Bronze door through time and space

Chapter 849 Batman's Secret Weapon

Chapter 849 Batman's Secret Weapon
The kind-hearted Superman ultimately chooses to believe in humanity. The problem is that humanity doesn't even believe in itself, so how could it possibly believe in an alien lurking on Earth?

In other words, the threat from aliens in space is too great, and Superman is not a weakling. Otherwise, even Superman would have to leave behind some blood or limbs before he leaves.

For various reasons, everything still unfolds as in the original story, except that Batman becomes a variable.

The changes caused by Yan Xu's appearance made Batman notice Superman ahead of time. Given Batman's personality, upon discovering such an existence, he naturally began to monitor him in various ways, even collecting multiple samples of his excrement. Naturally, he wouldn't miss Superman's contact with the military.

Batman doesn't understand aliens, but he understands humans and immediately knows that the military will make things worse because they're very good at it.

Fortunately, Dick, who was already capable of handling things on his own, returned to help, ensuring that Batman wouldn't be unable to leave Gotham. Therefore, he immediately put on the Anti-Superman armor and took off in the Batplane.

The Anti-Superman armor wasn't originally designed to be used against Superman, but rather against cats. However, Batman abandoned it because he found it ineffective. Later, the appearance of Superman and Wonder Woman gave him a sense of crisis, so he modified it into a more targeted suit of armor, which came in handy at that moment.

A battle erupted between Superman and Kryptonian soldiers in the town. The fight was fierce, and although no one was even scratched, it did not stop the large number of molds that overestimated themselves and tried to join the battle.

The fighting prowess displayed by both sides made Batman's face grow increasingly grim, and he became even more disgusted with these aliens who were fighting to the death on Earth. The various countermeasures and contingency plans had already increased to four digits in number, so it was easy to imagine that Superman's days ahead would be anything but easy.

Upon arriving in the Batplane, seeing the dead and wounded Molds scattered on the ground, Batman immediately pulled the trigger. The machine gun, with its greater penetration and accuracy than the depleted uranium armor-piercing rounds equipped by Molds, quickly hit the target. However, it was all in vain. Even the Kryptonians' most vulnerable armor was not breached. Sparks flew everywhere, but the Kryptonians did not even flinch.

The fact that the Kryptonian soldiers were able to hit the target was because they had already tested the planet's technological level and concluded that it was not worth dodging. Otherwise, how could modern weapons lock onto these lightning-fast Kryptonians?

This is why Superman Clark, despite possessing speed comparable to the Flash, has no sense of evasion and either takes attacks head-on or grabs them with his hands. It's because these so-called attacks are too fragile, less than dust. At least you'd blink if dust landed in your eyes.

Batman wasn't too surprised. Before the Batplane was destroyed by the Kryptonian soldiers, he immediately jumped out and landed steadily on the ground using his Anti-Superman armor. Superman, who had just been knocked down by the Kryptonian female lieutenant, rolled over like a skipping stone. As soon as he looked up, he saw the other man. At this moment, Batman and Superman had their first historic meeting.

"I'll hold them off, you get out of here!" Although he didn't know what was wrong with this strange person, Superman's first priority was to protect him and get him away.

"Just do your own thing." Batman picked up his secret weapon, a grenade launcher, and fired a shot at the pursuing female Kryptonian lieutenant. An orange cat plush toy was launched instantly, but was caught firmly by her.

As Zod's lieutenant, Fiora was quite knowledgeable, but this was the first time she had ever seen someone use a toy as a weapon. So she sneered and crushed the doll.

Her deep-seated contempt and arrogance prevented Fiora from noticing the changes in her body, and Batman gave her no chance to react. Holding a grenade launcher, he fired several orange cat plush toys at the female lieutenant and the big Kryptonian, then coldly watched as the two of them crushed all the toys.

"What is this?!" Superman, who had just stood up, was shocked. He also had a similar orange cat doll, but he had never known this thing was so terrifying. "Its power is far greater than you imagine," Batman said coldly, then put away his grenade launcher and fired a laser from his wrist, attracting the attention of the two cat-like Kryptonians.

Destroying the orange cat plushie will bring a curse, and Batman naturally knew this. Initially, he wanted to find a way to break the curse, but later he discovered that this thing was extremely effective as a non-lethal weapon, especially when facing some powerful enemies, so he secretly acquired some.

Batman has two pieces of news, one good and one bad. The good news is that the orange cat doll is indeed effective. The bad news is that the Cat God is much stronger than he imagined, and even these aliens who can dismantle tanks with their bare hands cannot resist him.

While the two cat-like Kryptonians were distracted by the laser beam, Batman seized the opportunity to open their fully enclosed helmets. As for how he cracked Kryptonian technology, it can only be explained by the fact that he is Batman.

The moment they came into contact with sunlight, the two cat-like Kryptonians began to act strangely, but Batman didn't give them a chance. He threw two specially made grenades, and the smoke from the grenades was not Kryptonite powder, but high-quality concentrated catnip. In the blink of an eye, the two over-hyped elite Kryptonian warriors turned into useless writhers on the ground.

Although he never said it, Superman has always been proud, even when facing his fellow Kryptonians. But this is the first time he has felt threatened by a mortal.

But now is not the time to think about these things; Superman immediately went to stop the other Kryptonians from getting close.

Batman put special masks on the two Kryptonians. The high concentration of plant extracts inside the masks, after being atomized, made them too excited and intoxicated. Their bodies were completely out of control. After their joints were locked by special elastic restraints, they were carried into the Batplane.

Having lost two elites, the remaining Kryptonian soldiers were no match for Superman and immediately retreated.

Superman, who still held onto hope for peace, did not give chase, but instead watched the Batplane disappear into the distance.

"Gotham." This big boy from the farm had heard of it, but didn't know what kind of place it was. Maybe he should go there sometime, at least to find out what that orange cat doll was all about.

Back in the Batcave, the two Kryptonians' rapidly enhanced physiques left Batman completely bewildered as to how such life forms could possibly exist. Not only were their physical and energy resistances maxed out, but they could also absorb sunlight to continuously grow stronger—it was utterly illogical.

Based on their body size, even if they were exposed to sunlight from all directions without any blind spots and absorbed 100%, it would be impossible for their physique to grow to this extent. In fact, for a life form of this size, the energy consumed in just one breath is equivalent to the power generation of a solar panel of the same size for a hundred years.

The only saving grace is that these Kryptonians are not very resistant to magic, at least not to the curse of the Cat God. The curse not only turned them into cats, but also reduced their intelligence, making them more reliant on instinct. Otherwise, Batman wouldn't know how to contain these two monsters.

Give him some more time, and Batman is confident he can develop a way to counter the Kryptonian wavelengths of light. After all, sunlight can make Kryptonians strong or weak, and there can't be any creature in the universe without any weaknesses. But he obviously doesn't have that much time, so he needs help.
