Mr. Freeze wanted to pull his foot out, but he felt a tingling sensation.

The infrared glasses showed a danger signal, and external electric current was spreading along his armor.

What's more dangerous is that after Mr. Freeze noticed a box of cargo on a high platform in the distance, two masked thugs came out, each carrying a rocket launcher on their shoulders.

The two Rocket Thugs were standing on high ground, and Mr. Freeze was temporarily unable to move. His weapon was stuck at an angle and he couldn't hit them.

Victor's heart gradually grew cold, and he decided to fight.

Mr. Freeze raised his left hand and wanted to press the button on his right forearm, but a bullet suddenly fired and hit his raised left hand accurately, interrupting his action.

The Penguin's evil laughter was heard not far away. Victor looked up and saw a man aiming at this side with smoke coming out of the muzzle of his gun.

Action was restrained...

Victor's heart grew even colder.

The bazooka thug had already aimed his gun here, and he didn't think his armor could withstand such a heavy weapon.

Just before everything was about to end, the ceiling above the two Rocket thugs suddenly shattered.

A black figure dropped from the sky, and Batman landed between two thugs. He grabbed the weapon of one thug, kicked him away in the abdomen, and then swung the stolen rocket launcher at the head of the other thug like a stick.

After knocking down two thugs in an instant, Batman dropped his weapon and jumped to the edge of the platform.

"Surrender." Batman is alone, but his momentum is like that of thousands of troops.

The sudden appearance of a third party caused the firepower of both sides to stop temporarily. Although the Penguin and his men still aimed their guns at Mr. Freeze, they looked at Batman vigilantly.

"Look, this is really an old acquaintance! You came at the right time!" Cobblepot sat behind the bunker and shouted to Batman, "I haven't avenged Christmas yet! Bat-brother!"

At Christmas, Batman beat up the Penguin in order to track down the whereabouts of Black Mask.

"None of you can escape." Batman said firmly.

"I'm going to say it again." The Penguin Man clapped his chubby little hands.

In the distance, a mountain of boxed fish packages collapsed like an avalanche, and an armored man carrying a frozen backpack climbed out.

He was holding a broomstick-like freezing gun, which was obviously fully charged, and immediately shot at Batman the moment he appeared.

The speed is so fast that a normal person would not have time to dodge.

Batman didn't make any unnecessary movements. He raised his right hand and caught the water shooting towards him with the front of his palm.

Theoretically, his overconfident behavior should have been frozen directly.

But Batman's black gloves flashed orange light, and the water received in his hands really vaporized like ordinary water.

Only occasionally a few small pieces of ice that had frozen in advance would jump onto the chest with the bat logo painted on it.

Batman wasn't frozen, but the Penguin's smug smile was.

He had guessed that Batman would come, and deliberately let this guy with a new weapon hide here, intending to take down his old enemy in one fell swoop.

He even thought of how to taunt Batman after he was frozen into ice.

The plan was perfect, but something went wrong at the first step.

"It's just a little trick." Batman sighed in his heart about the excellent quality of Ms. V's products. Then he jumped down from the high platform, and the minions around him trembled in fear.

"Don't be afraid, there's only one bastard!" The Penguin shouted the lines of the trash fish and pointed the umbrella at Batman.

The Penguin's thugs followed suit and raised their guns at Batman, not even caring about Mr. Freeze who was still trying to break free.

"Idiot! Keep an eye on him!" Noticing that everyone around him turned around, the Penguin Man angrily hit the head of his subordinate on the right with his umbrella stick.

But it was too late. Mr. Freeze, who had been afraid to act rashly for fear of being interrupted, immediately seized the opportunity. His left fingers slid across the last semicircle on his right forearm.

Then, white steam came out of Mr. Freeze's body like a smoke bomb, and even Cobert, who was still keeping a safe distance from him, felt the temperature dropping sharply.

Batman reacted quickly and threw an orange-glowing dart in Mr. Freeze's direction.

In the white mist, all the display devices on Mr. Freeze's body lit up blue light, and he turned his entire body into a magazine that gathered energy.

