"What an idiot I am," Mortarion thought, "that I would actually wrestle with a Titan."

He felt his body was heavy, his eyelids were twitching, and blood was flowing from the corner of his mouth.

But he struggled to his feet; he was resilient and stood firm!

This is the Death Guard!

P.S.: The psionic titans can be large or small, which is quite strange.

Chapter 1:

Chapter 159 (Chapter 152) Go give Mortarian two slaps!

Mortarian gasped for breath, feeling seven of his ribs broken. In this vast space, he heard rustling sounds around him and saw the psionic titan hurtling toward him, intent on delivering a fatal blow.

Mortarion stood up, his scythe gripped tightly in his hand. Heavy breathing escaped his lips. With the body of an Imperial demigod, he had dodged the attack of the psionic titan. Warhounds and Death Guards occupied the terrain and converged from all directions, using their meager firepower to try to save the Primarch from the psionic titan.

"Heavy firepower."

"Motalian spoke," he said.

The knights were high in the sky; even a Titan would need a considerable amount of time to descend. Mortarion felt as if his arm was broken. He slumped his shoulders, watching as a Leman Russ charged towards him like a warrior.

The psionic titan was indeed drawn to the warhounds. Mortarion slowly rose to his feet, unlike the Death Guardians who were accustomed to dying in silence.

The furious roar was the last trace of the war hounds' existence.

Buzz! Period

Oedipus rode a motorcycle to Mortalian's side. Although he couldn't understand why the Death Guard separated the armored forces from the infantry, the War Hounds, as the only ones with armored units, were holding the psionic titan back tightly.

Since Angron's return, they have never lost so many people as they have today.

"Your Highness Mortarian! Get in the carriage!"

Oedipus roared. Nine

Motalian didn't mince words; he simply got on Oedipus's motorcycle.

"War Hound, can you send me there?"

"Motalian asked, his gaze fixed on the raging psionic titan in the distance, now the size of a knight. If that's the case," Mortalian gripped his scythe, "then it still has a chance."

"What?"

Oedipus was baffled by the Fourteenth Legion's leader's thought process. At this moment, his mission was to take Mortarion away, not to send the Primarch to his death!

"I'm sorry... Your Highness, I..."

Oedipus opened his mouth, but before he could finish speaking, Mortalian impatiently reached out and pulled him off the car. Oedipus flew down from the air and landed on the ground.

Various curses flooded Oedipus's mind. Before he could even get up from the ground, he saw Mortarian start the motorcycle, and dust flew directly onto Oedipus's helmet.

"......"

Oedipus watched Mortalian charge like a Don Quixote, and he really wanted to grab Mortalian's shoulders and shout at him.

That's Titan, not a windmill!

Mortarion knew that dealing with one Titan required another Titan to deal with it, and since there were no Titans here, he, the Imperial demigod, had to step in to stop them.

"Tersus! Order the war hounds and death guards to retreat!"

Mortarian issued the order over the communication.

"Your Highness, we apologize, but we will attract the Titans for you!"

"Thus replied in the communication," Mortarian said in silence. "This is the best way, and only in this way will his chances be the greatest." Mortarian calculated in his mind using numerology, predicting the trajectory of the psionic titan. His brain kept calculating what the titan would do next.

As he watched the Warhounds' armored forces crumble into wreckage, and saw the warriors scorched by flames and roaring in fury, Mortarian closed his eyes. The moment the psionic titan turned its head, the opportunity Mortarian had been waiting for finally arrived. He abandoned his blue and white motorcycle, leaped high into the air, and the scythe in his hand gleamed with a cold, sharp edge!

Nine bangs!

Amidst the expectant gazes of the crowd, Mortarion was once again blasted away by a psionic force. They saw Mortarion crash into a nearby building. The Death Guards fired their weapons as they made their way to the spot where Mortarion had fallen, where smoke filled the air and Mortarion's fate remained unknown.

Lin Oedipus and several Terran veterans also went along. As Space Marines, they knew the importance of a Primarch to the Legion. They ran wildly down the road, completely unaware that the psionic Titan had its dark cannon pointed at them.

4 Oedipus felt death, but he felt no fear or unease. He saw Erron dragging his wounded body away, and he saw the muzzle of the psychic Titan's cannon.

Oedipus stopped in his tracks, he could feel his own breathing, and he raised the bolt-action lance in his hand.

"call."

"For the Legion's Supreme Leader and His Highness Angron!!!!"

The bolter fired, slamming directly into the psionic titan's shield. Oedipus's expression beneath his helmet was extremely ferocious.

I'm sorry, Lord Angron!

Oedipus thought to himself.

boom!

Just when Oedipus thought he was doomed, he saw a Stormbird fall straight down from the sky. It was blue and white, and countless shells crashed down from the sky, along with several spaceships.

Oedipus, get out of there!

Lu Heng's electronic voice reassured Oedipus, and then he saw the first Stormbird crash directly into the Psionic Titan. The Void Shield activated, followed by the second, the third, and so on, until the fifth crashed into the Psionic Titan.

"All personnel! This is Angron, and I am now in command!"

Angron spoke in a muffled voice over the communicator, his eyes unusually cold as he looked at the mangled war hounds lying on the ground.

"I want the nail, I'll kill it with my bare hands!"

