Chapter 80: The Problem is Serious

Seeing that Zhuang Zheng, the Five Wanderers, and the others disregarded their own safety and only wanted to save Wei Yixiao when he was injured, Yun Changkong saw that Zhuang Zheng, the Five Wanderers, and the others had done the same.

Clearly, these ruthless villains who treat human life as worthless are not all heartless and cruel; they simply have different stances.

Moreover, not only did he kill the Right Envoy of the Demonic Sect, but if he took the opportunity to kill these people here, their demise would not matter. However, after the balance of power in the martial world was lost, Abbess Miejue would gather all the sects of the martial world to exterminate the demons, which would be like kicking a dog when it's down. That would really do a good thing for the Yuan Dynasty.

Therefore, he had been inclined to intervene, especially given Abbess Miejue's prestige and status in the martial arts world, which meant she had to obey his orders.

He felt that this was not just a matter of Abbess Miejue's status and arrogant nature. The only solution was to shift the focus to hatred and see whether Abbess Miejue would kill him or leave.

Ding Minjun was greatly displeased upon hearing this, thinking, "What kind of 'loyalty over life' is this from a demonic cult? We should just kill them while they're healing. Why be so hesitant? Even if you don't kill them, do you think they won't kill you?"

Although Wei Yixiao was in pain, he was still conscious. With the help of the six experts, his true energy gradually returned to normal, and he said, "Zhuang Qishi, Tie Guan Daoist, Zhou Dian, Leng Qian, Monk Peng, I am truly ashamed to have troubled you all. You don't need to worry about me anymore!"

His relationship with Shuobude was so close that they were practically brothers, so there was no need for any formalities.

Shuobude shouted, "What's the use of saying such discouraging things? A true man doesn't care about life and death! If we leave, what face will the Ming Cult have left to stand in the martial world!"

The members of the Ming Cult nodded repeatedly.

Zhou Dian said, "You bald monk, at least you didn't fart today."

Wei Yixiao took a deep breath and said, "That's right, I was being pretentious!" He smiled bitterly and said, "Young Master Yun, do you know why Abbess Miejue hates my Ming Cult to the bone, yet she can still restrain herself and obey your orders?"

Chang Kong said casually, "That's because Abbess Miejue thinks highly of me."

Wei Yi chuckled.

Zhou Dian, his face flushed and panting, said, "Wei Yixiao, just spit it out, what the hell are you dawdling about?"

Wei Yixiao said slowly, "You know the rumors about you in the martial arts world without me having to tell you."

The disciples of the Huashan Sect said that you killed their sect leader, and sent messages to the Shaolin, Wudang, Emei and other sects, wanting to use your duel with Yin Baimei as an excuse to denounce you.

Abbess Miejue actually suspects you, which is why she wants to see your attitude towards us.

Upon hearing this, the forest fell into a deathly silence, broken only by the breathing of a few people.

Even the Emei disciples were taken aback. They looked at their master and saw her pursing her lips, her eyes flashing with a sharp light. They knew that the Huashan disciples had visited their master, but they did not know the content of their conversation.

Upon seeing Abbess Miejue's expression, Yun Changkong knew it was true, and his heart sank. He knew he had offended both the righteous and demonic factions, and with his left arm injured, defeating Yin Tianzheng in a martial arts contest would naturally be easy.

But what happens after you win?

Both the righteous and the demonic factions want to settle old scores with him, how can that be allowed?
They've fallen into this endless struggle again.

Wei Yixiao added, "I only said one thing: those renowned and righteous sects are all hypocrites and quacks. It was good that they were killed, and it was a brilliant move."

"Abbess Miejue wants to kill? Ha! She's powerless, so she wants you to do it. What kind of righteous sect does that?"

Ding Minjun sneered, "You call yourselves the Ming Cult, yet you sneak around, hanging from the eaves to spy on our sect. You have no shame!"

It's common practice to gather information by hanging from the eaves like this. However, the Emei Sect is mostly composed of women, and such behavior is hardly aboveboard. Even the Ming Cult members felt that Wei Yixiao's actions were inappropriate!

The Emei disciples blushed simultaneously, thinking to themselves, "This Senior Sister Ding says whatever comes to mind!"

