Chapter 36
"Well, if you don't mind, I'm going back to bed." Ivy knew what would happen today. It was nothing more than chasing and fighting to the end of the corridor on the fourth floor, seeing the three-headed dog Fluffy sitting on the trapdoor, and then leading out Nicolas Flamel and his Philosopher's Stone.

Ivy had no interest in the painful immortality that the stone could provide. He could still live to be 97 years old, and it was far from the time to think about his affairs after his death. Although turning stone into gold was indeed an interesting ability, Ivy, who could do magic, did not have much desire for money.

Therefore, Ivy has no motive and no position to participate in this matter.

Ivy is a free-spirited person who does things based on his own preferences. His current interest lies in the spells provided by the Book of Destruction.

Especially since he was almost at level three, he had been eyeing the spell called Ma Youfu's Acid Arrow for a long time. By the way, he thought the Scorching Ray was not bad either.

His latest research topic is how to cast DND spells using wizard magic, but at least for now, he has no idea.

"Oh! Okay..." Malfoy and his friends made way for Ivy.

But just as Ivy was about to enter the common room, Malfoy suddenly called him: "Ivy!"

"What?" Ivy turned sideways and looked at Malfoy.

"Can...can you please witness this duel?" Malfoy shrugged uncomfortably, as if his back was itchy. "I mean...be a witness or referee or something...Of course, if it disturbs your rest, then forget it...Anyway, I can definitely handle Potter."

"It's just that I think it would be bad if no one believed me if I told them." Malfoy spoke more and more fluently. "You see, Miss Volley has never been on good terms with me. I dare say she is determined to become a prefect or something in the future. So, if you can come and witness it..."

"Of course. But what will you pay for it?" Ivy began to become interested, because he remembered that Malfoy didn't seem to have kept the appointment, and Ivy didn't think he sneaked out to inform on others, because this could be done in the daytime and there were so many tricks to use.

"Anything," Malfoy said immediately.

"I think the word 'anything' is still too heavy for you." Ivy shook his finger. "Let me think... a magic book? How about it? A magic book that Hogwarts has never collected, whether it is dark magic or anything else. As long as it is not in the Hogwarts library."

"Of course! The Malfoy family has many collections that you can never imagine!" Malfoy nodded and excitedly made a deal with Ivy.

Then, the four of them walked up the spiral staircase in the dungeon, heading towards the location they had decided to have for dinner tonight.

Along the way, Malfoy whispered a lot of things excitedly, most of which were about imagining how to mock Harry after his failure; the other few were very deliberate compliments to Ivy. It was obvious that the eldest master of the Malfoy family had not learned how to please others.

Soon, they approached the trophy display room on the fourth floor.

But the moment they stepped out of the stairs, a huge and noisy noise came from the trophy display room, mixed with Filch's roar and the screams of the little wizards.

Ivy noticed that Malfoy's face turned pale - it was all his fault.

Not only did Filch fail to catch Harry Potter and his accomplices on the spot, he even messed up the duel tonight. More importantly, he lost an opportunity to make friends with Ivy!

"What should we do?" Malfoy asked, sweat pouring down his face.

"Do you wish to end the duel tonight, Mr. Malfoy?" Ivy asked.

"What? Of course not!" Malfoy jumped up as if he was pricked by a needle, but soon he became dispirited again, "But if Slytherin gets deducted points..."

"It's simple," Ivy stretched out two fingers and gestured, "Two magic books, or magic props that are not much different." "Deal!" Malfoy whispered.

"Now," Ivy snapped his fingers, and a gauze-like magic curtain immediately enveloped the four people. This was an illusion spell, "Let's follow."

The little wizards ran very fast, almost like they were running for their lives. So naturally, they made quite a lot of noise. They even provoked Peeves who appeared out of nowhere.

"What a bunch of troublemakers," Malfoy taunted under the Disillusionment Charm, and Crabbe and Goyle responded with low, rude laughter.

"They went in," Ivy said.

"In? Where?" Malfoy looked up. Only Filch and Peeves were left in the corridor.

"The innermost room on the fourth floor." Ivy said slowly, "Remember? Dumbledore said at the beginning of the school year that it was the room where people would 'suffer accidents and die painfully'."

Malfoy's face suddenly turned paler than before, and then turned dark blue.

"Perhaps..." Malfoy's throat felt dry and itchy, "We should just lie back in bed and forget about it?"

"Apparently I'm not the only one who knew you were supposed to duel in the trophy room," Ivy pointed out maliciously.

Malfoy froze, his eyes bulging outward unnaturally, as if someone was grabbing him by the throat.

"Save them..." His voice sounded like he was drowning, "Ivy... help... save them..."

"Three books... no, no, five books... or ten books... anything will do, save them!" Malfoy grabbed Ivy's robe, and the joints of his hands turned white from being pinched.

Ivy smiled slightly and pointed her fingers in the air. Two flashing red lights hit Filch and Peeves, who were still arguing at the end of the corridor. They were instantly frozen into two lumps of ice that emitted cold air.

Ivy pushed open the door and saw four little wizards staring at the six eyes of the big dog in the middle of the room in amazement.

"What a full and strange day, isn't it?" Ivy leaned over and whispered in their ears.

In such tense moments, any slight disturbance will lead to an overreaction.

"Ahhh————" The four little wizards whose voices haven't changed yet have voices that can rival the creepy banshees in a cemetery. Together with the three-headed dog that has also come to its senses, the noise made by seven mouths will definitely pull everyone in the castle out of their dreams.

"Silently." Ivy successfully saved his hearing organ before it was scrapped.

"Stretch it out quickly." The chain that tied the three-headed dog to the trapdoor stretched out quickly, like a living snake, tightly binding the giant dog that looked like a mountain of meat.

"The three-headed dog is extremely powerful. I'm afraid it will break free soon. Before that, let's leave quickly." Ivy pulled the four terrified little wizards out of the room.