Are you fucking an idiot?! That's a psionic titan, the Ash Wolves and the Storm Legion are already...

[Damn it! I'll switch to a different mech the moment you die! Lotara Salin, sail the Redemption to the coordinates I gave you. Angron, you rescue Mortarion first!]

[Have Margo steer the Hound's Fang to the designated location!]

[Kahn! Gale, evacuate those Death Guard bastards! No matter what method you use!]

[Motalian isn't dead! That piece of trash can still move! Angron, go slap him twice and wake the hedgehog up! ̄ [4-fold "*Purchase: "¤泤壹'≥℃↓¨÷欺|"釟"伶了!]

With each command Lu Heng issued, Angron gripped the War Roar in his hand and ran toward the ruins.

The moment the psionic titan spotted Angron and made a move, a cannonball exploded directly above him, followed by a second, a third...

The tremendous noise left the Death Guards speechless. What kind of fighting style was this?

Volume 1: Chapter 160 (Chapter 153) Unit 2! Charge!

Snapped!

Am I dead?

Snapped!

A sizzling sound rang in Mortarian's ears. He smelled the gunpowder and heard a roar that seemed to be muffled by something. The heavy breathing made Mortarian open his eyes, but what greeted him was Angron's huge hand.

Snapped!

Mortarian instantly sobered up, staring blankly at Angron, who was still trying to hit him.

He's awake!

"You're awake, my brother!"

Angron awkwardly withdrew his hand, a slight smirk on his face, but his expression was unusually grave.

But Mortarian couldn't see Angron's expression. He touched his face and, apart from the pain in his arm, noticed that his breathing mask had disappeared at some point. When Mortarian looked closely, he saw that the breathing mask on Angron's face was none other than his own.

"call!"

"Motalian, rise!"

7. "You can't die here!"

Angron roughly pulled Mortarian up. Mortarian felt intense pain all over his body. His bones were already broken, and with Angron's yank, Mortarian could feel his bones shatter completely.

Mortarian took a deep breath. He felt slightly disoriented after losing his breathing apparatus. He could feel the smoke swirling wildly in his nostrils. When his mind was fully clear, he saw the psionic titan in the center of the arena.

The war is still ongoing.

"Your people have begun an orderly retreat. I'm glad you didn't die."

Sianglong helped Mortarian up.

"I've gotten used to facing death."

“Who isn’t? Death is no good thing, my brother. Look at the state you’re in now. I’m going to kill that thing.”

Angron stared at the psionic titan in the center of the arena, rendered immobile by the cannonballs, his thick void shield being worn down. He then turned to look at Mortalian.

"You can still fight?"

"Are you doubting me?"

In response to Angron's questioning, Mortarian countered with a question.

“I admire the Death Guard’s tenacity. Your guards, those death shrouds, using their own lives to delay that Titan—I think you and Guilliman are somewhat similar.”

As he spoke, Angron removed the respirator from his face and placed it on Mortarion's face.

Mortarian sensed that the place was already empty, and he felt that it would have been better if Angron hadn't been returned to him at all.

“You are the lords of the legion, not some soldiers fighting on the front lines,”

Angron patted Mortalian on the back, then watched helplessly as blood seeped from Mortalian's ventilator.

"It's okay."

"Ahem, it's okay."

Motalian smelled the rust in the ventilator. He felt that Angron wanted to kill him, but Angron had saved his life. So he chose to remain silent.

Angron shoved the scythe into Mortarion's hand, a grin spreading across his face.

"I don't think we've worked together before. I hope we can have a pleasant collaboration in the future."

"By the way, we'll settle the matter of my offspring's sacrifice later, Ger! Kahn!"

Angron roared through the communication, leaping directly from the top of the building. He screamed for his offspring as they died.

'Thirteenth team, have reached the designated position!'

Kahn replied over the radio, standing on the Angron Giant Axe, the tank's engine roaring powerfully, while Kaggs stood to the side holding the flag of the Thirteenth Squadron, as the steel torrent surrounded them from all sides.

After sensing the aerial attack weaken, the Titan, which had transformed into the size of a knight, started its engines and tried to escape from the crater it had been smashed into.

If the Titan is an elephant, then the Warhounds are an ant colony!

Countless vehicles swarmed to different locations under Lu Heng's command, taking the Death Guards with them along the way.

Oedipus stared silently at Ehrlen, whose face was covered in blood.

They were aboard a heavy Land Raider, with Tersus and Garo from the Seventh Company beside them.

Both sides remained silent.

"This is Governor Gel the Warhounds. I am now in command. I don't care who you are, Warhounds or Death Guards."

Gol's voice rang out in everyone's communication channels. He now hated the Death Guard to the extreme. Such a huge sacrifice had never happened since the return of Angron. This should have been avoided, but he did not complain too much. Although those brothers were crushed like insects, now these insects were going to crush that Titan!

"From now on, I will only issue orders; you only need to carry them out! If you have any other ideas, you can leave." 8%

'Remember, our mission is to cover the two princes and avenge our brothers and cousins!'

After saying that, Ger hung up the call.

In the distance, Mortarion slid down from the ruins and came to Angron's side.

"What are you going to do?"

Mortarian asked with a hint of curiosity.

"Stay behind me, I need you."

Angron looked at Mortarian, which evoked a complex mix of emotions in Mortarian. Finally, he nodded.