Yun Changkong looked at Abbess Miejue and said, "Abbess, what do you think we should do? Whatever we do, I will do my best to assist you."

Abbess Miejue shook her head: "I was defeated by the Green-Winged Bat King, what face do I have to speak? You decide what to do!"

Ding Minjun said, "What kind of skill is Wei Yixiao, who only knows how to run away and dares not fight his master head-on!"

"Slap!" Abbess Miejue flicked her sleeve and slapped him across the face, scolding, "Master failed to save Mingxia's life and failed to catch up with him. The outcome is obvious to everyone!"

Does ability really depend entirely on self-promotion?

Upon hearing this, although the members of the Ming Cult hated Abbess Miejue, they were all impressed by her refined manners and secretly admired her.

However, Ding Minjun's pretty face was pale, her eyes were red, and tears were rolling back and forth in her eyes. But after all, she was a disciple of a famous family. She felt extremely wronged, but she could only swallow her master's anger at his defeat and accept her bad luck.

Zhou Dian shouted, "Abbess Miejue, I thought you were just an arrogant old woman, but it seems you're not so bad after all."

Yun Changkong nodded and said loudly, "Wei Yixiao, I can let today's matter go, but if you ever dare to suck the blood of any reputable sect or Han people again, I'll make sure you can't even die if you want to!"

Wei Yi smiled and said, "I have gone mad from practicing qi cultivation, and I have long since become indifferent to life and death. But who doesn't want to live?"
Abbess Miejue, you can't beat me in martial arts. But if we're talking about reason, hah, we martial artists kill each other the same way. Do you think killing with a sword is superior to killing with words?

As for Young Hero Yun, the battle on the Han River alone resulted in the deaths of thousands of people, turning the Han River red with blood.

When I use my martial arts, I merely drink blood and kill one person. But when you use your martial arts, you claim the lives of anywhere from a few to dozens, hundreds, or even thousands. Who, then, is the true demon?

Yun Changkong laughed heartily and said, "Whether you're righteous or evil, if you, Wei Yixiao, have the ability, come and seek justice from me. I wonder if you have the capability?"

Zhou Dian was furious and said, "So you also believe in the survival of the strong and the extinction of the weak. Aren't you just like us? Then what are you spouting..." Before he could finish the sentence, Peng Yingyu covered his mouth and whispered, "Zhou Dian, if you don't want to die, don't spout nonsense here!"

Yun Changkong shifted his gaze and said, "Monk Peng, you all gathered in Hubei not just to watch the show, were you?"

Before he could finish speaking, suddenly, with a whoosh, something flew from the forest, stuck into the ground, and continued to tremble.

It was a small flag, with the character "Ming" written on one side and red flames embroidered on the other.

Peng Yingyu lowered her hand, and Zhou Dian shouted, "Are Hong Shuiqi's brothers here too?"

One of them laughed loudly, "Brother Dian, you don't sound well, do you?"

Everyone turned to look, and a tall, thin man with sharp features walked out of the woods.

The Ming Cult recognized him as Tang Yang, the flag bearer of the Flood Banner. He had obviously come under the banner of Zhuang Zheng's subordinates, and was followed by a group of people dressed in white robes.

Yun Changkong heard a series of cracking sounds. When he looked up, he saw many people standing on the trees, with many black arrowheads protruding from the leaves. They glowed with blue light and were clearly poisonous.

The Emei disciples felt a chill when they saw the dozens of people behind Tang Yang holding dark spray cannons.

Abbess Miejue's expression also changed drastically. She heard the sound of the bowstring, but she didn't pay much attention to it. However, she knew that the sprayer was definitely not filled with anything good.

She guessed correctly; the liquid inside was extremely corrosive and poisonous, and anyone who touched it would rot instantly, with no chance of survival.

Zhou Dian snorted coldly and said, "Old Tang, what do you know? Everyone dies eventually. I'd rather die than be a coward." He said this to Peng Yingyu.

He was clearly dissatisfied with his show of weakness towards Yun Changkong.

Peng Yingyu smiled and said, "Young Master Yun, are you still going to compete with Yin Baimei tomorrow?"

Chang Kong said, "If we weren't going to compete, why did we come in the first place?"

