Arhats Subduing Demons: Starting with The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber

Chapter 81 Confidentiality
As soon as Abbess Miejue finished speaking, Yun Changkong's expression returned to normal. He slowly stood up, took a long breath, bowed to Abbess Miejue, and said, "May I ask for details?"
Abbess Miejue said, "You've already thought of the first method. Stay away from worldly strife, find a quiet place, meditate facing the wall, and subdue your inner demons!"
"Meditation?" Yun Changkong smiled bitterly. "If I had such concentration, I probably wouldn't be like this."
Abbess Miejue sighed and said, "Your internal strength is profound, far surpassing even the top masters in the martial world. Perhaps only Zhang Sanfeng, with his century of cultivation, could defeat you. But do you know why your divine skill is so powerful?"
Yun Changkong looked bewildered. He knew that the "Arhat Subduing Demon Skill" was powerful, but he really didn't understand why this internal skill was so powerful.
The reason is that the "Arhat Subduing Demons Skill" only has the method of relying on luck, but no one knows how to rely on luck but not why.
"I don't know where you got this internal skill from!"
The Abbess Miejue, a grandmaster of her generation, not only possessed extremely high martial arts skills, but also extraordinary cultivation and insight. She looked at Jiang Tao and said, "From what I have seen, this internal skill is exquisite and unparalleled. Logically speaking, one must have a profound internal strength as a foundation to cultivate it best."
But you must have had some extraordinary stroke of luck to have mastered such a skill at such a young age. Given your current internal strength, this hidden danger has come too late.
Chang Kong thought that there was only one person who could cultivate the "Arhat Subduing Demon Skill"—Shi Potian. When Shi Potian practiced it, he already had the profound internal strength cultivated by the "Blazing Skill." The water was already stored, so it was a natural process. He said, "Please give me your guidance, Master."
Abbess Miejue asked, "How do you understand the saying, 'Put down the butcher's knife and become a Buddha on the spot'?"
Yun Changkong thought for a moment and said, "Doesn't this mean that Buddhism has the virtue of cherishing life and emphasizes compassion? As long as a person has a repentant heart, he should be given a way to start anew?"
Of course, is this also what is criticized as false compassion?
Abbess Miejue sneered, "You are no different from those ignorant people who misinterpret Buddhist teachings!"
Yun Changkong's face flushed.
Abbess Miejue said, "Buddhism saves the world, saves people, and saves oneself; in fact, it saves the mind."
The saying "Put down the butcher's knife and become a Buddha on the spot" has a prerequisite: that person is inherently evil, that evil has become a habit, and that he will not think that he is wrong or that he is doing evil.
Just like the Green-Winged Bat King sucking people's blood, he felt that sucking blood to survive was no different from killing people with a sword, so he felt at ease sucking blood.
So for such a person to realize their mistakes and deeply regret their past wrongdoings, that's not just empty talk.
Instead, one must use supreme concentration to cleanse the mind and heart of all defilements in order to achieve this!
Therefore, when his mind is pure and settled, he is a Buddha!
The Buddha said, "If I don't go to hell, who will?" So, since he has committed sins, even if he repents, whether others will seek revenge depends on them.
Having attained Buddhahood, life and death must be the same for him.
Contrary to what many people believe, evil people can erase their sins and become Buddhas simply by saying they have repented, shaving their heads, and wearing monk's robes.
That kind of person doesn't even qualify as a Buddhist disciple.
Chang Kong nodded: "Yes, the true meaning of Buddhism, like the maxims of Confucianism, has been taken out of context by many people and used as a reason to attack the other side."
Abbess Miejue nodded slightly: "People only know how to cultivate their conduct, but not their hearts; they only cultivate their methods."
The idea that actions speak louder than words, and that no one is perfect, is certainly true for ordinary people.
But for someone like you who practices the great methods of Buddhism, this is a grave taboo. If you cannot be consistent in your thoughts and actions, disaster will inevitably arise!
Yun Changkong sighed, "So, I really have to become a monk."
Abbess Miejue shook her head: "If you become a monk, you can find peace, clear your mind, and calm your heart."
Zen Buddhism teaches that the mind itself is Buddha. As long as one can calm the restless mind and maintain a righteous heart and mind, what difference does it make whether one is a monk or not? But if one's six senses are not pure, what is the difference between being a monk and a layperson?
We may not have been truly sincere in our decision to become monks, but we were certainly disheartened. You, though you've sensed something is wrong, haven't given up, have you?
