People tend to seek better things in their partners, desiring both superior resources and intimate companionship. This mismatch between supply and demand creates a predicament.

If one is too greedy, the excellent will become stingy and the mediocre will become weary of resources, and the supply to both sides will gradually decrease, making it almost impossible to have the best of both worlds.

The key to overcoming adversity lies in calming the mind and allowing the mountains to flourish: curb the desire to climb higher, lower your material demands, and the people you can choose from will naturally broaden; let go of unwarranted demands, and with a peaceful mind, warmth will naturally accompany you.

Only by ceasing delusional thoughts can one find the right opportunity; this is the ultimate principle of choosing a partner.
