Chapter 759 Discovery of an Alien Werewolf Corpse
Further searching of the villa quickly yielded new discoveries. In the basement, volunteers found a rudimentary biological laboratory. The beakers, flasks, and petri dishes were all Earth products, but several oddly shaped devices with strange markings did not appear to be Earth-based. They were likely equipment brought to Earth by extraterrestrials.
Inside the spacious basement, there were over a dozen enormous iron cages. Confined within these cages weren't laboratory animals like mice, rabbits, or gorillas, but rather humans of various skin colors, ages, and genders. No, to be precise, the cages now contained only human corpses. A closer look revealed that these corpses were withered and emaciated, with grayish-white eyes and exposed fangs—clearly, they had been infected with the zombie virus, received no treatment, and died after complete zombification. Judging from the situation in the basement, these people in the cages were likely captured by aliens for testing the zombie virus. Perhaps they were the first humans to be infected with the virus and die from it.
Continuing their search, the volunteers found the corpse of a humanoid creature in a bedroom on the second floor of the villa. It was described as a humanoid creature's corpse rather than a human body because the body had a wolf's head and a human body, with limbs resembling a wolf and sharp claws.
"This must be the wolf-headed, human-bodied monster that the Chinese boy was talking about. It's so ugly, no wonder it scared the children."
"Could this be the alien we're looking for on our secret mission?"
"It's almost certain. In this abandoned villa, we found a strange aircraft, a rudimentary biological laboratory, and the corpse that looks like a werewolf. It all matches the aliens we're looking for in our secret mission who created the zombie virus."
"If this monster really is an alien visitor and the creator of the zombie virus, then how did he die? His body is so thin; he couldn't have starved to death, could he?"
"Didn't you notice that this monster's corpse has some zombie characteristics? I suspect it may have died from the zombie virus it developed itself."
"No way, the zombie virus that aliens painstakingly created ended up killing themselves? What a bizarre story! Are aliens all brainless?!"
"Don't forget, our virus research experts once said that the zombie virus is the ultimate Frankenstein's monster, a fusion of Earth's native viruses and alien viruses, and its toxicity is unprecedented. This alien may not be afraid of the alien virus he brought, but our Earth's native viruses are equally ineffective against him. Therefore, it's not surprising that the alien was killed by the zombie virus he created due to his carelessness."
"Captain, what should we do with this alien corpse, the small spaceship stored in the garage, and the human corpses and equipment in the basement?"
"Pack up and seal the alien corpses, the alien spaceship, and all the equipment in the laboratory, and send them back to China. The corpses of those who died from the zombie virus should be incinerated on site." "Understood, Captain!" the survivors replied and immediately sprang into action. The captain, who was leading the group, took out a communication terminal, snapped a few photos of the alien corpses on the ground, then opened a red software program, uploaded the images, and submitted the mission.
Not long after, his communication terminal began to vibrate, indicating an incoming call. The captain answered the phone, and a familiar voice came through the receiver, "Old Li, you've really done a great job. In this operation, our North American Volunteer Brigade has dozens of teams of varying sizes working separately. Everyone is busy clearing the zombie virus, rescuing survivors, and taking over territory. Everyone was also keeping an eye on that secret mission to find aliens, hoping to take the lead, but unexpectedly, it was your third team that found it in the end. Were there any other discoveries at the scene? Did this dead alien have any companions? Were the laboratory researching the zombie virus found? Were the spacecraft or escape pod found?"
"Reporting, Captain, we found a small aircraft marked with a large amount of unidentified writing inside the same villa. We also found the laboratory that synthesized the zombie virus; it contained some strangely shaped equipment that didn't seem to be from Earth. Apart from the alien who died from the virus, we didn't find any trace of a second alien in the villa."
"Good, good, your discovery confirms the previous conjecture of domestic scientists. This zombie virus was indeed synthesized and created by aliens to exterminate humanity. Quickly collect all items in the villa, including that alien corpse, pack them up and send them back to China. Remember to search carefully and don't miss any possible extraterrestrial creations. I think the scientists in China will definitely be interested in that small spaceship and this werewolf corpse."
"Don't worry, Captain. I've already instructed my men to collect and organize the items inside the villa. We'll have everything ready soon and pack it up to take back to base. Remember to prepare a transport plane so we can load everything onto it and fly back home as soon as it arrives. Oh, Captain, after this mission is complete, don't forget to recommend our team for commendation."
"Don't worry, kid. When have I ever mistreated my team members? This time, your team found the alien's corpse and evidence of his creation of the zombie virus. This is a major achievement, and you're guaranteed a collective first-class merit."
A day later, the alien werewolf's corpse and the small spaceship arrived in China aboard a Y-20 transport plane. As soon as the plane landed at a remote military airport, a team of neatly dressed researchers immediately drove up in a fully enclosed transport vehicle. The researchers swiftly signed for receipt, unloaded and transferred the cargo—the operation was fast and professional. Throughout the entire transfer, the items were sealed to prevent the spread of the zombie virus.
Half an hour later, in a high-standard biological laboratory at a secret research institute, an elderly man with gray hair, his hands trembling, opened a sealed box. Around the experimental table stood a dozen or so researchers in white lab coats, all staring wide-eyed, waiting for the old man to open the box. He cut the lead seal, pulled open the lid of the sealed box, and a large alien corpse with a wolf's head and a human body appeared before the researchers.
"Wow, is this what an alien werewolf looks like? It's quite different from the alien we pieced together from biological fragments found in the alien spaceship wreckage using computer technology." (End of Chapter)