Chang Kong lowered his head and remained silent; naturally, he would not give up.
When you encounter a problem, just find a way to solve it.
Giving up is not his style!
Abbess Miejue asked, "What exactly is your relationship with that Mongol princess?"
Although Chang Kong told her about the events in Kaifeng and the Han River, he omitted Zhao Min. Although Abbess Miejue did not know the truth of the matter, she knew what had happened, which was extremely shocking. In that situation, if no one had come to Chang Kong's rescue, he would not have been able to escape unscathed.
Chang Kong didn't say anything, so she didn't feel comfortable asking. She could only keep her doubts in her heart, but she finally asked them now.
After a slight hesitation, Yun Changkong recounted how Zhao Min had helped him twice on the Han River.
Abbess Miejue nodded and said, "I have never accepted any favors in my life." She paused and then said, "If it weren't for her saving you, I'm afraid you would be like Fan Yao, perishing in these raging waves!"
He sighed and said, "Since ancient times, it has always been difficult to bear the weight of a debt of gratitude!"
Chang Kong sighed inwardly. Since he met Zhao Min, if it were just a matter of differing stances, they would have simply killed each other, and that would have been fine. But this little girl always acted as if she was helping him, while saying she was trying to harm him, which made him extremely confused.
Abbess Miejue then asked, "And what about the Demonic Sect?"
They have never done you any favors, yet you showed them mercy. What was your reason for that?
Do you really believe that their gathering is, as Peng Yingyu and Shuobudeshuo claim, a coalition of prestigious sects—a load of nonsense?
Chang Kong said, "Regardless of why they gathered here, the fact that the righteous sects and the demonic sects have become enemies will surely please the Yuan court."
Abbess Miejue asked, "What conflict is there between exterminating demons and opposing the Yuan Dynasty? Between the demonic sect and the righteous sects, who do you ultimately agree with?"
Yun Changkong thought for a moment, sighed, and said, "Master, regardless of who you agree with, the Mongol dynasty's fate is sealed. It is time to restore the Han people's rule. If destroying the Demonic Sect leads to the Mongol Tartars still occupying the Central Plains, what will you do?"
Abbess Miejue raised her eyebrows and said, "That's utter nonsense. From what you're saying, expelling the Tartars and restoring our land can't be accomplished without the Demonic Sect?"
"I can't say that!" Chang Kong gave a wry smile: "But I'm just saying, in case!"
What if, while the evil cult still exists, the Tartars are driven out, but the righteous sects then destroy the evil cult, and the Tartars, unable to drive them out, end up destroying us instead? What good would it do to continue ruling the country?
Abbess Miejue glanced at him and said calmly, "I think you've truly fallen into demonic possession. What kind of nonsense are you thinking about? With so many distracting thoughts, it's impossible for you not to suffer a qi deviation!"
Yun Changkong nodded silently; this was the most unspeakable thing.
He knew perfectly well that in the original timeline, the Mongols were driven back to the grasslands, and the Ming Cult had played a crucial role in that. But if the Ming Cult were to be wiped out now, who could guarantee that the Mongols would be driven out?
We've driven the Mongols away; whether the Ming Cult lives or dies is irrelevant!
Even Zhu Yuanzhang did it! So what?
But even if we destroy the evil cult, what if we can't drive away the Mongols?
This isn't some historical world; here, Zhu Yuanzhang is just a minor leader of the Flood Banner, and his leader and sect have been wiped out. For him to still be causing trouble under the Ming Cult banner is simply absurd!
It doesn't matter if Abbess Miejue and the others can't predict what kind of reaction they might take against the Demonic Sect or what consequences it might cause.
Ignorance is no excuse!
But what about yourself?
But we know this, and if in the end, even without the Ming Cult, the Mongols still occupy the world, it will have a huge impact!
The disappearance of the Eagle Cult won't affect the course of events, but the Ming Cult is definitely different!
Abbess Miejue sighed deeply, “You killed Xianyu Tong. Even if he was a scoundrel, you cannot be allowed to kill him! The entire Huashan Sect will surely regard you as an enemy. If you continue to speak for the Demonic Sect, the righteous people will regard you as an outcast, and your situation will be precarious.”
Yun Changkong said, "Does my own life have to be used to prove my loyalty to others by taking the lives of others? I can kill if I want to, and I can choose not to kill if I don't want to. I don't care about such things!"
Although Abbess Miejue didn't say anything when she saw how proud he was, she admired him greatly in her heart.