Monk Peng said, "Although we have our differences with Yin Baimei, we are from the same lineage. With the martial arts competition approaching, if you injure us, people will inevitably say that you did it to distract Yin Baimei and that your victory was unfair."

Actually, there was something else he didn't say: even if we hurt you, you still can't compete with us in martial arts.

However, he knew that Yun Changkong was arrogant, and these words would be an attempt to intimidate others, which would backfire.

Chang Kong glanced at Peng Yingyu and nodded: "Master Peng, no one can try to bind me with any rules."

However, after considering the Master's recent idea, I believe it is indeed beneficial to the world. But have you discussed it with your fellow believers?

Peng Yingyu said, "We have gathered here to discuss this matter."

Zhou Dian said strangely, "Monk Peng, you son of a bitch, you're not going to spout that nonsense about joining forces with the righteous sects to drive out the Tartars again, are you?"

Peng Yingyu let out a breath and sighed, "This isn't nonsense, it's something that has to be done, there's no denying it, right?"

Shuobude nodded: "Master Peng is right. We are killing each other all day long. We not only fight the Tartars, but also fight the righteous sects of the martial arts world. If this continues, when will we be able to drive out the Tartars and return our land?"

The Emei disciples were dumbfounded. Did the Demonic Sect really have such ideas?
Zhou Dian cursed, "You two bald monks, all you do is talk nonsense! Team up? Team up my ass! They kill us the moment they see us, are we just supposed to stick our necks out and let them chop us up? Yun Changkong, you're here to spout nonsense too..."

"Zhou Dian!" Yun Changkong said coldly, "I don't care what you say to others, but you'd better watch your mouth when you talk to me. This is the first and last time, so listen carefully!"

As soon as he said this, his aura surged, authoritative yet not angry, with murderous intent surging in his eyes. Zhou Dian immediately felt as if his liver and gallbladder were about to burst, and his clothes were soaked with sweat.

The Buddhist nun Abbess Miejue was astonished when she saw Yun Changkong's imposing presence: "How can he have such a commanding yet calm demeanor?"

Many lay female disciples of Emei felt their hearts flutter.

The members of the Ming Cult felt as if a stone was pressing on their hearts, and they were all shocked: "How can this young man surnamed Yun, who has only been in the martial arts world for a short time, possess such might?"

Even though they were unwilling to admit it, they vaguely understood that after Zhang Sanfeng, Yang Dingtian, and Master Kongjian, another extraordinary master had emerged in the martial arts world.

Yun Changkong's Arhat appearance is derived from the Pagoda-Bearing Arhat, emphasizing Buddhist spirituality, possessing authority without anger, and extraordinary spiritual attainment.
Caught in his gaze, Zhou Dian's fierce glint faded, and he suddenly turned from anger to laughter: "Young Master Yun, your martial arts are far superior to mine. You can kill me if you want, it's no big deal. But I just won't accept it!"
Our Ming Cult has a blood feud with the major sects, and you yourself are no exception. Do you think we can join hands to fight the enemy?
Are you more comfortable turning your back on me, or are we more comfortable with you? Besides, are you the supreme martial arts master?

"Can you become the master of all the major sects, including Shaolin and Wudang?"

Yun Chang's tone shifted, and he laughed loudly, "That makes sense. Not to mention the grudges and entanglements between the righteous and the demonic, even individuals themselves have differing opinions."

Alright then, the appointment at Yellow Crane Tower is just around the corner. Master Peng, you and your fellow believers should discuss it carefully first.

We'll have a public discussion with all the major sects then, brainstorming ideas. What if we still disagree?

Let's arrange a time, a place, and people, and do it openly and honestly. That would be much better than resorting to underhanded tactics. What do you say?

He had a cheerful and carefree demeanor, and his voice was clear and melodious, which everyone could hear clearly.

The Emei disciples immediately buzzed with discussion.

The members of the Ming Cult exchanged glances, their faces showing surprise, all wondering, "Which side is this person really?"

Abbess Miejue frowned, her mind filled with doubt.

Yun Changkong scanned the crowd and said, "You are all high-ranking members of the Ming Cult. You should know that the enmity between your cult and the righteous sects is not the fault of everyone, but rather because of the wicked and corrupt members of your cult who indiscriminately kill innocent people, commit rape and plunder, and violate your cult's doctrine of taking the benefit of all living beings as its mission. This is why your cult's reputation has been tarnished."

