maybe saying him to drink some tea might have not been a great idea, but I have never had to deal with a person going through a midlife crisis in my defense.

"dude let me be honest. I don't care about your family issues. I feel bad for you but I don't care."

if looks could kill I would have been dead a hundred times over.

"look, you and luna have killed two people. will you end up in jail? yes. but if you surrender now at least your sentence might decrease" I said trying to reason with a mentally unstable man

"one" he said

"what?" I asked confused

one what? i wondered

"only one. we killed only one"

"no, that is not possible. the first and the second victim died"

"no, only the second died by our hands"

this reveal was a bit shocking to me. was he lying? if he is lying, why lie about this? it might lessen their sentence but that doesn't change the fact that they killed someone.

"Which one did you not kill?"

"rose" he replied. was he lying? is the truth serum still working?

just more questions than answers

"why didn't you kill her?"

he didn't reply and I decided to not press into this anymore because the last thing I need is him shutting down

"prof stine you have two choices right now"

"you and luna surrender right now and I will help lessen the sentence."

"or i will catch both you and luna, and you will be sent to prison. without the lessening of the sentence"

"what do you think I will choose?" he asked a bit curious

"I don't know. i am not you" i replied

"mmmm" he looked at the table. there was nothing much left, only his teacup as he had previously thrown the teapot

he came close to me to shake hands "I think I will accept.."

i caught his hand for the shake

"neither", he said and immediately pulled my hand and kneed my stomach

i landed on the floor gasping for breath.

grabbing my stomach with one hand i got up to punch in his stupid face.

but before i could do anything he sprayed something at my face and i heard his voice before everything went black