A person cannot stand without backbone!
Both were lost in their own thoughts and remained silent for a moment.
When Abbess Miejue saw him, he was always deep in thought, sometimes beaming with excitement, and sometimes sitting like an old monk in meditation.
Abbess Miejue couldn't help but say, "I dare not practice this skill anymore."
Yun Changkong came to his senses and stood there stunned for a while before realizing that he had been practicing his martial arts. He smiled and asked, "What insightful opinion does the nun have?"
Abbess Miejue said, "Anyone who cultivates internal energy to the highest level will inevitably develop inner demons!"
The more refined one's internal energy, the greater its power; the more powerful it becomes when it erupts, the more difficult it is to subdue.
Because martial arts are essentially a way to use strength to defeat weakness, the desire to kill arises naturally when one sees injustice or unfairness!
Furthermore, youthful infatuation is a great human desire. As I have always forbidden my disciples from venturing into the world, they must either become nuns and cultivate in seclusion in the mountains, or marry and raise children, keeping their talents hidden.
"It's me. People now say I'm cold-blooded and ruthless, but that wasn't always the case. It's just that as my martial arts skills have improved, my desires have grown stronger."
Yun Changkong's heart pounded as he listened, and he asked, "So how did you overcome that?"
"Meditation!" Abbess Miejue said, "I have been a Buddhist for decades, sitting on the lotus platform diligently practicing Buddhism, but this stubborn nature has not yet been eliminated. Therefore, although my martial arts are strong, I cannot reach the pinnacle. This is also due to my obsession and delusion, and there is no way to change it."
If you cannot cultivate to the state of a steadfast and unwavering Zen mind, with eyes empty of all things, the deeper your mastery of this demon-subduing technique, the greater the harm it will cause you!
Chang Kong was deeply disappointed and said, "If even the abbess is like this, what about me! It seems that even if this Shaolin divine skill falls into my hands, it won't be so good."
Abbess Miejue smiled and said, "Shaolin martial arts emphasize gradual progress. When I first started learning martial arts, I not only practiced martial arts, but also meditated!"
This is because Shaolin martial arts are upright and righteous; if one cannot maintain a pure and upright mind, they cannot unleash their full power. Have you ever heard of the four Shaolin monks known for their "insight, knowledge, wisdom, and nature"? Who do you think has the greatest reputation and the highest martial arts skills?
Chang Kong said, "Naturally, it is Master Kongjian."
Abbess Miejue shook her head, then nodded: "It's true that Master Kongjian has the highest martial arts skills, but his reputation in the martial arts world is far inferior to that of my three junior brothers. What does that mean?"
Chang Kong said, "Because he has no competitive spirit, doesn't care about the affairs of the martial world, and his Buddhist cultivation is higher than that of his three junior brothers, his martial arts are naturally also higher."
Abbess Miejue laughed and said, "It's so easy to talk to you. So your current situation is due to your internal strength being too profound and your mental state being deficient."
After Bodhidharma came to the East and discussed the Dao in the martial arts world, why did the Shaolin Temple have the incident of him meditating facing the wall? In fact, it was because his martial arts skills were too high and there was too much fighting and killing, which greatly violated his original intention. That's why he meditated facing the wall for nine years to make his will firm and complete, subdue all demons, and achieve immortality!
Therefore, since your internal strength has reached such a level, the inner demons you experience are far beyond those of ordinary people. If you do not cultivate Zen meditation and diligently train your concentration, once your true energy is greatly depleted, you will inevitably suffer a qi deviation and fall into demonic possession.
"His true energy was greatly depleted?" Yun Changkong gasped. The events at the Han River that day were exactly as Abbess Miejue had predicted.
"Then what about the second method?" Chang Kong let out a long sigh. He knew that if he were asked to meditate, let alone for years, even days or months, that wouldn't work.
Abbess Miejue said, "The reason why your internal skill has such divine power is because these eighteen forms have integrated eighteen kinds of Dharma intent."
However, your nature cannot be integrated with these eighteen signs, so although your internal strength is strong, you do not actually have the ability to control it.
And every time you unleash your divine power, the harm to your mind and spirit increases.
My words just now caused your internal energy to become uncontrollable. If I hadn't dodged quickly, you would either be seriously injured and fall into the water, or have your bones broken!
Yun Changkong's face flushed. Just now, when he heard Abbess Miejue's words, his mind was filled with all sorts of thoughts. He pictured the arrogant and noble face of the Purple-Robed Dragon King, as beautiful as a flower, and Zhao Min in green, barefoot, standing gracefully among the clouds and water, laughing charmingly, which made his blood boil.