As for the prestigious and righteous sects, although most of them are good people, there are also some treacherous individuals who repay kindness with enmity and are outwardly impressive but inwardly rotten.

Because both the righteous and the demonic factions have such people, but you can only know a person's face but not their heart, the entire martial arts world is mostly filled with cunning and deceit.

The two words "trust and righteousness" are highly valued by everyone. They seem to make good verbal promises, but when faced with conflicts of interest, there are many who will abandon their promises and greatly corrupt the atmosphere of the martial arts world.

As for myself, I naturally have many problems. I am not humble enough and have offended many people. The righteous figures in the martial arts world do not believe me, and I have also offended the Ming Cult. The situation is subtle and extremely difficult to explain with words. As a result, my hands are stained with blood, and I have been caught in a situation where I am attacked from both sides. I can only blame myself for this!
However, we are martial arts masters, after all. We can't act like thugs and hooligans, engaging in chaotic brawls. If anyone disagrees, let's have a one-on-one fight, a fair and square battle. Isn't that the destiny of us martial artists? Don't you agree?

Everyone thought, "So you know everything!" Then they thought, "Wouldn't it be foolish not to gang up on you?"

Peng Yingyu clasped her hands together and said, "Young Master Yun is absolutely right. As the saying goes, 'War is dangerous and perilous,' and one can lose by three points in a fight!"

Moreover, given the current situation, our infighting only benefits the Mongol Tartars. Master Yun's actions are truly well-intentioned. I will discuss this with my fellow believers. I will give you an answer tomorrow.”

It should be understood that although the Ming Cult acted in an extreme and ruthless manner, making it unacceptable to the martial arts world of the Central Plains, these high-ranking figures all respected their status and were willing to engage in duels according to the rules of the martial arts world.

Therefore, even though Yin Tianzheng was on his own turf, he did not give anyone grounds for criticism, which is why he agreed to the duel with Yun Changkong.

Yun Changkong nodded and said, "Alright, then let's do it this way!"

With a flick of his sleeve, he vanished into thin air.

As they reached the edge of the woods, the Five Elements Banners of the Ming Cult still blocked the road.

As Chang Kong's gaze swept over them, the group showed fear, but did not retreat.

Peng Yingyu clasped her hands together and bowed, saying, "Envoy Tang, please have your men step aside."

"That's right!" Zhou Dian said gruffly, "You didn't come, so they didn't kill us. Now they won't let us leave. What kind of nonsense is this?"

Yun Changkong single-handedly humiliated the Ming Cult's Protector King and the Five Wanderers, leaving them in a sorry state.

The Ming Cult members were furious, but also felt utterly humiliated. But after hearing Zhou Dian's words, they realized that even if they killed him, they might not be able to harm him, just like the Eagle Cult. The Five Elements Flag and the Ming Cult would lose all face.

Thinking of this, Zhuang Zheng said, "Old Tang, Master Peng and Zhou Dian are right. Even if we lose the battle, we shouldn't lose face!" The Five Elements Flag Bearers are like brothers. Tang Yang can disregard the reputation of the Light Messenger, the Dharma King Protector, and the Five Wanderers, but he has to listen to Zhuang Zheng.

Tang Yang sighed, waved his hand, and the Ming Cult members stepped aside to make way for Yun Changkong to walk out.

Abbess Miejue pursed her lips and said calmly, "Wei Yixiao, remember this debt for now, and settle your grudges with our sect in the future." Before she finished speaking, she had already turned and left the forest, and the Emei disciples hurriedly followed.

Abbess Miejue knew that once a chaotic battle broke out and the Ming Cult released its poisonous water, she and Yun Changkong might be safe, but most of her disciples would be injured by the poison.

It doesn't matter if she dies, but her precious disciple Zhou Zhiruo is still young and she must not act rashly!

The Ming Cult was extremely strict in its orders, and since they were told to leave, no one dared to move, though they all felt ashamed. Especially those in positions of power, who were all reminiscing about the prestige and authority of Yang Dingtian in his prime!

After a long while, Shuobude stood up and said, "Yun Changkong's reputation is known throughout the martial world. Seeing him today, I can confirm that his demeanor is indeed extraordinary."

