Chapter 18 Naga Appears
After passing the strait with difficulty, the two entered a foggy sea area.

Jack felt a little hot, put down the paddle, and wanted to take off his clothes. The amount of exercise just now was a bit too much, and his back was already soaked with sweat.

Fizmos was in a worse condition than Jack, but he had no intention of taking off his clothes. He even stopped Jack from taking off his clothes, "Don't move, don't make any noise. According to the intelligence from Stromgarde, Nagas often appear here and have captured many fishermen."

Jack was fine, but Fizmos' body had begun to tremble. His physical strength was almost exhausted, and he could no longer withstand the biting sea breeze.

Jack took out the jerky from the package and handed it to Fizmos. Fizmos thought about it, took the jerky and took a bite.

While chewing the jerky slowly, Fizmos tried to cheer himself up.

However, the terrain of this sea area is complex, and the two were unlucky enough to row into a group of reefs, with just enough space for a small boat to pass in front. This is very dangerous. If you enter this path, it is easy to collide with the reef. If the road inside is blocked, the two can only return the same way.

Fizmos thought about it and decided to retreat first. But suddenly there was a noise behind him, followed by the cry of a fishman.

Fizmos was shocked. Isn't this sea area the territory of the Naga? How could there be murlocs?

Jack was also surprised, but what surprised him was that the voice of the fishman sounded very close. Was he surrounded?
So, without waiting for Fizmos to make a decision, Jack immediately used the oar to hit the reef hard, allowing the boat to rush into the path ahead.

Fizmos hurriedly kept the boat balanced and the boat quickly entered the path. However, there was a bend in the path, so Fizmos could only use the oars to push against the rocks to change the direction of the boat.

"Boom!"

The clear sound rang out, and Fizmos and Jack were instantly silent. However, the sound would not disappear with their silence.

"Mglrmglmglmgl..."

A burst of murloc language was heard, followed by the sound of water flowing closer. It sounded like at least a dozen murlocs were chasing after them. They were shouting as they chased, probably calling out to their friends.

"Come on!"

Fizmos quickly said that there was no need to hide their whereabouts at this time, and the correct choice was to escape from the murloc's pursuit as quickly as possible.

Jack immediately used all his strength to prop up the reef and rushed the boat out of the path at the fastest speed. No more than ten yards away, the pursuing murlocs rushed out of the island. The murloc warriors continued to chase, and two murloc hunters jumped onto the reef next to them and threw spears at the two men.

Jack turned sideways and used the oar to knock a spear into the sea, but he was too late to block the other spear and could only raise his arm.

The spear pierced through his armpit, and Jack heard a muffled groan behind him.

He turned around quickly and saw that the spear had pierced Fizmos' body, pinning him to the boat. The spear had penetrated from a very narrow position, so it should not have injured any vital parts, but Fizmos' ribs were broken and his lungs might have been injured. Such injuries seemed serious, but they did not require treatment from a priest. As long as the spear was pulled out and some herbs were applied, they could be healed. Unfortunately, Jack did not have time to help him pull out the spear.

"boom!"

Jack shot and killed the approaching murloc warrior, then swept his sword and beheaded the other two murlocs who wanted to jump onto the boat.

Fizmos also knew that Jack couldn't take care of him, so he picked up the sword, endured the pain and cut off the spear, then took out the herbs and shouted to Jack, "Jack, hold the spear."

Jack threw the dwarf's short gun into the boat and reached out to grab the spear. Fizmos pushed forward, pulled out the spear himself, and lay on the boat to apply medicine to himself. Because of the pain, his hands trembled violently, so he simply gritted his teeth and poured all the herbs into the wound.

Jack handed the spear to the hand holding the sword, and while resisting the attack of the fishmen, he tied his sword together with a rope. Made of a simple spear, Jack quickly stabbed into the sea, killing the remaining fishmen in a few strokes.

Before the fishman caught up with him, Jack immediately sat down and rowed. Soon, the boat rushed out of the reef area.

The murlocs were still chasing them relentlessly, and a large group of murlocs appeared behind them.

Suddenly, several figures appeared on the sea ahead. When the fishman saw these figures, he immediately screamed in fear and turned around and ran away.

The figures approached quickly, and soon Jack could see their appearance clearly. They had human upper bodies, but dragon-like heads. Their strong forelimbs held huge tridents, and their snake-like tails swung quickly. In the blink of an eye, they were near the boat.

Two of the Nagas swung their tridents at the boat, while the others chased after the murlocs.

Jack quickly grabbed the side of the boat, but the spear he made fell into the sea because of the shaking of the boat. At the critical moment, Fizmos pulled out his dwarven pistol and threw it in front of Jack. Jack grabbed the pistol and pulled the trigger at a naga.

"boom!"

The beast-like Naga was shot in the head at close range, and another Naga was enraged by Jack's behavior. He was about to rush towards Jack, but suddenly a hand appeared on the boat and stabbed his neck with a long sword in his hand.

Fizmos pulled out the sword with all his strength, "Go!"

Jack immediately threw two dwarven pistols to Fizmos, then picked up the oars and rowed hard.

But the busier they were, the more mistakes they made. The boat made a circle on the sea and almost capsized.

Fitzmoss couldn't help but swore, "Are you an idiot? Is this how I taught you to row a boat?"

Jack quickly calmed down, adjusted the direction of the boat, and sailed forward quickly.

Fizmos loaded the ammunition as quickly as possible, then moved his body and ejected his head from the side of the ship. He held a dwarven pistol in each hand and kept shooting at the chasing Naga.

Several Nagas sensed the threat of the dwarf's short gun and immediately dived into the water to chase. They were faster in the water than on the sea, and in the blink of an eye they caught up to the bottom of the boat. They suddenly jumped up and knocked the boat flying.

Jack ignored the oars and grabbed the side of the boat with both hands, moving his body to keep the boat balanced.