Therefore, he unleashed his inner strength, which shook off Abbess Miejue.
Chang Kong bowed again: "Master, that was not my intention. I apologize to you."
Abbess Miejue gently shook her head: "It is dangerous precisely because it was not your intention! Although I deliberately provoked you, it also shows that demons are growing in your heart and your mind is in chaos. You can no longer control your true energy at will."
Yun Changkong nodded and said, "Yes, I've found myself to be easily angered and hateful. My emotions and thoughts change very easily. I may have a judgment and a plan in mind, but it's easy for me to change my mind depending on the situation."
“This is not surprising.” Abbess Miejue pointed to the river: “Water changes with the terrain, but its essence is still water.”
However, the way of martial arts, whether it is techniques, external skills, or internal skills, is actually controlled by the mind.
Your Demon-Subduing Technique contains eighteen kinds of spiritual intent. To perfectly control your true energy, you must achieve communion with its spiritual intent.
However, your nature is incompatible with many of the Dharma's characteristics, such as simplicity or compassion for all beings; you lack this state of mind. Each time you practice it, your mental energy is depleted. Over time, this inevitably leads to mental and emotional stagnation.
Normally it's nothing, but if you encounter an equally skilled opponent, or if you are surrounded by multiple people and it's a life-or-death struggle, your internal energy will be pushed to its limit.
Or perhaps someone has stirred up your inner demons, causing you to lose your composure and your inner energy to clash. Would you even survive then?
At this point, she looked at the sky again and whispered, "Moreover, the superior internal energy of Buddhism and Taoism, once it is acquired, will have continuous power whether you are walking, sitting or lying down. In particular, your internal energy surpasses ordinary internal energy cultivation methods."
These eighteen aspects are like eighteen people living inside your body. Even if you don't practice, your true energy will grow on its own. However, if your mental state and cultivation can't keep up, you will naturally find it difficult to bear.
When your true energy is strong, you can barely control your divine skill. But if you encounter a formidable enemy, and your mind and true energy weaken, the harm of the seven emotions, six desires, and three poisons will all come at once. Even the divine skill can control you, and naturally your true energy will go out of control, causing your meridians to burst. This is the root cause of what is known as "going into demonic possession."
Yun Changkong thought of Xuan Cheng's severed meridians, Yang Dingtian's reversed true qi leading to his death from qi deviation, and Xie Xun's occasional madness.
Originally, the purpose of practicing martial arts was to defeat enemies, but in the end, the martial arts were ruined by the user's own skills. Isn't that just a case of internal energy controlling a person?
Abbess Miejue sighed and said, "People have too many distracting thoughts. Not to mention you, countless eminent monks and virtuous masters have spent their entire lives in meditation or ascetic practices, all in order to subdue the evil thoughts and delusions in their hearts, that is, the demons in their hearts."
However, if one is not careful, one will suffer a backlash, and the deeper one's skill, the harder it is to resist!
As the saying goes, the way of Heaven is to take from those who have more and give to those who have less. Therefore, those who become strong have to pay the price and even lose something that ordinary people cannot bear.
This is the way of Heaven!
No one can change that!
My grandmaster wasn't much older than Zhang Sanfeng, yet she passed away so many years ago. Ultimately, it was because she had too many obsessions and did too many things that went against her true nature.
"I understand now," Yun Changkong said suddenly. "You want me to abandon the use of the other Dharma Aspects and meridians, and only choose one Dharma Aspect to cultivate that is in harmony with my temperament!"
"You're teachable!" Abbess Miejue nodded: "If you like to laugh, choose the 'Raising Hands in Celebration, Heart Blossoming' face; if you like to make a fuss, choose the 'Brave and Fierce Demon' face."
As long as one aligns with the divine will and doesn't try to merge with the eighteen forms, there's no risk of going astray in cultivation.
Chang Kong said dejectedly, "But then, where is my advantage? Wouldn't all my hard work in practicing be for nothing?"
Abbess Miejue said gently, "Buddhism teaches giving. What is giving? You can only give if you have something to give."
Similarly, one must give up something to gain something. The Book of Changes says, "Without giving, there is gain; without giving, there is no gain; great giving brings great gain; small giving brings small gain." Your internal skill shouldn't exist in the first place; one could say it defies the will of Heaven.
"To defy the laws of Heaven?" Chang Kong was taken aback.