Hearing him full of praise, Zhou Dian was furious and cursed, "You bald monk, we rushed here like galloping horses, is it just to say this kid is amazing?"

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. He looked at Wei Yixiao and said, "You old bat, don't you pride yourself on having the best lightness skill in the world?"
You fucking lose, can't you at least run away?

How did you end up in such a sorry state, making me lose face with you? If this kid is like that old nun, I'd be finished with you!

Wei Yixiao's face flushed red and then turned pale. After a long while, he said in a low voice, "I didn't know he was Yun Changkong. I just felt that he had great internal strength. I was excited and wanted to test his skills. Who knew that there was such a person in the world!"

"Fan Yao! Yin Baimei!" Leng Qian said only two names.

The members of the Ming Cult all wore solemn expressions.

Zhou Dian's eyes widened even more, and he exclaimed, "Yeah, I still want to avenge Fan Yao! But he didn't take advantage of us today, so how are we going to get revenge later? Besides, Poison Bat is no match for this kid, and Yin Baimei is no better."

Zhuang Zheng laughed loudly and said, "This matter is easy to handle. He originally wanted to fight me, but the fight didn't happen. After he deals with the old man with white eyebrows, I will avenge Fan Yao. I don't think he will refuse! Whether we win or lose, it will be considered as fulfilling our duty as fellow believers."

Tang Yang snorted coldly and said, "Old Yin is unworthy of the praise of the martial arts world. A narrow-minded person like him even founded his own sect, which is really damaging to the reputation of the Ming Cult!"

"Hmph! We'll just wait and see this old man get beaten to a pulp tomorrow!"

"Ha ha……"

The Five Elements Flags members all burst into laughter.

The Ming Cult is now in complete chaos.

Yang Xiao led the four sects of Heaven, Earth, Wind, and Thunder in one group, the Five Wanderers in another, Wei Yixiao had a life-or-death friendship with Shuobude, but his relationship with the others was just so-so.

The Five Elements Flag gang is sworn enemies of the Sky Eagle Sect and will fight them on sight!
Today, it was only Wei Yixiao and his group who suffered a setback. If it were Yin Tianzheng, the Five Elements Flag would definitely have stood by and watched.

Abbess Miejue chased them out of the forest. Changkong was already ten zhang away. She said, "Wait a moment, I have something to ask you."

Chang Kong stopped abruptly. Abbess Miejue caught up and asked, "Did you really kill Master Xianyu of Mount Hua?"

Chang Kong hummed in agreement.

Abbess Miejue was filled with shock and anger, but then she let out a long breath and said, "What have you been through these past few days? Can you tell me?"

She knew that Yun Changkong hadn't even killed members of the Demonic Sect, yet he had killed Xianyu Tong, which must have been for a very important reason.

Chang Kong smiled slightly and said, "Sure!"

He also had some questions to ask Abbess Miejue.

Abbess Miejue said, "Come on, get on my boat."

The group arrived at the riverside dock, where the Emei disciples hired a boat and headed east to Wuchang.

Abbess Miejue said, "Today, our Emei Sect is in trouble. If it weren't for Young Master Yun's righteous help, the Green-Winged Bat King would have been able to show off his power. Now that we are going to Wuchang together, even though we are women, we cannot rely on Young Master Yun's protection to lower our guard."

"Yes!" the Emei disciples responded in unison.

The nun was one thing, but the elegant attire and charming greetings from the laywoman made Yun Changkong feel like he was surrounded by women, so he could only politely offer a few words of humility.

Abbess Miejue said, "Zhiruo, go and make tea."

"Yes."

Zhou Zhiruo responded softly.

Yun Changkong looked at the woman and realized that the little girl had grown even more beautiful in the half month since he last saw her.

Zhou Zhiruo glanced at him and nodded slightly: "Young Master Yun".

Seeing that she appeared gentle but unintentionally revealed a hint of aloofness, Chang Kong thought to himself, "It's still more comfortable to be with Zhao Min."

"Young Master Yun!" Chang Kongzheng was commenting.

Suddenly, he heard Abbess Miejue shout. He turned around and saw her staring at him with a cold look in her eyes.

Yun Changkong was somewhat embarrassed, so he hurriedly stepped in and said, "Master!"

