Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy
Chapter 20: Crazy Junior
Chapter 20: Crazy Junior
"I think Malfoy must be under the same pressure as me." Ron said again: "You know, the Malfoy family has always been Slytherin."
Harry thought about it for a moment and couldn't help laughing.
"What's wrong?" Ron asked.
"Think about it." Harry suppressed his laughter and said to Ron and Hermione: "Malfoy asked his father, 'Dad, what if I was sorted into Slytherin?', and then his father would definitely draw his wand and point it at him and say, 'Draco Malfoy, You better be (you better be)!'"
They both laughed when they heard Harry's imagination.
At this time, the sorting ceremony ended.
Albus Dumbledore stood up, looked at the students with a smile on his face and opened his arms to them. It seemed that nothing made him happier than seeing students gathered together.
"Welcome!" he said. "Welcome everyone to Hogwarts to start the new school year! Before the banquet begins, I want to say a few words - that is: Idiot! Crybaby! Scum! Twist!"
"Thank you everyone!" He sat down again.
Everyone applauded and cheered, even Harry.
If it was Principal Phineas Black, he would probably have to talk for an hour before dinner could start.
Even though this junior seemed a little crazy - yes, after being brainwashed by the old man, Dumbledore in Harry's eyes had changed from the headmaster to a junior.
Well... the combination of an eleven-year-old senior and a hundred-year-old junior is indeed rare.
As Dumbledore sat down, mountains of delicious food immediately appeared on the four long tables.
Roast beef, roast chicken, pork chops, lamb chops, sausages, steak, boiled potatoes, baked potatoes, chips, Yorkshire puddings, pea sprouts, carrots, gravy, ketchup and even mint candy.
Harry forked a piece of steak and put it on the plate.
It was well-done, indicating that the quality of the beef was top-notch - he seemed to remember hearing someone say that the Muggle Queen usually ate well-done steak.
"It looks really good," said the ghost in the ruff sadly, as he watched Harry cut the steak.
Harry looked up and nodded at the ghost.
"Hello."
He almost said Sir Nicholas, but stopped himself.
"You look... familiar." Sir Nicholas looked at Harry in a trance: "I always feel like I have seen you somewhere before?"
Just when Harry thought that the other party was about to recognize him, he found that he hammered his palm: "I remember now, James Potter, should be your father? You look almost exactly like him!"
"You knew my father?" Harry asked with interest.
"Of course, young Mr. Potter, James is an outstanding student of our Gryffindor." Sir Nicholas said with a smile.
"Oh, I remember, you are Nearly Headless Nick!" Ron also pointed at Sir Nicholas and shouted.
"I think I prefer Sir Nicholas, whom you call Mimsy." The Ghost looked a little uneasy, but the tan-haired Seamus Finnigan put in: "Almost headless? How can you be almost headless?" Sir Nicholas looked very angry and did not seem to want to talk about the subject.
"Like this," he said irritably, and he grabbed the left ear and pulled it down, and the head slid off the neck and fell onto the shoulders as if the head was on hinges.
It seemed that someone didn't chop off his head completely, and Nick, who was almost headless, was very happy to see their stunned expressions.
He flicked his head back onto his neck, cleared his throat, and said, "All right, new Gryffindors! I want you to help us win the House Cup this year, okay? Gryffindor has never gone this long without winning, and Slytherin has won six in a row! The Bloody Baron is really intolerable—he's Slytherin's ghost."
Harry paid no attention to who the Bloody Baron was, but turned to look at the staff seats.
It didn't matter that he looked at it, the scar on his head suddenly started to hurt violently.
The only time this scar hurt over the years was when Sebastian used Avada Kedavra on his uncle Solomon Saru.
Veratia was so angry at that time that she bound Sebastian with a spell and saved Solomon with transfiguration.
Harry also did not forget to endure the pain and shoot Solomon with an Obliviate. After all, Uncle Solomon was as annoying as Headmaster Black. He didn't want his good friend to go to Azkaban for further studies.
After a while, the pain in the scar subsided.
He covered his forehead, not letting anyone notice his abnormality.
However, Ron still noticed something was wrong. He turned around with a chicken leg in each hand and asked Harry, "Hey, buddy, what's wrong with you? You look a little off."
"I'm fine." Harry smiled at Ron and asked Percy, "Percy, who is that teacher?"
Percy thought he was asking about Snape, so he smiled and replied, "That's Professor Snape, who teaches Potions, but he doesn't want to teach this course - everyone knows that he covets Professor Quirrell's job. Snape is very good at the Dark Arts."
Of course, Harry was not asking Snape. In fact, he had been stared at by Snape in the cabin before, but the scar did not hurt.
He added: "No, it's not Professor Snape, it's the one next to him with the turban on, who turned around and talked to someone else."
"That's Professor Quirrell, who teaches Defense Against the Dark Arts." Percy answered, "He used to teach Muggle Studies at Hogwarts, but for some reason he suddenly became the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. You don't know, Snape was so angry about this that he deducted a lot of points from Gryffindor in class."
"Why would Professor Snape deduct points from Gryffindor when he was angry?" Harry still didn't connect the two things together.
"Because Professor Snape doesn't like Gryffindor. This is no secret in the school." Percy shrugged: "Maybe because he is Slytherin's professor? You know, Slytherin always has trouble with Gryffindor."
Harry didn't refute. He didn't know what it was like now, but a hundred years ago...
With Headmaster Black around, the relationship between Gryffindor and Slytherin is still very good.
Harry looked at Snape again and found that he was staring at him too.
His eyes looked complicated, and Harry thought to himself, maybe he has a good relationship with my parents?
Thinking of this, he smiled politely at Snape.
However, he found that Snape snorted expressionlessly and turned his eyes away from him.
