In the second playthrough of that game, you can catch the legendary birds, Lugia, Ho-Oh, etc., but the second playthrough doesn't involve as much; the main focus is on the first playthrough, which is very detailed. Although that game is twenty years old, it's one of the classic titles in its series. Contemporaries include Blastoise, Charizard, and Pikachu. That generation of games served as prototypes and foundations, and many later games share a similar basic framework.