Abbess Miejue raised her long eyebrows and asked, "Is there something wrong with you?"

"A problem?" Chang Kong laughed, "I'm fine!"

Abbess Miejue said, "Come in with me!"

Chang Kong and she entered the cabin, which was exquisitely clean with windows on all four sides and a round table in the center.

Zhou Zhiruo served tea, and Bei Jinyi presented several kinds of fruit.
Abbess Miejue glanced at Bei Jinyi, and she immediately withdrew.

Yun Changkong felt thirsty, so he picked up a fruit and ate it, behaving like the master of the house.

Abbess Miejue looked at Zhou Zhiruo and said, "This is my most valued disciple. Let her serve me here and hear about the dangers of the martial world."

Chang Kong laughed and said, "The master's successor is one of my own."

Zhou Zhiruo blushed, somewhat embarrassed. She glanced at Chang Kong and said softly, "I wouldn't dare say that." She sat quietly to the side.

The aroma of tea was delightful, and the boat was filled with beautiful women. Yun Changkong and Abbess Miejue sat facing each other by the window, talking about his experiences with Fan Yao and Li Tianyuan. Although he had almost lost his life, he was still in high spirits and spoke vividly about it, until he mentioned Xianyu Tong.

Suddenly, Abbess Miejue slammed her hand on the table and stood up abruptly.

Zhou Zhiruo was taken aback.

"Outrageous! This is a disgrace to any reputable sect!"

Abbess Miejue initially thought that Changkong was too inconsiderate to kill the leader of the righteous sect. However, after hearing about Xianyu Tong's actions, she secretly cursed him for being vicious and for killing him too easily.

Abbess Miejue slowly said, "Then how will you escape danger?"

Chang Kong recounted the story of Granny Jin Hua, but the Purple-Robed Dragon King naturally didn't mention it.

Abbess Miejue looked surprised, then gave a bitter smile, and said, "I believe you, but unfortunately Xianyu Tong has always had a good reputation and is a well-known gentleman in the martial arts world."

His disciples also believed he was protecting you, yet he died under mysterious circumstances. Furthermore, the disciples who went to search for him also died. The Huashan Sect wants to ask the Shaolin, Wudang, and other major sects to uphold justice.

At this point, a hint of worry appeared on his face.

Zhou Zhiruo couldn't help but say, "But it was Granny Jin Hua who killed her. Young Master Yun, just tell us the truth and that's fine."

Abbess Miejue said, "Let's not even talk about how Granny Jin Hua saved Chang Kong's life. Last year, Granny Jin Hua harmed disciples from the Kongtong and Huashan sects. If she is implicated, people in the martial arts world will think that Chang Kong conspired with her to harm him, making things even more complicated."

Chang Kong sighed softly, "Normally, it wouldn't be a big deal. If they wanted revenge, they could have done it. But I've had enough of this fighting and killing. To be honest, Master, I don't even want to keep the appointment. I just want to find a beautiful place to live in seclusion."

Abbess Miejue's expression changed, and Zhou Zhiruo opened her mouth, but no sound came out.

Chang Kong slowly picked up the teapot, poured a cup full, and said, "Just like now, sailing on the river, with beautiful women by my side, sitting and sipping tea, discussing martial arts and philosophy, that's what people should be doing. Always fighting and killing is too boring."

Abbess Miejue showed a hint of helplessness as she slowly sat down: "You have now reached a new level of skill, which is an extraordinary achievement. In this chaotic world, you should be making great strides and accomplishing something great. How can you think like this?"

Chang Kong sighed, "It is precisely because my skills have improved that I have no choice but to do this."

"Why?" Zhou Zhiruo was also taken aback, then suddenly realized: "You did it for that Mongolian princess?"

Yun Changkong's eyes flashed with a sharp light.

Zhou Zhiruo was so frightened that her face turned pale. She quickly lowered her head and whispered, "It was just that I believed the rumors. Young Master Yun, please don't mind."

"If it wasn't for the Mongol princess, then what was it for?" Abbess Miejue paused, gazed at the sky, and said, "Is there anything we can't say?"

Yun Changkong glanced at Zhou Zhiruo and said, "Master, you are a great Buddhist master. Have you ever heard the saying that the stronger the compassion in Shaolin martial arts, the stronger the martial arts, but the stronger the martial arts, the weaker the compassion, and the greater the harm to one's body?"

