i laughed.

things seemed to keep getting interesting.

"Cleo find where frank is right now"

"sure boss" she replied sass in her voice

"Alex?" she asked with a bit of fear in her voice

"what's wrong?" i asked a little worried although it was not shown in my voice

"max sent an SOS message from the school"

"What is he doing there?"

"it's Monday" she deadpanned.

right, it was Monday something that had slipped my mind

i was glad that i only a few steps away from the cafe.

i rushed in and swapped the coffee in jack's hand with Loki, "no time to explain" i said and rushed out

i drank the coffee as i ran to the school.

i wasn't sure if i regretting drinking it because it was really hot or because it was black coffee. ugh.

when i few feet away from the school i wasn't sure if i was dreaming or seeing things because of that bitter coffee

max immediately saw me and rushed to me.

"please tell me the school is not on fire," i said as refused to believe the facts in front of me.

"i would but then i would be lying," he said with a sad smile on his face

"we were late," i said as the building i had been studying in for only almost 2 months was now being engulfed by flames

"we were so d*mn late"
