Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 19 Then Slytherin would gain a great wizard
The old hat's words made Harry's heart tighten.

Broken, discovered?
"Really?" Harry asked calmly, neither saying yes nor no.

"Yes, the Sorting Hat is never wrong." The Sorting Hat said firmly: "I remember you. When I sorted you last time, I advised you to go to Slytherin, but you insisted on going to Gryffindor."

If nothing unexpected happened, he really wouldn't mind going to Slytherin.

It was only while he was applying for financial aid that he and Phineas Black were alone for a while.

When he came out, he also asked Vice-Principal Weasley which college Principal Black was from.

After getting the answer "Slytherin", Harry instantly made up his mind.

Even if I drop out of school, I won't go to Slytherin!

"What about this time? Will you still suggest that I go to Slytherin?" Harry asked back.

"I don't think someone who dares to drink Polyjuice Potion to become the headmaster would be a Slytherin. My God, you don't know Phineas's face at that time. He was so angry." The Sorting Hat said gloatingly: "You even let the hall always fly the Gryffindor flag, although Phineas quickly revoked the order."

At this point, Old Hat suddenly reacted.

"Wow, time is really a magical thing. I didn't expect you to be eleven years old again. But don't worry, Old Hat will keep the secret for you."

"Really?" Harry was a little unconvinced.

"Since it was created, the old hat has never revealed any secrets about young wizards." The Sorting Hat vowed, "Even the big trouble that gave Albus a headache."

As for the ethics of the Sorting Hat, Harry was still willing to believe it.

After all, if the Sorting Hat really revealed the secrets of young wizards to others, there would be no dark wizard like Voldemort in Hogwarts.

"So which college will you persuade me to go to this time?" Harry asked again in his mind.

"No one would betray their own house, right?" The Sorting Hat laughed. "You are undoubtedly Gryffindor."

"Then what are we waiting for? Announce the sorting results. I'm ready." Harry said impatiently. The gazes from all directions made him feel a little uncomfortable.

Although he knew that the Sorting Hat communicated with people on a spiritual level, he was still a little uncomfortable with it.

"This is really sad, little guy." The Sorting Hat complained: "Old friends should reminisce when they meet, but you can't wait to get rid of the old hat. It really makes the hat sad."

"You have a heart too?" Harry asked in surprise.

"I think I've changed my mind. You should be sorted to Azkaban." The Sorting Hat's voice was mixed with a little resentment.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean that." Harry quickly apologized to the old man. Just kidding, he didn't want to be sent to Azkaban.

Then he asked, "In which year did this principal enter the school? Why don't I have any impression of him?"

"The headmaster." The Sorting Hat recalled and said to Harry, "If I remember correctly, he should have enrolled in your seventh year, but Phineas said you were missing, so it's normal that you don't know him. How about it? Seeing your junior brother become the headmaster, do you have complicated feelings?"

"That's true," Harry agreed, "but I haven't seen the headmaster as a child, so it doesn't feel out of place."

"Haha, you should see young Albus." The old hat's voice had a hint of cunning.

"Really? Which house is he from?" asked Harry.

"Gryffindor, without a doubt," said the Sorting Hat with great delight.

Harry nodded in understanding and chatted with the Sorting Hat for a long time.

Finally, the Sorting Hat said contentedly: "It is a pleasure to reminisce with old friends. In return, the old hat also prepared a unique sorting ceremony for his friend."

"What is it?" Harry asked curiously. The old hat didn't answer, and just when Harry thought the Sorting Hat was about to shout, he suddenly felt something hard hit his head.

He took off the Sorting Hat and saw a sword hilt inside it.

Curious, he reached out and grasped the hilt, then with a clang, he pulled out a gorgeous silver sword.

At the same time, the Sorting Hat in his hand shouted loudly.

"No doubt! Gryffindor!"

The hall fell silent for a moment. After a while, warm applause broke out from the long tables of the three houses except Slytherin.

"We've got Potter! We've got Potter!" the Weasley twins stood on their stools, waving their arms gleefully.

Harry turned around and looked towards the teachers' table.

Hagrid clapped wildly, looking almost unable to contain his excitement; Dumbledore smiled and nodded at him, and applauded him as well; but the greasy-haired good-natured professor seemed a little disgusted with him.

Professor McGonagall beside him also folded her hands, looking very happy that Harry was sorted into Gryffindor.

"Professor, this?" Harry held the Sorting Hat in one hand and the Sword of Gryffindor in the other.

"Leave this to me, Mr. Potter." Professor McGonagall took the hat and sword from his hand, walked to Dumbledore, and handed the sword to Dumbledore.

"I never thought you would arrange the Sorting this way, Albus," she whispered.

Dumbledore was obviously surprised for a moment: "Huh?"

Then he understood what Professor McGonagall meant, and replied in a low voice: "No, Minerva, you will understand in the future that the headmaster has no right to interfere with the results of student sorting, let alone order the sorting hat."

Professor McGonagall looked at Dumbledore suspiciously, but finally chose to believe it.

As Harry walked towards the Gryffindor table, all the Gryffindors stood up and offered him their heartiest congratulations.

He sat on Hermione's left, and on the other side was a boy wearing glasses and looking very gentle.

"Percy, Percy Weasley." Percy extended his hand and introduced himself.

Harry reached out and shook the other person's hand. He knew that this should be the prefect brother that Ron had mentioned.

The Weasley family is generally known by nicknames, for example, Bill's formal name is William, and Charlie's formal name is Charles.

"Hello, Percy," Harry smiled just as politely.

Just then, Professor McGonagall called Ron's name.

"It's my brother, my youngest brother," Percy whispered to Harry.

"GRYFFINDOR!" yelled the Sorting Hat.

Ron walked over to Harry, sat down in the seat he and Hermione had reserved for him, and slumped down.

"Very good, Ron, very good!" Percy said in an exaggerated tone.

"I was really scared. I thought I would be sorted into Slytherin." Ron said with lingering fear.

Harry looked at Ron with a smile and said to him, "Then Slytherin will get an excellent wizard."

Ron rolled his eyes, "Oh shut up Harry, you talk like my mother."
