"why didn't you save me?" she asked me

"why didn't you pull the trigger?" she asked as she looked at me

"why didn't you make them suffer for what they did to us?" she asked as looked at me with that smile on her face

"I am-" before I could finish she dissipated once again

"sorry" went unsaid as I saw the pitch-black world.

i opened my eyes.

staring at the ceiling of my room.

a dream. that's all it was. that's what it always was.

i got up not disturbing the asleep puppy beside me.

i took my phone. i noticed the letter by luna- no terra to luna.

terra. luna. prof stine.

they didn't deserve it and yet here we are seeing who reaches the end line first.

"thank you big brother" my mind added with her voice

I dropped my phone at that.

as I picked up my phone I thought, "prof stine bringing up my past really took a toll huh"

i went to my cupboard and wore a jacket that belonged to ace and left the apartment carrying loki.

i wore the earpiece

"cleo?"

"yes? you know it is too early to be awake"

"don't you mean too late to be awake"

"i have no idea what you mean" she said as i rolled my eyes

"cleo we both know you didn't sleep so cut to the chase and tell me the issue"

"i can't find out where prof stine is"

what did that mean i wondered

"did they somehow block you from being able the hack the cameras in town"

"in a way yes" she said

i finally stopped walking and noticed the issue

"all the cameras in the town have been broken" she said and i got to see it myself

it was broken. smashed to peices.

my phone beeped in my jacket pocket I took it out only to find a message form prof stine.

i laughed.

things seemed to keep getting interesting.