At this level, the tiny thermal energy bat dart was obviously ineffective. The orange dart hit Victor's armor and then bounced off.

"Let's start with you, Cobblepot!" Mr. Freeze raised two long guns like cannon barrels and pointed them in the direction where the Penguin's voice came from.

"Retreat!" The Penguin ran faster than he shouted.

The white mist quickly filled the entire room, and the water stream sprayed from Mr. Freeze's cannon did not seem to change in caliber, but no one dared to treat it as the same as before.

The water flow moved with the movements of Mr. Freeze, quickly condensing into a large iceberg in the spacious warehouse, and the white steam even caused a strong wind.

Batman used his cape to protect his chin to avoid irreversible damage.

The white mist was swirling, the temperature seemed to be freezing, and the world seemed to have fallen back into the Ice Age in an instant.

Batman put down his cape. The air was painfully cold and his nose felt dry and sticky. He must have frozen the water vapor.

With detective vision, Batman could see an iceberg appearing in front of him that spanned the entire warehouse, protecting the ice storage like the Great Wall.

A fat, one-eyed face was right in front of Batman. The Penguin's body was frozen in the ice. He twisted his neck back and forth, struggling hard.

Cobblepot looked levelly at Batman. He was not that tall, and he must have jumped up to escape Mr. Freeze's freeze ray, but he was still frozen below the neck.

Other unlucky people may even have their entire bodies frozen.

"Um... uh, Batman, there seems to be some misunderstanding between us..." Looking at Batman who was so close to him, Penguin trembled and showed a flattering smile, "Can you help me?"

NO46. Gotham Corpse Hunter

Batman ignored the Penguin. He walked to a place much farther away from the head and pressed his gloves, which were glowing orange, against the ice wall.

The ice wall was melting rapidly, but Batman was still somewhat dissatisfied.

Perhaps it was because the contact area was too small and the melting speed was too slow. At this speed, Mr. Freeze might have gotten what he wanted long ago.

We should call V over... maybe she can make faster props with her super powers.

"Bat buddy...are you trying to break the ice?" The Penguin's voice was very friendly and enthusiastic. "Maybe you should go to the freezing laboratory. There may be useful props there."

Batman put down his hand and looked at the guy who had just shouted that he would pay the price.

"Oh, look at your expression. Don't be so serious. We can still be friends..." Seeing Batman's serious chin, Penguin felt a little embarrassed. "It's the freezing laboratory in this building. That's Brother Boyle's secret garden. I think Brother Freeze also crawled out from there."

Batman didn't say anything else, he turned and ran outside.

……

With a knife at his neck, Boyle trembled as he opened the door to the ice storage in the secret room.

"Is it my illusion...it seems to be colder here..." Boyle rubbed his arms.

Although it is nonsense to say that the ice storage is very cold, it is a bit too abnormally cold now.

"Stop talking nonsense!" Nisha hit Boyle's neck with the handle of the knife, scaring the old man to speed up.

Compared to the warehouse outside, the inside of the ice storage was not very big, but it could accommodate a lot of people. Boyle led these thinly dressed assassins to a huge metal sealed box in the middle.

"Here, this is the Sleeping Beauty that Victor asked me for." Boyle pointed tremblingly at the box in front of him.

"Open it," Nissa ordered.

It must be the water of Lazarus if it is packed in such a big sealed box! These ignorant people only know how to store precious things in this way.

Boyle wanted to explain again that there was really no spring water in it, but feeling the coldness on the back of his neck, he said nothing.

It was very easy for Victor to enter the ice storage, but the reason why he had to ask Boyle to come was because he needed Boyle's voiceprint in order to open the sealed box without damaging the things inside.

Boyle entered the number into the combination lock on the box and then uttered a trembling "ah".

The machine seemed to be awakened, and under the expectant gaze of Nisha and others, an ice coffin rose from the center of the machine.

...

Valerie drove her beloved Excalibur on the streets of Gotham, with Siwa, who was tied up, sitting next to her.

Ms. Shiva explained the whole story to Valerie without reservation, hoping that Valerie would spare her life so that they could deal with the traitor first.

