Chapter 2451 Main Text
Chapter 2356 of the main text

I said I'd continue talking about game-related things. There's already a lot of text in the Star Lotus story that hasn't touched on games because the author hasn't had much time to play games in recent years, and even when they have, it's never been as serious or focused as it used to be. There are games I haven't paid much attention to. This time, I felt it was worth recording, so I ended up writing more than planned. I had to cut back on other plot points, but the things the author wanted to say still need to be said. Some things will be reiterated, and some will be given more detail.

Jin Huyue agreed, saying it was good to hear Mengsheng recount his real life in the mortal world. He felt that some things were worth recording so that he could recall those things in the future.

I was talking about that game console. After buying it, I used it multiple times, copying files from my gaming laptop to the 128GB memory card, upgrading its original configuration. It now uses the maximum capacity external memory card available for that console, unlike some recent phones that can use larger external memory cards. The configuration is incomparable. Many games from Endeavor seem pixelated to players familiar with Endeavor and other platforms, but some older games have excellent storylines and are still worth playing even now. The author had already played many classic Endeavor games on a netbook over a decade ago, so when I bought that console, I just used it briefly and then stopped. For over half a year, I barely used it. Before buying the console, I compared similar products on online shopping platforms and chose the most affordable one. After buying it, I left it aside for over six months without using it much.

Some days, seeing articles on my browser about new Pokémon virtual pets makes me crave the games again. During the summer after graduating from elementary school, I asked my family to buy me a Pikachu virtual pet. The one they bought had a watch strap, which could be used as a toy watch, but it wasn't what I wanted. This year, I saw the new Pokémon Plus version, which wasn't cheap, and there wasn't a translated version yet. Some products are really annoying; they don't have built-in language translations. They say they don't do business in certain regions, but they still make a lot of money in those areas. Maybe they'll release a better, more affordable product. Not wanting to play on a laptop, tablet, or phone, I started playing on a handheld console, using the classic gameplay. The screen is relatively small, but that's okay.
