I swung a sword at Hogwarts

He knocked on the door, but no one answered.
Just when John was thinking about whether he should sneak in, the tightly closed door suddenly opened.
The trembling old man looked thin, with silver-white hair. He was surprised when he saw John.
"You are finally here. Please come in and have a cup of tea. I remember the tea leaves are in the cabinet."
As the old man spoke, he opened the door and let John in. He talked to himself, like an old man with a poor memory.
"Please wait a moment. I still need to look for a book."
John walked in and saw a lot of things around him.
There were many silver objects on the table, some of which looked like tweezers and some that looked like silver chopsticks.
John sat inside, and the teapot beside him jumped out by itself. The tea can opened and tea leaves flew out of it and jumped in.
The teapot shook its round body, and a stream of clear water appeared out of nowhere.
As the teapot is shaken, the water and tea leaves inside change, and a pot of freshly brewed black tea is ready.
John was very surprised to see that the teapot was full of traces of alchemy.
The old man seemed to be searching for something, with books placed on the ground or on the table.
Then he put them all into a handbag.
Even though so many books were put in, the handbag didn't change at all.
John knew that it was the use of the traceless extension spell.
After finishing everything, the old man stood there for a while with satisfaction before coming over.
"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting. These things have been away for so long that sometimes I can't even remember where I put them."
The old man stretched out his hand to shake hands with John. Seeing his trembling appearance, John also touched it lightly and carefully.
As soon as it was touched, the old man's hand felt as fragile as a cookie that had been left out for a long time, causing him to cry out in pain.
John was so scared that he thought he had been too harsh.
"It's okay." The old man looked at John's worried expression and said, "Hello John Wick, my name is Nicolas Flamel."
Nicolas Flamel, whom John had always been thinking about, appeared before him.
He didn't look well, at least in John's opinion, this body was on the verge of breaking.
"I should have taught you myself, but events this year delayed me for a long time. However, my diary tells me that you are very talented."
Nicolas Flamel handed the bag containing all the books to John with a smile on his face.
The diary was made by him personally. It not only had a projection of the young Nico, but also allowed remote communication with Nicolas Flamel.
These books were given to John by Nicolas Flamel, and they contained some of his notes and reflections after he became immortal.
John hesitated for a moment and said, "Is it because of the Philosopher's Stone?"
He is not a fool. Nicolas Flamel is now like he is giving his last words.
Judging from Dumbledore's action of announcing the destruction of the Philosopher's Stone, Nicolas Flamel should be about to end his immortality.
Nicolas Flamel shook his head and said with a smile: "Child, everyone will die. If it weren't for you, the Philosopher's Stone would have been destroyed in June."
He was indeed dying, and the elixir he left behind was only enough to last for one year.
This great alchemy legend who lived for 665 years was about to end his long life. If John had not appeared, he might not have thought of accepting a student.
Through Dumbledore's introduction and the information fed back from the diary, he felt that John was the most suitable person to inherit his legacy.
John felt a little disappointed. He thought he had finally found a teacher who could teach him alchemy, but he didn't expect that they would be separated as soon as they met.
This is the former home of Nicolas Flamel, who was to have lived out his life in seclusion in Devon.
After accepting the handbag, John felt even more depressed.
"Teacher, who is that person outside?"
Thinking of the man he met today, John asked his questions.
Nicolas Flamel smiled when he heard the title. Although they had just met, the two acted like teacher and student who had been together for a long time.
"That's a Death Eater. Even though Voldemort has been defeated, he's still watching for his next rebirth."
Nicolas Flamel's expression turned serious when that name was mentioned.
The old man had experienced two eras of the Dark Lord, and he knew very well that Voldemort's desire for immortality had become pathological.
Even though it has been twelve years since his fall, his followers are still searching for Nicolas Flamel, intending to resurrect their master.
Nicolas Flamel temporarily separated from his wife and returned to his old home in order to teach his student John.
John also lived with the teacher during the remaining vacation time.
He greedily absorbed the knowledge of alchemy. The old man's erudition was not limited to one field. He had a master-level understanding of runes, spells, and magical animals.
As time went by, John was like a sponge, absorbing everything.
Nicolas Flamel was very satisfied with this student. Alchemy required talent and a persistent and unfading pursuit of knowledge.
John possessed both of these qualities, and he saw a reflection of his own past in this student.
The same pursuit of alchemy and thirst for knowledge.
The Philosopher's Stone in John was destroyed.
With the only man in the world who could create the Philosopher's Stone by his side, John didn't feel it was a pity.
When time was running out, John knew it was time for him to leave.
"John, you are the most talented student I have ever met."
Nicolas Flamel is leaving, and he wants to be with his wife in his last days.
But teaching John a student also made him very happy and fulfilled. "The exploration on the road of alchemy will never stop. The Philosopher's Stone is not your end but your starting point."
