as his.”

"But……"

Marco's eyes were filled with resentment.

"There are many ways to take revenge."

Newgate looked at him with deep eyes.

“Let him live, let him live forever in fear of you, let him dream of today’s blue flames every time he closes his eyes. This is a crueler punishment than killing him outright.”

"and……"

Newgate grinned, revealing a set of white teeth.

"We haven't taken the treasure from this ship yet."

Marco slowly loosened his fist, and the flames in his eyes gradually died down.

He looked at Newgate, then at the figures waving at him from the Moby Dick in the distance, and the deep-seated hatred in his heart seemed to have been diluted quite a bit.

He knew that he was no longer alone.

He has a new family.

Half an hour later, Blood Axe Baro's pirate crew was completely looted.

All the treasure, food, and drinks from the three ships were moved to the Moby Dick.

As for Barrow and his men, they were stripped naked, tied together with seaweed, and left to fend for themselves on their dilapidated ship.

A grand welcome banquet is being held on the deck of the Moby Dick.

With the fresh ingredients he had just captured, Raine prepared a feast so lavish that even the gods would drool.

Marco sat next to Newgate, looking somewhat reservedly at the group of eccentric family members before him.

While stuffing a huge piece of roasted meat into his mouth, Gatz was slurring his words as he boasted about his spoils of the day (even though he hadn't actually done anything).

Dorum, holding a new design, excitedly discussed with Silver how to use the newly acquired treasure to add a pineapple-shaped figurehead made of pure gold to the Moby Dick.

Newgate handed a large wine glass to Marco with a warm smile on his face.

“Come, Marco, drink this. From today onward, you are my son, and we are your family.”

Marco looked at his still somewhat childish face reflected in the glass, then at the sincere and warm smiling faces around him, and his eyes welled up slightly.

He picked up the wine glass and drank it in one gulp.

The spicy liquor went down my throat, but brought an unprecedented warmth.

"Yes, Dad! Yes!"

A cry of "Dad!" echoed throughout the entire sea.

The festivities continued late into the night, gradually subsiding as the rum ran out and Gatz began to snore.

The newly joined member, Marco, after being repeatedly plied with several large glasses of wine by Newgate and Gats, leaned dizzily against the mast with his signature pineapple-shaped head, wearing a silly, happy smile on his face, as if he had integrated into a new family.

The following morning, as the first rays of sunlight pierced through the clouds and cast golden light onto the deck of the Moby Dick, a new day began in a way very characteristic of the Whitebeard Pirates.

"Oh, oh, oh, oh! Daddy! Again!"

Gatz's roar was like thunder, accompanied by the sharp whistling of the anchor breaking through the air.

His massive body leaped high into the air, whipping the enormous anchor into a black tornado, which crashed down upon the mountain-like figure in the center of the deck.

Newgate didn't even get up, remaining seated cross-legged, simply extending a finger lazily.

"Too slow, Gatz."

Ding!

A crisp, disproportionately soft sound.

That powerful blow, capable of shattering mountain rocks, crumbled instantly upon contact with Newgate's seemingly ordinary finger.

Chapter 105 Marco's Abilities

An invisible shockwave surged upstream along the anchor, and Gatz felt an irresistible force. He was thrown out along with the anchor, tracing a perfect parabola in the air.

"Dorum! Catch me!"

Gatz screamed desperately in mid-air.

In the corner, Dorum, who was carefully wiping the ship's rudder with a piece of deerskin, turned pale upon hearing this.

He rolled to the side, scrambling on his hands and feet, letting out a mournful wail: "Don't come any closer! My new guardrail! It was just replaced yesterday!"

Boom!

With a loud bang, Gatz's massive body slammed solidly against the port side railing.

The railing, crafted by Ironwall Dorum from refined steel mixed with shape memory alloy and touted as being able to withstand artillery fire from a lieutenant general, was smashed into a clear human-shaped dent with a sickening twisting sound.

"Oh no... I have to keep track of the expenses again..."

Dorum clutched his head, feeling as if his heart, like that section of railing, had shattered.

"Goo la la la la!"

Newgate let out his signature laugh: "Gates, your strength has improved a lot, but your timing is still like that of a complete novice."

"Damn it! Again!"

Gatz climbed out of the crater, but instead of being discouraged, his fighting spirit was even stronger.

He rubbed his arm, which was numb from the impact, and was about to charge again when he suddenly felt a piercing pain in his right arm. Looking down, he saw that his wrist was twisted at a strange angle, obviously dislocated in the collision.

"Ouch... Dad, you hit too hard..."

Gatz grimaced, sweating profusely from the pain.

"Who told you to charge in like an idiot?"

Newgate chuckled and was about to get up to help him set the bone when a sleepy voice came from the side.

"I'll do it, yOi."

Marco walked over, yawning, and frowned slightly as he looked at Gatz's twisted wrist.

Gatz looked at the pineapple-headed boy who was much younger than him and asked with some doubt, "Are you sure you can handle this? I'm really tough."

Marco did not answer, but simply extended his right hand, and in his palm, a cluster of blue flames, seemingly possessing life, quietly ignited.
