The moment he kicked over the small bench, the old abbot rolled his eyes and flapped his hands like an old hen.

His breathing became weaker and weaker.

at last.

With his unremitting efforts, the life span of this life was finally exhausted.

When he was brought to the underworld by Black and White, the old abbot did not have the fear of the underworld that ordinary people have at all, and he was still shouting: "Buddha, Buddha will save me!"

"I am going to the Western Paradise, but you got the wrong person from hell!"

It's not easy to let this life's Yangshou run out.

He was waiting for this moment, the Tathagata Buddha's universal salvation.

His voice made even the King of Hell and the Underworld Judge confused, and they looked at each other.

Are they really from the Buddhist side?

It shouldn't be.

Logically speaking, if you have something to do with Buddhism, you should go directly to the VIP channel when you go to the underworld and go to the Cuiyun Palace of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Shouldn't you come here?

Could it be that something went wrong?

The King of Hell was also a little unsure and quickly sent someone to ask Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva for instructions.

Ask if it is the person whom Buddha greeted.

After all, ordinary mortals would not dare to tell nonsense, and this old guy was indeed a monk in the temple during his lifetime.

If you really say hello, there is no problem in going through the back door.

But when asked, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva directly denied it.

Anyone who has anything to do with Buddhism has a separate book of life and death.

With Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's confirmation, the King of Hell and the judge were immediately relieved.

Only the old abbot still struggled and shouted: "Buddha, Buddha will definitely save me!"

"Buddha promised me that when I die in this life, he will save me!"

The King of Hell looked at the judge with a hint of questioning in his eyes.

The judge was stunned for a moment, then opened the book of life and death and started searching. After searching for a long time, he finally found his name and began to read it out.

"For the King of Hell, this person's real name is Chen Dachun. He became a monk when he was young. His Buddhist name is Yuan Zhen. He has a lifespan of seventy-eight years. He is not a foolish person."

"Then what's going on with him now?" the King of Hell asked.

The judge scratched his head in embarrassment and said hesitantly: "This... I don't know this either."

The King of Hell looked at the old abbot who was still chattering, and said a little irritably: "Buddha can't save you anymore, let me save you first."

He said with a big wave of his hand.

Immediately, a ghost officer put him in shackles and took him down.

The life span of this life is not over yet.

It is sinful to commit suicide suddenly.

In addition, this old monk actually lied about having something to do with Buddhism, which was even more sinful!

Ever since, the old abbot repeated his suicide behavior in the underworld again and again.

Until the end of Yangshou in this life.

"Liar...Buddha is a liar..." the old abbot screamed heartbreakingly.

The ghost officer in charge was so frightened that he almost peed when he heard this.

The Cuiyun Palace of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is not far away.

How dare this old abbot scold Buddha openly?

Is this impressive?

"Clap!"

Two strong whips were struck again, and the old abbot suddenly became honest.

I don’t dare to scold Buddha anymore.

At this moment, Tathagata Buddha may have long forgotten that there is such a person as him.

Poor child.

I don’t know whether it was intentional or unintentional, but he was reincarnated as the abbot of a temple in his next life.

However, his devotion to Buddha in this life was no longer so rigorous.

The temples he presided over were all listed on the market, and there were even rumors that he had given birth to a child, but I don't know whether it was true or not.

Perhaps his behavior is related to being deceived by Tathagata Buddha in this life.

The painful memory is deeply imprinted in the soul.

This led to differences in his understanding of Buddhism.

…… the other side.

After Tathagata Buddha came out of the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, he lived by eating and drinking alms.

After all, things are much better now than on the desert island. As long as you are willing to use your mouth, you can eat enough with a broken bowl in your hand.

But the good days didn't last long.

The army of the Tang Dynasty took over this place, and with a military order, all the temples here were demolished. The monks who were willing to return to secular life were allowed to return to secular life, and those who were unwilling to return to secular life were beheaded on the spot!

But the monks who have returned to secular life cannot do any other work except chanting sutras. They can only start their old profession of alms with broken bowls.

Without the life of wearing their clothes to open their mouths, these bald donkeys soon became emaciated from hunger, and their cassocks became tattered.

Tathagata Buddha, who had no magic power, was also forced to mix among them.

Every day I either live in a ruined temple or wander on the streets.

I even started to miss my original desert island life.

At least when you're on a desert island, you can catch two fish and grill them as long as you move.

Now that this place has been enlightened by the Tang Dynasty, the people no longer believe in Buddhism, and these bald men can't even beg for food compared to those homeless people.

In desperation, the bald donkeys were forced to go all the way west.

Race against the Tang Dynasty’s Western Expedition team.

But now the soldiers of the Tang Dynasty are holding AKs in their hands, and wherever they go, they feel like they are in uninhabited territory!

With the absolute advantage of hot weapons over cold weapons, small countries were suppressed one after another at the speed of light.

As a result, the number of bald donkeys fleeing for food along the way is getting bigger and bigger.

Moreover, many older bald donkeys would rather stay around the ruined temple and beg for food than run around.

They finally understood.

There will be no way out as a monk in the future.

No matter where they ran, the soldiers of the Tang Dynasty were always one step ahead.

Tathagata Buddha was also aware of this problem.

And among the bald donkeys who fled, he was the one who had the experience of surviving on a desert island. He led these bald donkeys all the way across mountains and rivers, and he turned out to be the boss among them!

At this moment, Tathagata Buddha was sitting in a broken temple, and a bald donkey came over carrying a broken bowl.

There is half a bowl of water in the bowl.

"Boss, this is the rootless water I got from outside. It won't cause diarrhea after drinking it. Just take a few sips of it."

Tathagata Buddha took the broken bowl and took a gentle sip.

In fact, for him, it doesn't matter whether the water is clear or unclear.

One month on the desert island had already given him a good workout.

Basically, you won’t have diarrhea no matter what you drink.

What he is worried about now is where should he go?

The current situation of temples and monks in the world is already digging into the roots of Buddhism.

If this continues, where can Buddhism get faith from?

Although I am no longer the Buddha's World Honored One, I still need the incense and merit.

Tathagata Buddha glanced at the bald donkeys who were fleeing with him.

In the past, they were all important followers of Buddhism in the mortal world.

If they just break up, it will be difficult to get such a group of people together again.

Moreover, these people now consider themselves the boss. This pattern is somewhat similar to the beggar gangs that I saw in the mortal world before.

Beggars live by begging.

They now rely on alms for food...

If I could gather all these believers in my own hands...

Thinking of this, Tathagata Buddha's eyes suddenly lit up.

Just do it.

"Everyone, there is no hope for us to return to the temple now."

"But we also need to eat, and we also have faith!"

"In order to survive, I decided to form a gang to keep warm!"

Tathagata Buddha glanced at all the bald donkeys, and after thinking for a moment, he said: "Based on our characteristics, I decided to name the gang the Bald Gang!"

"You are the elders of the Bald Gang!"
