Chapter 1103 Everyone's Acting

Chapter 1103 Everyone's Acting
"Cough cough!" As soon as Roland opened his mouth, blood flowed down his nose and the corners of his mouth.

"Heh heh!" Roland let out a sound of blood seeping through his trachea and a gurgling sound, clearly indicating that Legolas' arrow had pierced Roland's lung!
"Pull it out! Pull the arrow out!" Roland commanded, coughing up blood.

"No, no, no! You can't move! I'll go find someone to save you!" Aragorn stared helplessly at the seemingly dying King Lagrange, his hands and feet turning cold and trembling with fear.

"It's all over! It's all over!" Aragorn murmured, looking at Roland lying on the ground. They had only wanted to do a good deed and help Bilbo find his beloved, but unexpectedly, such a huge blunder had occurred. In addition, to maintain their agility, neither of them was wearing armor, and as a result, Roland had won the lottery! And the jackpot at that!

"Useless!" Roland coughed up blood and snapped the arrow shaft in two. Then, a faint golden light surged from his chest. Dos, who had shrunk to the size of a fist, activated the power of the Golden Holy Dragon, and wisps of healing light emanated from his entire body.

"Huff!" Roland suddenly sat up and tore open his chest to look at it. At this moment, the skin on his chest was smooth and delicate, without the slightest trace of injury!
"Gah!" Aragorn, who was grieving and at a loss, froze on the spot like a pheasant whose neck had been grabbed.

"Rip!" Without saying a word, Roland tore off his clothes, crumpled them up, and wiped them on his chest.

"Help me wipe the blood off your back!" Roland handed the rag to Aragorn and then turned around. His wheat-colored back was now covered in bloodstains. Aragorn quickly took the rag and began to wipe it off.

"Give me some water!" Roland turned around and took out a water bag.

With Aragorn's help, the bloodstains on Roland's body quickly disappeared completely. Roland then closed his eyes and sniffed.

"Damn it! Do elven arrows have tracking beacons attached?" This discovery made Roland's face darken. His dragon power surged instantly, quickly washing over every corner of his body. As the temperature rose, the water droplets on his body evaporated into a misty white fog!

"Solved! There was an elven beacon on that arrow! I just erased the beacon marking! It's all right now!" Roland breathed a sigh of relief.

"Alive?" Aragorn's eyes widened.

"???" Roland.

"Am I going to die too?" Roland asked in shock.

"Wouldn't they die like that?" Aragorn retorted.

"Don't you Dúnedan people have priests?" Roland glared at Aragorn.

The two stared at each other, finally realizing they were definitely not on the same wavelength. Roland's gaze towards Aragorn was filled with pity. What kind of family was this?! Even a nomadic tribe like the Whitewings had priests and shamans—spellcasters! And you, the dignified chieftain of the Dúnedan, don't even have a priest in your tribe? Are you just going to tough it out when you're injured?

"By the Dragon God! How pitiful!" Roland exclaimed.

"Boom!" Flames suddenly erupted from his hand, and Roland burned the blood-stained clothes and arrows to ashes.

“Let’s go! Do you remember what we said earlier? Where are we tonight?” Roland asked, reciting their statements.

"Green Dragon Tavern!"

"Why did you come back now?" Roland continued.

"Because of the discovery of the orc invasion... Your Majesty Roland, are you sure you are in good condition?" Aragorn looked at Roland's pale face with concern.

“This is hard to explain, isn’t it? Such a severe deficiency of qi and blood…” Aragorn said worriedly.

"Sigh..." Roland sighed and gritted his teeth as he spoke with difficulty.

“If Bilbo and the others ask… just say I ordered four tonight!” Roland closed his eyes. My reputation!

"Four???" Aragorn scratched his head. ...

"Holy crap! Your son didn't get...shot to death, did he?" Bard was also a sharpshooter, with top-notch eyesight. He and Thranduil both saw the ruthlessness of Legolas's arrow; it was clearly aimed at his death! Now Thranduil could only sigh inwardly! The rest was up to fate!

"I don't know... I hope nothing bad will happen? They should be wearing armor, right?" Thranduil and Bard muttered to themselves.

"What happened?" Although Whitewing saw Legolas shoot an arrow, his eyesight wasn't as good as the other two, so he couldn't see clearly. He only knew that Roland and Aragorn had run away.

“It hit!” Thranduil said bitterly.

"Hit? What? Hit...hit!" Bai Yi's eyes practically popped out of their sockets. You guys are serious! You're really using those two as target practice?! Are you treating those two lords like orcs?!

……

"Oh! Anne!" On the other side, Bilbo was completely absorbed in his own world. He held Anne Boleyn in his arms, his eyes filled with worry and love. All his past cowardice and struggles had turned to ashes. He held the unconscious Anne Boleyn tightly and called her name softly again and again.

“…Bilbo…Lord Baggins?” Anne Boleyn quietly opened her eyes. After all, Roland had only knocked her unconscious, not killed her, and Bilbo Baggins woke up early after howling for a while.

“Oh my god? Where am I?” Anne Boleyn looked around and realized she was not in the Green Dragon Tavern she knew.

"This is my home! Bag End! You were kidnapped by orcs, and I rescued you!" Bilbo said affectionately, his thorn still sheathed, leaning against the bedside. It was no longer glowing, meaning the two orcs had been dealt with!
“My hero!” Anne Boleyn cried, trembling as she threw herself into Bilbo’s arms.

"..." Bilbo, at a loss, could only stand there awkwardly with his arms outstretched, letting Anne Boleyn wail in his arms. He wanted to comfort her but didn't know where to put his hands; after all, she had woken up, and Bilbo's introverted side had once again taken over the reins of his intelligence.

"Alright, the orcs have been dealt with. I'll take you home!" That was all Bilbo managed to manage to say after all that time.

"Ahem! I think it's unnecessary! It's too dangerous outside! What if there are orcs in the wilderness? What if By the Water Town is attacked again? It's not always possible to be lucky enough to run into an orc passing by your door!" Thorin quickly stepped forward and said righteously.

"Yeah, yeah! It's too dangerous!" The people who had been listening at the foot of the wall for a while suddenly chimed in.

“Thorin is right! You shouldn’t let a beautiful lady risk her life in the dark!” Thranduil slammed his hat down on her.

“That’s right! You’re a man! How can you not protect her? What will happen to her if we leave?” Bard said thoughtfully.

"Hey! I have an idea!" Bai Yi clapped his hands.

"You have a plan too?" Thranduil chimed in, playing the straight man.

"Is Ms. Anne married?" Bai Yi asked.

“…” Annie Bolin shook her head, completely bewildered.

“That would be wonderful! Bilbo is all alone! You can marry him! His sword will protect you! That way you won’t have to worry about the orcs attacking again!” Whitewing affirmed.

"That's great! Lord Baggins' fighting prowess has been certified by the expedition! Even Gandalf praised his swordsmanship!" Thorin boasted without batting an eye.

“???” Bard was taken aback. Had Gandalf ever praised him? It seemed that all the melee mages could do was praise someone for their swordsmanship.

“Yes! Bilbo, how are you feeling?” Thranduil nodded, as if Whitewing’s words were very constructive!
