Chapter 1102 Legolas's Carelessness Leads to His Demise!
"Next game? Is there a rehearsal for the next game?" Aragorn stared blankly at Roland.

"Hurry up!" Roland grabbed Aragorn, picked up the sack, and ran. Behind them, the town of Bystander was already ablaze with fire and wisps of black smoke, clearly visible in the night market.

"Fire!" Aragorn exclaimed excitedly.

"That was done by the orcs, it has nothing to do with us! Someone will take care of it!" Roland didn't even look behind him, just grabbed Aragorn and ran.

"Cuckoo, cuckoo!" Roland suddenly stopped and began to mimic bird calls as he gazed into the night.

"???" Aragorn was completely bewildered. Why did you stop running and start making bird calls?
“Here! Your Majesty!” Caslo’s voice rang out.

Roland pulled Aragorn along and followed. At that moment, Caslo was huddled in the roadside bushes like a thief, with two orcs under his feet, clearly having been waiting for a while.

"Why are there still two left?" Aragorn asked, puzzled.

"It'll be useful in a moment!" Roland said casually.

"Caslo, you can go call them now!" Roland nodded to Caslo.

“Alright! I’ll head out first, please bring your gifts and come back shortly! I’ll inform Marquis Al-Tegran-Franz in advance!” Caslow nodded.

"Getting it right!" Roland gave a thumbs up.

"Just wait!" Roland nodded to Aragorn and watched Caslo carry the two orcs away.

"Don't say a word! Just yell! Pay attention to my signals and act accordingly!" Roland instructed.

"Oh, right! Make sure you remember this! We're staying at the Green Dragon Tavern tonight because we rushed over here to check on the orc attack on Waterside Town! Don't let it slip when you come back!" Roland instructed.

"There are orcs!" Caslo's shout came from afar.

"Let's go!" Roland hoisted the sack and rushed out.

"..." Aragorn had no choice but to bite the bullet and charge forward.

……

"..." Marquis Al-Tegran Franz gently nudged Sorin.

"Hush! Let's begin!" Marquis Al-Tegran Franz whispered.

"It's started?" Thranduil, who had been feigning sleep, suddenly opened his eyes.

"What about Bard and White Wing?" Marquis Al-Tegran Franz frowned.

“They’re on the other side, I’ll go call them!” Thranduil nodded.

"There are orcs!" A shrill cry echoed through the night market. Marquis Al-Tegran Franz immediately recognized the voice as that of Caslo, who had just informed him of the operation.

"Go call Bilbo! He's the main character!" Marquis Al-Tegran Franz grabbed Thorin and rushed towards Bilbo's room. "Bang!" The door was pushed open, and Bilbo was dragged off the bed by Al-Tegran Franz.

“Something’s happened!” Al-Tegran Franz said succinctly.

"Slap!" Thorin slapped the spike into Bilbo's arms without saying a word.

"???" Bilbo Baggins didn't even have time to rub his sleepy eyes before Marquis Al-Tegran Franz dragged him out.

"Wake up, everyone! The orcs are attacking!" Caslow was still shouting energetically in Hobbiton. With his voice, oil lamps were lit in house after house, and one hobbit after another emerged with pitchforks and cleavers.

"What's going on?" The hobbits stared at each other in bewilderment.

In Hobbiton, two orcs deliberately released by Caslo were running around in terror. These wasteland orcs might be hard to defeat against normal humans (ordinary orcs are weaker than normal humans, which is quite bizarre!), but against hobbits, it was a complete annihilation. Without weapons, the halflings were no match for these orcs. After their initial panic, the orcs began to raid, or rather, they just broke into houses here and there, grabbing a stick or a hoe or something.

"Damn it! Orcs!" Bilbo looked at the glowing spikes in his hand and realized that what they had said outside was true! Orcs really had sneaked in!
That's why Roland had to tie up two orcs and throw them over. He and Aragorn were legitimate humans, and even with Doss's mental simulation disguise, they wouldn't trigger the elven magic runes! To avoid being exposed, Roland had no choice but to grab two orcs and throw them over.

"Roar!" Soon, two orcs rushed to Bilbo's doorstep. They swaggered over, each carrying a bulging sack, clearly intending to cross from Bilbo's house into the wilderness. (Bilbo's Bag End was at the end of the road, on the edge of the village!)
"Hey! Stop!" Bilbo Baggins roared, charging forward without hesitation and thrusting his sword at him.

"Swoosh!" The orc twisted his body to the limit, causing the sword to cut through the burlap sack. Immediately, a head of shiny, greasy hair peeked out from the tear, followed by half of a sleeping face.

"Stop! Put her down!" Bilbo Baggins's entire body surged with battle aura, his clothes fluttered, and the spikes in his hand slashed down like flashing bolts of lightning.

"Run!" Roland grabbed Aragorn, dropped the sack, and ran!

That's right, it was Roland and Aragorn passing by Bilbo's gate. Seeing Bilbo wide open, Roland unleashed a powerful downward slash, suppressing his urge to kick him, and pulled Aragorn away. After all, they were there to fulfill Bilbo's dream, not to get beaten up! A powerful downward slash is full of flaws, but if it hits, it's all good!

What? You're asking about Thranduil and the others? At this moment, Whitewing and Bard were silently blocking the doorway, trapping the bewildered Legolas and Dvalin inside, preventing them from getting out. Meanwhile, Marquis Al-Tegran Franz was frantically giving Thorin and Thranduil meaningful glances. Thranduil reacted quickly, drawing his scimitar and brandishing it wildly. Thorin rushed forward, brandishing his Orcrest but not quite understanding how to wield it. The two of them were openly putting on an act behind Bilbo, but in his rage, Bilbo didn't even realize that two Tier 6s were no match for him, a Tier 3.

"Whoosh!" A cold glint flashed, and the orc in the distance staggered, but unfortunately, he didn't fall! Al-Tegran Franz turned his head in shock, only to see Legolas drawing his bow and nocking an arrow!

"Chase!" Legolas grabbed his longbow and prepared to give chase.

"Stop chasing!" Thranduil's face twitched. He could only hope that the two were wearing armor and wouldn't be shot dead by his son.

"Why?" Legolas asked, puzzled. Just as he was about to chase after them, Thorin grabbed his hand. "We need manpower here! Go check if there are any survivors left in the village!" Thorin quickly interrupted, trying to distract Legolas.

"Oh! Anne! Be alright!" Bilbo Baggins had already untied the bag and carried Anne Boleyn out. Besides her, there was some bread and ironware in the bag. Obviously, Roland had placed it there carefully. After all, orcs wouldn't just rob a woman; it was normal to find food and ironware. Roland had considered this very well!

……

"Your Majesty..." Aragorn looked at Roland, who was pale-faced, in shock and at a loss for words.

“You look like you’re about to die!” Aragorn stammered.

"Legolas! I have lost your ancestors!" Roland knelt on the ground, spitting out a mouthful of blood as he spoke.