Abbess Miejue's phoenix eyes flashed. She suddenly stood up, walked slowly to the window, looked up at the sky, and said, "This is the first time I've heard this, but with Emei martial arts, if one's heart is not pure, it's difficult to learn the highest level. The Shaolin internal energy you've learned should be similar. So, are you saying this because you've discovered some problem?"

Chang Kong saw Zhou Zhiruo standing there intently, seemingly listening very carefully to what he was saying. He sighed softly, "Master, don't blame me for being unambitious. Regardless of the struggles between the righteous sects, the demonic sect, and the Yuan court, I am truly too preoccupied with my own affairs to care about anything else."

Seeing that he was sullen and completely different from before, Abbess Miejue said, "Come with me!" She went to the bow of the boat and sat down.

Chang Kong sat beside her, gazing at the river and listening to its roar. Abbess Miejue whispered, "Is there a problem with their martial arts?"

Chang Kong nodded: "I reckon his meridians are about to rupture!"

He thought of Master Xuancheng, the greatest martial artist in the world of Tianlong for the past two hundred years, and how he suddenly suffered the fate of having all his meridians severed, and he felt lingering fear.

Abbess Miejue was startled again. Seeing that he was in good spirits, she said, "Don't joke with me."

Chang Kong said, "Master, now that things have come to this, I will not hide it from you anymore. This all started with the divine skill I cultivated." He then recounted the eighteen Arhats of the Arhat Subduing Demon Skill.

Abbess Miejue was astonished, her long eyebrows twitching repeatedly. After Changkong finished speaking, she took his arm and felt his pulse, finding that his breathing was faint but his pulse was strong and powerful.

After a long silence, she finally let go and sighed, "No wonder you have such profound and unfathomable internal strength at your age." Saying this, she shook her head repeatedly, "What a pity."

"Master!" Yun Changkong said with great concern, feeling his mouth dry, "I don't understand much about Buddhist principles. With you like this, I feel like I'm about to die."

Suddenly, Abbess Miejue moved her left palm with lightning speed, swiftly striking his vital "Xuanji" acupoint on his chest. Her right hand struck sideways, aiming for his ribs, as she shouted, "You can't distinguish right from wrong..." With that, she launched her attack into the air.

Chang Kong brushed her right arm with his right hand in a swift motion, then struck her pulse point with his elbow, as fast as lightning.

The two sat locked in combat, their moves exquisite and their strength extraordinary. When the Emei disciples heard the noise and came out to see what was happening, they assumed the two were shoving each other.

Just as Abbess Miejue's palms were about to collide with Yun Changkong's attack, she suddenly clenched her hands and pressed down, repeatedly saying, "Good and evil are indistinguishable!"

Yun Changkong flipped his hand over and placed it against her palm. He immediately felt a heat in her palm, and a surge of true energy, like a raging sea, rushed towards him.

Yun Changkong didn't want to fight head-on and was eager to stop, but he felt a sticky force on his opponent's hand, and he couldn't pull it off immediately.

Abbess Miejue said, "You are a lecherous man! You are entangled with Mongolian women and even covet my little disciple!"

The Emei disciples all turned to look at Zhou Zhiruo, and Ding Minjun even gave a slight sneer. Zhou Zhiruo blushed with embarrassment and hurriedly lowered her head, twisting the hem of her clothes with her hands.

"I didn't!" Yun Changkong shouted, his true energy surging. Abbess Miejue felt a surge of internal energy rushing towards her from Changkong's palm like a stampede of ten thousand horses.

Abbess Miejue slightly withdrew her palm strike, then leaped into the air, performing five or six somersaults before finally landing.

Her body floated gracefully and landed perfectly on the bow of the moving boat. Such agility left all the Emei disciples mesmerized.

Abbess Miejue looked at Changkong and saw that his face was as red as blood, his eyes were closed, and the corners of his eyes twitched slightly, revealing great pain.

Abbess Miejue coldly said, "All of you, return to your cabins!" The Emei disciples immediately retreated.

Abbess Miejue turned to look at Jiang Tao and said slowly, "Your problem is indeed very serious. There are three ways to solve it."