Valerie was originally planning to go to Gotham Corporation, and she didn't intend to bring Siva with her, but she suddenly thought that if she accidentally killed someone, it seemed that she could put the blame on Siva.

Valerie wants to eliminate the trouble once and for all and get rid of the Penguin to prevent this guy from causing trouble for her again and again, but she doesn't want to have a bad relationship with Batman before getting the money. Ms. Shiva is simply a tool delivered to her door.

Miss V praised her own wisdom.

She didn't leave any seats for other assassins. If those guys want to go to Gotham Corporation, they have to find a way themselves!

Ms. Siva was tied up tightly and couldn't even move. She could only look at Miss V with a gloomy face, smiling brightly, and dared not speak.

The moon was still hidden under the dark clouds, and the light shining on the cars at high speed was from the street lamps.

The Sword in the Stone finally stopped at the door of Gotham Corporation. The sudden braking brought up a cloud of snow and dust. The high-tech car stunned the penguin thugs guarding the door.

These thugs were beaten up by Batman not long ago and have just woken up from their coma. They are waking up their colleagues who are lying on the ground one by one.

The car door opened wide, and an Asian woman who was tied up with a sour face was kicked out, and a blue-haired jewel-colored beauty got out from the other side.

"Good evening!" Valerie waved to the mob.

The thugs wanted to shout dutifully or flirt with the beauty, but suddenly a broken scream rang out from the group of thugs.

“This is that V!!!”

When the thugs heard these words, they were like frightened birds. They dropped their weapons and fled in all directions.

It's not their fault, after all, they were beaten by another famous urban legend not long ago.

The company's door, which had been fairly heavily guarded, was suddenly wide open.

Valerie froze. She originally wanted to use her tool man to wipe out this group of thugs and then smear the blood on Shiva's face.

"It seems that you do have some reputation." Shiva couldn't hold back his sullen face anymore and laughed.

"That's right!" Hearing Shiva's praise of her fame, Valerie raised her little nose proudly.

Then, Miss V led Siwa with a rope and kicked open the glass door of Gotham Company.

The first thing I felt after entering the gate was cold, much colder than outside.

The second thing is that there are huge ice blocks everywhere, even the door is sealed.

There is a bar in front of me. This should be the lobby, but I don’t know where Batman is.

Valerie thought about it with her smart brain and felt that Mr. Freeze must be staying in the coldest place, after all, he looked like he was wearing a refrigerator.

Valerie blinked once, activated the scan, and then blinked twice more.

The scanner has multiple modes, namely normal scanning, sound and thermal imaging.

Originally, the only way to switch modes in the game was when looking at Mewtwo, but after Valerie's crossing, that was no longer necessary.

Compared to the first two, thermal imaging scanners are much easier to understand.

Valerie glanced around. She knew that thermal imaging was not reliable in a room, but it was better than wandering around aimlessly.

When the time comes, find a computer and check the surveillance.

There were many doors in the hall, which should lead to different directions, all blocked by ice. Valerie looked at the door with a larger green area in the thermal imaging field of view.

The darker the color, the colder the object, but if the green ripples are larger, it proves that the room behind the door is colder.

Under Shiva's astonished gaze, Valerie pulled out a rocket launcher from her pocket that was taller than her and blasted open the frozen door with one shot.

Ice chips and dust flew everywhere. Not only was the ice blown apart, but the door behind the ice was also enlarged.

Valerie took the lead and walked forward, the rope in her hand connected to the neck of the tool man Siwa.

With her legs tied together, Shiva couldn't move normally, so she could only hop on her legs like a zombie to keep up, and this ungraceful way of moving made her look even uglier.

NO47. You are like a ghost

Valerie was strolling around Gotham Company, holding a randomly picked up notebook in her left hand and holding Siva's hand with her right hand.

She didn't see anyone familiar on the laptop's surveillance, whether it was Batman or the Penguin, they might be in a blind spot or a place where the surveillance was damaged.

Valerie moved towards the rooms showing the damaged surveillance. To be honest, there weren't many of them. The farther one was a warehouse, and the closer one seemed to be a laboratory.

Adhering to the principle of proximity, Valerie first walked towards the laboratory.