Abbess Miejue glanced at him and laughed, "Among me, the Green-Winged Bat King, the White-Browed Eagle King, and the Xuanming Elders, who is not exceptionally talented, gifted, and possessing superior martial arts? Yet, after decades of hard study, we are still no match for your five years of skill. Doesn't such divine skill incur the envy of the heavens?"
The saying "A tree that stands out in the forest will surely be felled by the wind" means that if you want to gain abilities that ordinary people do not have, then you must accept hardships that ordinary people do not have.
I have never heard of a strong person who had a simple past and a life of ease.
They have all experienced pain and torment beyond their years. If you only want the benefits and not the losses, it's ultimately a pipe dream, a fool's fantasy!
Chang Kong naturally understands this principle, but understanding is one thing and doing is another. Who doesn't want to reap the benefits without suffering?
He sighed and said, "Master, what about the third method?"
Abbess Miejue narrowed her eyes, staring silently at the vast sky.
Yun Changkong asked, "Master, what's wrong?"
Abbess Miejue sighed and said, "If you try the first two methods now, you will definitely be able to get rid of your inner demons with your abilities. As for the third method, you will have to pay a lot, but it may not work!"
Chang Kong shook his head and said, "I only do meditation and giving up my energy as a last resort. If there were other methods, I would like to try them."
Abbess Miejue stared at Jiang Tao, lost in thought. After a long while, she said, "Does anyone else know about your current problems?"
"No!" Chang Kong shook his head and said, "I only told you one thing!"
"Why?" Abbess Miejue turned her head, looked him up and down, and said, "Now that I know your weakness, aren't you afraid I'll harm you?"
Chang Kong smiled slightly and said, "I know that Master is cold on the outside but warm on the inside, and has an extraordinary demeanor. If I go against the grain, Master will kill me! But she will never harm someone who has opened their heart to you!"
Abbess Miejue was the head of the Emei Sect, possessing both high martial arts skills and a prestigious position. She looked down on everyone else. Moreover, she was always proud and arrogant; her previous politeness towards Changkong was solely due to his consideration for her. Seeing Changkong's sincerity, she sighed and slowly said, "Have you heard of the Nine Yin Manual?"
Upon hearing this, Yun Changkong was greatly surprised. Looking at Abbess Miejue, he asked in astonishment, "How come I've never heard of that? Doesn't everyone in the martial arts world say I have it?"
Abbess Miejue turned her gaze to the tall trees on both sides of the river and said softly, "That's just hearsay."
The Nine Yin Manual may have some techniques among the people in the world today, but to say that one has received the true transmission of the Nine Yin Divine Skill and can help you overcome your inner demons, there is absolutely no one who can!
A sudden inspiration struck Yun Changkong: "That's right, the original Nine Yin Manual contains a great technique to guide inner demons into supernatural powers. How come I didn't think of that?"
Actually, he knew this was the general outline, known only to Guo Jing and Huang Rong; Yang Guo wouldn't know it either! The question is, after the Condor Heroes ended, would Yang Guo have passed it on to the woman in yellow?
Moreover, even the Nine Yin Manual might not be able to suppress the Arhat Subduing Demon Skill, so having it might not be useful, and naturally, that wasn't considered.
Just as she was lost in thought, she heard Abbess Miejue say, "Do you remember the question I asked you to ask Yin Baimei in Zhuxian Town?"
After a few moments of thought, Chang Kong blurted out, "Where is Xie Xun?"
With a whoosh, Abbess Miejue drew her long sword from her back. With her right middle finger, she lightly flicked the spine of the sword, and a resounding "clang" echoed across the river, so loud that even the river water could not drown it out.
Abbess Miejue held her longsword horizontally, her left index and middle fingers lightly stroking the blade. The cold, gleaming sword reflected her resolute and determined gaze as she slowly said, "The supreme weapon of the martial world, the Dragon-Slaying Saber, commands the world, none dare disobey. Without the Heaven-Reliant Sword, who can contend with it!"
Chang Kong said, "Everyone talks about this, but no one knows what it means."
For a long, long time, Abbess Miejue stood there motionless, her fingers and gaze moving over the dazzling longsword. Suddenly, she said, "The secret of the Nine Yin Manual is hidden within this Heaven-Slaying Sword!"
A look of surprise suddenly flashed across Yun Changkong's face.
Even though he already knew about this, he never expected that Abbess Miejue would bring it up to him on her own initiative.
