Chapter 2 Sigma Appears!

The orc boys charged directly with rusty long swords and simple wooden ladders on their backs. Behind these melee orc boys were about 30 orc archers, who held simple wooden bows and launched two rounds of volleys at the humans on the city wall.

However, the arrows were blocked by the solid city walls. Only two unlucky guys were hit by the high-thrown arrows, but they did not lose their combat effectiveness.

The captain of the empire took the lead and beheaded an orc boy with one sword, but more orcs continued to climb up the ladder to the city wall.

For a moment, the city wall turned into a meat grinder. The orcs relied on their strong bodies to fight against the human soldiers, while humans relied on their equipment and numerical advantages to continuously squeeze the orcs' living space.

Zhang Heng was actually relieved when the battle continued to this point. He originally wondered whether the orcs would capture the city, but based on his rich gaming experience, he knew that if these orcs did not have backup, they would sooner or later all be killed on the city walls.

The orcs who climbed up the city wall were shaken when they saw his bravery. Ludwig naturally thought that he had won the battle and the remaining orcs were just fighting desperately.

But suddenly he heard a sound in his ears, which distracted him from the battle.

"There are still orcs on the south wall?! Who was talking to me just now?! Who said there are orcs on the south side?" Ludwig shouted loudly to the soldiers around him.

But the soldiers were all confused and had no idea what Ludwig was talking about.

"Captain! No one was talking to you just now."

"Don't be in a daze! I'm talking to you! The southern wall! Go quickly! The goblin general and his lurkers have already reached the bottom of the wall!"

Just as he was stunned, the voice rang in Ludwig's ears again.

This voice from the depths of his soul made Ludwig unable to help but look towards the south wall. He saw thick smoke rising from the south, and shouts of killing were heard from that direction.

He himself jumped down from the city wall.
