Chapter 12 Classmates

Just as Ron was enjoying his meal, a crying little fat boy knocked on the door of the cubicle, walked in and said, "I'm sorry..."

He sniffed. "I want to ask, has anyone seen my toad?"

The three people in the cubicle shook their heads, and then he started crying again.

"If you see it, please let me know..." The crying little fat boy retreated.

Ron shrugged, then popped the last of his Beebe Every Flavour Beans into his mouth, then grimaced and let out a loud, cow-shit-smelling burp.

"!——" Harry beside him held his breath and showed an indescribable expression.

"Fortunately it's dry cow dung, so it doesn't smell that bad." Ivy tried to comfort Ron as much as possible.

Ron covered his mouth and nose with his hands, trying not to empty his stomach, and uttered two words with difficulty: "Stop talking..."

After Harry opened the window, he began to try to divert Ron's attention: "Ivy! Are you full now? Then let us see the power of ancient magic!"

Hearing him say this, Ron suddenly felt energized, staring carefully at Ivy's next move.

Ivy took out his pale silver wand and put on an unfathomable smile.

"Open your eyes..."

"Shua--" the door of the cubicle opened again. The crying little fat boy appeared in front of the three people again, but this time, he was accompanied by a little girl who had changed into school uniform.

"Has anyone seen a toad? Neville lost a toad..." she said, and the arrogant tone disappeared after she saw Ivy's face clearly, and even gradually became inaudible.

It seems that having a handsome face will get you preferential treatment no matter where you go.

"We didn't see..." Ron was interrupted before she could finish her words.

The girl with thick brown hair and big front teeth sat down next to Ivy, stared at the wand in his hand and said, "Are you casting magic? Let's open our eyes!"

"Ahem—" Ivy cleared his throat, "Open your eyes...don't be distracted!"

The pale silver magic wand traced an elegant trajectory in the air, and finally touched the air. A bright spot flew out from the tip of the wand, filling the entire compartment in the blink of an eye.

"…Did it succeed?" the girl asked.

"Look! Your hair..." Harry shouted, pointing at the girl's hair.

The thick hair was floating in the air like jellyfish. The girl screamed and reached out to smooth it down.

What she didn't expect was that her action actually accelerated the process of the hair moving away from each other.

"Is it static electricity?" She was smarter than her peers and quickly guessed what was going on.

"Wow--" Ron tried to stand up from his seat, but he bounced up and hit his head directly on the ceiling.

"It's flying! It's amazing!" Harry also left his seat, floating in the air. A fat mouse floated out of Ron's bulging pocket, waving its limbs in panic, trying to find a place to land!
The only person who was not affected was the little fat man at the door, but the tears on his face that had not yet dried up seemed to be affected by magic, and now gathered into a ball and floated in the air.

"You eliminated the gravity in this compartment!" the brown-haired girl asked loudly while trying to hold down the hem of her pleated skirt. "What kind of magic is this?"

"Ivy is an ancient magician who lived to be 144 years old!" Ron answered for him, "This is ancient magic that is quite difficult to control!"

"Ancient magic?" The girl's tone sounded quite skeptical. "I memorized all the textbooks and also found a lot of reading materials introducing the magical world for reference, but they didn't mention this word!"

"That proves that you haven't read enough books!" Ron was very proud, as if he had cast the magic to eliminate gravity himself.

"Hmph~" The girl sneered, and twisted her body awkwardly in the air, "Sorry... Can you end this magic? It's so awkward to chat like this!"

"Of course." Ivy snapped his fingers, and all the floating people and objects fell from the air.

Harry and Ron collided into each other, and the brown-haired girl fell to the ground in a very inelegant posture.

"Scabbers!" Ron yelled, and then he pushed Harry away, reached under his buttocks and pulled out a fat rat.

Ron held it in his palm and studied it carefully before saying, "Thank God, you're okay!"

Taking this opportunity, the brown-haired girl got up from the floor and began to introduce herself: "What a wonderful magic, I never thought magic could be used in this way - I'm Hermione Granger, he's Neville Longbottom, what are your names?"

"Ivy Doom."

"My name is Harry Potter," Harry looked back at Ron, whose attention was still on the fat rat, so Harry had to help introduce him, "The red-haired one is Ron Weasley."

"Harry Potter?" Hermione asked with interest, "Although none of the books I bought contain any content about 'ancient magic', they all mentioned you."

Although he was still not used to his fame, Harry tried his best to appear calm: "It's not a big deal..."

He regretted it the minute he said it; to him, it sounded like showing off.

"Well... do you know which house you will be sorted into?" Hermione changed the subject again. "It is said that Gryffindor is the best. After all, Dumbledore himself graduated from there. If you ask me, Ravenclaw is not bad either."

"Our whole family is Gryffindor. If I were sorted into another house, I'm afraid Fred and George would laugh at me for the rest of my life." Ron put the fat rat back into his pocket and took over the conversation.

"But if I'm sorted into Slytherin..." Ron shuddered, "That's where You-Know-Who stayed!"

"Are there any differences between the four houses?" Harry asked. Although he bought a book called "Hogwarts: A History" on Ivy's recommendation, reading was really against the nature of an eleven-year-old child, so he just flipped through two pages and threw it aside.

Ivy briefly introduced the four major colleges: "They represent the characteristics most admired by the four founders of Hogwarts. Gryffindor's bravery, Ravenclaw's wisdom, Hufflepuff's loyalty, and..."

"Slytherin blood."

Standing by the door was the young master of the Malfoy family and his two followers.