He had already taught John how to refine the Philosopher's Stone. Standing on the shoulders of giants, John naturally saw higher, and Nicolas Flamel also had higher expectations of him.
By the time John became the new generation of alchemy giant, unfortunately Nicolas Flamel was already gone.
John hugged the teacher, his movements gentle and full of reluctance.
Nicolas Flamel, however, was very open-minded. He was not afraid of death. On the contrary, death was like working for a long time and finally having a place to lie down and sleep.
With the departure of Nicolas Flamel, John's journey in France came to an end.
John went to Beauxbatons and took out the diary.
Furong was reluctant to leave John, he was one of her few friends.
"Fleur, we will meet again, perhaps that time will not be in Beauxbatons, but in Hogwarts."
John grinned. He remembered that there seemed to be a plot where several schools competed with each other.
Beauxbatons is one of them.
It's not impossible that Fleur appeared as a student of Beauxbatons.
He handed a badge to Fleur.
Furong said reluctantly, "Remember to write to me. Your owl is a little fat. Let it exercise more."
The despised Basil was innocently caught in the crossfire.
John naturally agreed readily. After the two said goodbye, John came to the hiding place and wandered around the square. He finally found the drunk who was selling the portal.
After John left, the drunk was hung on the statue and his wand was thrown into the stinking ditch.
"You'll let me trick you!"
John was vindictive, and after being cheated out of three Galleons, he hung the drunk man on the hook for three days.
Chapter 43 The Dursleys and Bluff
"John, you're back. Your mother hasn't looked well these past few days."
John returned home after a month away. Watson was happy to see him back, but then he looked at the kitchen cautiously.
"You didn't do what you promised your mother, but I know you must have been delayed by other things."
Although Watson usually acts like a child, he is never confused about important things.
Mrs. Wick's mood was a big deal to him.
John felt heavy-hearted when he heard this, and he spent the last week studying at Nicolas Flamel's house.
The place was cast under a Fidelius Charm, and the owl couldn't find its location, so the letter-writing process that was required every week was not carried out.
This really pissed off Mrs. Wick. She seldom got angry, but when she did it was hard to appease her.
The last time Mrs. Wick was angry and had a cold war with Watson for a week, the result was that John could only live on bread with various dips.
John shuddered at the thought of Watson's poor craftsmanship.
Fortunately, he came back after making preparations. When he came to the kitchen, he saw Mrs. Wick, who had a cold face and was silent.
The beautiful and generous Mrs. Wick acted like a little girl when she was angry. John looked at her coldly and gave a flattering smile, and took out the perfume he bought in Paris from his suitcase.
"This is the perfume I bought for my mother in France."
John shamelessly started to act cute and looked at his mother pitifully.
Mrs. Wick was originally angry with John for not writing to her, but after seeing this scene, her anger subsided in less than three seconds.
However, as a mother, Mrs. Wick still criticized John harshly.
"Little John, you are still young. How can you forget to write a letter to your mother when you go to such a dangerous place in a foreign country by yourself?"
John accepted the criticism with a bow and nod, just like Watson.
Watson was watching from outside, showing a look of satisfaction that the boy was teachable.
After making his mother happy, Watson brought John a pile of letters before he returned to his room.
"These are all sent to you by your friends. It's just that one of the owls is so old that it has hit the mailbox several times."
Watson put the letter down and left because he heard Mrs. Wick's warning of danger because he was wearing leather shoes upstairs.
John opened the top letter, which was from Hermione. It listed a long list of books that Hermione had read during the holidays.
John picked out Hermione's letters and read them one by one. The last letter mentioned Harry. Hermione wrote to Harry but there was no response during this holiday.
After reading them, John picked up some others. There were letters from Ron and Hagrid, and even three from Malfoy.
He opened them all and read them one by one. Except for Malfoy's, all the others mentioned Harry.
They received no reply to the letters they sent to Harry, asking if John knew anything.
"Harry hasn't been captured by the Ministry of Magic?"
John thought about his magic going out of control that day and began to worry that Harry had been captured by the Ministry of Magic.
After all, he was the one who took the blame, so John decided to go and see what happened.
Hiding the unicorn hair wand at home, John walked downstairs with the wand.
By acting coquettishly, John got a freshly baked apple pie from Mrs. Wick.
After finding a random box to pack it up, John came to number 4 Privet Drive and knocked on the door.
"who is it?"
What a coincidence, a little fat man opened the door.
Dudley smelled apple pie and opened the door before his mother could.
I thought it was a big surprise that could make up for the feast ruined by Harry a few days ago. It turned out to be a big surprise, but the surprise was much bigger than the joy.
"It's you, John Wick!"
Dudley screamed loudly. The fat boy had quite a lot of lung capacity.
Petunia Dursley, who was originally wondering who it was, heard Dudley's scream and hurried out to check.
Seeing John, she had not forgotten that the child had appeared at King's Cross Station with Harry's group of wizard friends.
