Chapter 63 Reunion
"Who are you? What is your purpose?"

"My name is Weiss, I'm a professor at Hogwarts, I can help you"

After experiencing the betrayal of his former friend and the torture of Azkaban, Sirius would not easily trust a stranger at this moment, even though this stranger had just given him a full meal.

He looked at Weiss and didn't respond immediately. Silence seemed to be the best answer at the moment. He tried to get more information from Weiss's words, but the information he had was not enough for him to make an easy judgment. He stared at Weiss with a vigilant look again.

Oh, relax. You have nothing now, what else can I ask of you?

Weiss saw Sirius's high alert and tried to allay his concerns with a light-hearted and humorous tone.

"But I'm not helping you for no reason. How about we make a deal?"

"What do you want?" Sirius didn't know what else he had in mind that was worthy of a professor's attention.

"Black family documents and information."

Weiss stated his purpose directly: he wanted to obtain the knowledge accumulated by the Black family over hundreds of years.

"I've been kicked out of the Black family." Sirius said calmly.

"You are the only male in the Black family. You are the legal heir to the Black family."

"Really?" Sirius had no feelings for the Black family, and was not interested in what Weiss said. "As long as you can help me catch Pettigrew, I'll give you everything."

"Okay, then sign this contract." Weiss said, taking out the parchment and quill that he had prepared long ago from his pocket and handed them to Sirius.

"It seems you are well prepared," Sirius took the parchment, carefully browsed the contract to see if there were any hidden clauses or traps, and then signed his name happily.

After signing the contract, Weiss said to Sirius, "Come on, I'll take you to see Dumbledore."

"Dumbledore!" Sirius jumped up when he heard the name.

Weiss asked in a deliberately skeptical tone, "You don't believe Dumbledore?"

Sirius quickly waved his hands and said anxiously: "How could I not believe it? Dumbledore is one of the people I respect."

"Then what are you hesitating about?" Weiss asked further.

Sirius gave a bitter smile: "Look at me now, and I'm a wanted criminal..." As he spoke, his voice became lower and lower, his shoulders drooped slightly, and he looked a little decadent.

"I don't think Dumbledore will care about this. Besides, don't you want to see Lupin and Harry as soon as possible?" Weiss's words were like a fuse, instantly igniting Sirius' deepest desire.

Hearing the names of his best friend and Harry, Sirius could no longer suppress his inner excitement and shouted, "Let's go, let's set off now!" After that, he couldn't wait to walk towards Hogwarts.

"Wait." Weiss hurriedly stopped him, "Hogwarts is guarded by Dementors. You can't get in like this."

When Sirius heard this, he froze in his place, as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over his head, instantly extinguishing his newly ignited enthusiasm. "Besides, this outfit doesn't suit you."

Sirius looked down at his homeless appearance, with his ragged clothes, greasy long hair, and messy beard. At that moment, he seemed to realize his own embarrassment and lowered his head in embarrassment, his fingers unconsciously twirling the corners of his clothes, looking a little overwhelmed.

The two of them walked along the winding path until they came to a clear river. Weiss took out a set of clean clothes and toiletries from his bag and handed them to Sirius.

"I'm an adventurer, and I always carry these necessities with me," Weiss explained.

Sirius jumped into the river without hesitation. The cool water instantly refreshed him. He washed his body vigorously, washing away the dirt and fatigue.

When he changed into clean clothes, he seemed to have regained his youthful handsomeness. His upright posture and deep eyes seemed to bring him back to his former glory days. At that moment, he seemed to have regained the dignity and confidence he had lost for a long time.

"That's much better. Don't resist." Before Sirius could fully react, Weiss suddenly cast a transformation spell, and Sirius turned into a black kitten.

"Meow~Meow~" The black kitten seemed to be complaining about something, and its little body kept twisting, protesting against this sudden change.

"Shh, your Animagus form is too conspicuous," Weiss said in a soothing tone, "We need to avoid unnecessary trouble."

Sirius finally stopped struggling, and when he was about to say something, he suddenly felt a tightness on the back of his neck.

He looked up and saw Crookshanks's huge face facing him. It turned out that he was held in Crookshanks' mouth and turned into a helpless little black cat.

"Cats are much smarter than dogs," Wes said, and he strode forward, while Crookshanks trotted after him, holding the struggling black kitten in his mouth.

"Meow~Meow~" The little black cat kept calling, its voice full of dissatisfaction and protest, but neither Wes nor Crookshanks paid any attention to it.

Sure enough, the Dementors didn't notice Sirius Black who had turned into a kitten at all. They ignored the kitten.

Weiss walked into the headmaster's office with ease. Dumbledore was sitting at his desk, handling some matters. Seeing Weiss come in, he raised his head and his eyes fell on the little black cat in Crookshanks' mouth. He was a little curious about when Weiss had raised such a little black cat.

As for Crookshanks, he was already quite famous in the school, as everyone knew him as Hermione's pet, so he could roam freely around the campus without attracting anyone's suspicion or attention.

Dumbledore put down the work in his hands and asked gently, "Wes, what's going on? You brought a kitten to see me?" His gaze turned to Crookshanks, who gently put the little black cat on the ground. Sirius cried out in dissatisfaction, but still stood there obediently, waiting for the next arrangement.

"Headmaster, please ask Professor Lupin to come over. I will explain everything together."

Upon hearing this, Dumbledore glanced at the black kitten and noticed something unusual.

Not long after, Professor Lupin arrived at the Headmaster's office, completely unsure why he had been summoned.

Weiss saw that everyone was present and removed the Transfiguration spell on Sirius.

Sirius turned back into human form. Although Sirius's appearance had changed a little after more than ten years, Lupin still recognized his former friend at a glance.