Abbess Miejue looked at Changkong and said, "You are a very good person. I was delighted when I first saw you, which is why I asked you to find out Xie Xun's whereabouts. Although we have different opinions on some things, your upright character is the true nature of a man."
The Nine Yin Manual is hailed as the ultimate guide to all martial arts, encompassing everything.
"Given your formidable skill and the depth of your inner demons, if you don't want to choose between meditation and abandoning your cultivation, perhaps this is the only place you can seek liberation. But without the Dragon-Slaying Saber, my efforts to help you are futile!"
Upon hearing this, Yun Changkong felt a surge of blood rush to his cheeks, his heart pounding with emotion, and he was unable to utter a single word.
He never expected that Abbess Miejue would be so completely open with him. Although he knew that Yin Tianzheng didn't know Xie Xun's whereabouts, and no one in the world knew his whereabouts, even Zhang Wuji only knew that he was overseas, and whether he could be found was another matter.
But the fact that Abbess Miejue was willing to tell me the secrets concerning the Nine Yin Manual shows that she truly didn't consider me an outsider!
Seeing his excitement, Abbess Miejue knew that the Nine Yin Manual was a coveted treasure for any martial artist, so she wasn't surprised. She said, "This is just a possibility. Your Buddhist internal energy is too powerful. The Nine Yin Manual might not be useful. Don't be too happy." With a flick of her sleeve, she went into the cabin.
Yun Changkong was well aware of this principle.
He was practicing the "Arhat Subduing Demon Skill," the supreme internal skill of Buddhism, and even the Nine Yin Manual might not be of any use.
With the current and the wind at your back, the boat is going very fast.
As night deepened, they had already entered Wuchang territory.
Hundreds of boats crowded the river, their masts standing tall, their white sails like feathers.
Abbess Miejue said, "So many people have come."
Zhou Zhiruo smiled and said, "I suppose everyone wants to catch a glimpse of Young Master Yun's charm!"
Ding Minjun said, "I don't think so."
As night deepened, the disciples of Emei camped out by the river. To avoid suspicion, Yun Changkong rested on a tree on the riverbank.
Just as I was enjoying the sound of the rising and falling waves of the river, I suddenly heard a few melodious notes of a guqin coming from the woods on the riverbank.
The sound of the zither could not be drowned out by the sound of the river waves; this person's inner strength was truly remarkable. Yun Changkong's mind was shaken.
Immediately afterwards, another "clang" sound was heard.
But then Abbess Miejue said loudly, "Is this Mr. Tieqin?"
Yun Changkong turned his head and saw that she was already standing at the bow of the ship.
As soon as she spoke, the music stopped, and a clear and gentle voice came from the forest, saying, "I dare not, has the Abbess Miejue arrived?"
Abbess Miejue asked, "Mr. Tieqin, what is your purpose in playing this elegant piece?"
A sharp voice suddenly rang out: "Master, don't you know? On Mount Wudang, Yun Changkong showed off his power in front of my disciple. My husband and I would like to meet him."
Abbess Miejue immediately recognized them as He Taichong, the leader of Kunlun Sect, and his wife Ban Shuxian.
Chang Kong was well aware that beating Xi Hua Zi and the others would attract the attention of the Kunlun Sect Leader. He was about to speak when he saw Abbess Miejue shaking her head, so he had to swallow his words.
Abbess Miejue said, "We can talk about it tomorrow. This old nun needs to rest tonight."
He Taichong said, "Alright! Since that's what you say, Master, let's go!"
Ban Shuxian said, "I only wish that Hero Yun will have great fortune and be safe tomorrow!"
Abbess Miejue said calmly, "Farewell, and don't bother seeing me off!"
"clank……"
The music faded into silence.
Abbess Miejue looked at Chang Kong and said calmly, "You also have a grudge against the Kunlun Sect?"
Chang Kong smiled slightly and said, "I simply defeated Xi Hua Zi and broke their sword formation."
Abbess Miejue said angrily, "Who do you think you are? And what important business do you have to attend to? Why are you arguing with a good-for-nothing?"
Seeing the look of disappointment on her face, Yun Changkong thought to himself, "If it were you, you'd probably be even more ruthless than me!"
Suddenly, a hoarse voice called out, "Master, you are a senior in the martial arts world and a nun. How can you speak so hurtfully?"
How am I an incompetent fool?
Who else could that voice belong to but Xi Hua Zi?
Abbess Miejue snorted and went into the cabin.
She simply couldn't be bothered with this good-for-nothing!
