Doomsday America

Chapter 17 Kicking to Death

Chapter 17 Kicking to Death

"I wonder if those two bastards will even be able to get out of Ennis alive after they go back."

Madison muttered something and started the Tyrannosaurus Rex's engine.

As the car gradually accelerated, Gavin took out his phone and checked the battery level; it was 76 percent remaining.

While browsing various social media sites, Gavin said without looking up.

"What, you can't bear to part with them after only seeing them once?"

"What are you talking about? I just... I just think it feels pretty good to see living people in the apocalypse."

"That's really good. I actually hope I'll have more chances to run into people, since people are much easier to deal with than zombies at this time of year."

As Gavin answered, he slightly increased the video volume so that Madison could also hear the sound from the phone video.

There were screams, shouts, explosions, and piercing car horns—a chaotic scene.

Madison dodged the headless corpse lying on the road and casually asked Gavin.

"Where is this?"

San Francisco.

"What about Los Angeles? I'd like to know how Hollywood is doing?"

"Let me look for it."

Gavin searched for a moment, then found a video of a large fire and showed it to Madison.

"As you wish, Hollywood Hills, the fire started in Beverly Hills."

At this point, Gavin smiled and shook his head.

"If we have nowhere to go in the future, Hollywood might be a good option. Who knows, this fire might wipe out all the zombies in the area!"

"Haha, I love this joke. Those celebrities don't even have to break a sweat; they can earn more than us just by sleeping with producers and directors."

"They have more than you, but they're still far behind me."

Gavin casually replied, then patted Madison's arm.

They have now passed the body by nearly three kilometers.

"Slow down ahead, let me check the situation."

Gavin said, while rolling down the car window and looking through the 8x scope into the darkness and faint light on the right side of the road.

Seeing this, Madison asked in a low voice.

"Oh right, this is a small town too, right? What's it called again, Pa something?"

"Palmer is a very small town, far from the main road. It was gradually built around the Palmer Farm, which was located near the forest."

“When I was six years old, my family and I came here to buy a cow. It was a cow from Palmer Farms that won the gold medal in the Houston cow competition that year. But after I grew up, they turned the farm into a resort and made a lot of money.”

After saying that, Gavin put down the 8x scope and then took out the Dallas map he had found at the gas station to look at it.

After taking a couple of glances, Gavin said in a low voice.

"Highway 45 splits into two before Ennis, one of which runs right through the center of Ennis."

"The other road is to the left, passing the drive-in movie theater in Ennis, and skimming the edge of Ennis."

"us……"

Gavin paused for a moment at this point.

Then, he said expressionlessly.

"We waited for a moment at the fork in the road before Ennis; I had some things I wanted to verify."

"Ha, I knew you were a good leader. Cold-blooded killers like Jordan are nowhere near as warm as the Cowboy King, who's like the sun!"

Madison burst out laughing, his huge facial features twitching as he spoke.

"If you ask me, that bastard Eugene will definitely survive a long time in the apocalypse, at least longer than that cop."

"Besides, who knows how many people are left alive in America? What if we're the only four left alive in all of Dallas? With the two of them around, at least the cop can do our laundry!"

"Who knows?"

Gavin narrowed his eyes noncommittally and pointed to Ennis on the map.

"I just want to see if those two bastards will make a mess of Ennis. If I have the chance, I'd like to learn from Ennis's zombie activities and gain some experience in dealing with the zombie hordes in the town."

After saying that, Gavin put down the map, leaned back in his chair, and lit a cigarette.

Madison grunted twice and continued driving at 60 mph.

After walking nearly eight kilometers in this orderly manner.

Suddenly, a car headlight appeared in the distance!
"Woohoo~"

Upon seeing the high beams, Madison patted the steering wheel and laughed.

"I knew those two bastards would come out alive. After all, they're just as lucky as us!"

"Is it?"

Gavin quietly straightened up, frowned, looked at the light, and asked Madison.

"Take another look. Do you think Ford could possibly produce such bright lights?"

"What? You mean that wasn't them?"

Madison was a little surprised, then squinted and looked ahead.

After one glance... swish...

The headlights in the distance suddenly changed from one set to two sets, and the second set of lights was even flickering left and right, which looked really eerie.

There are two cars!

Madison finally got serious, taking his right hand off the steering wheel and gripping the lever nozzle.

Gavin nodded to him.

"There are two cars, but the lights on the second car are very similar to the Ford we just saw."

As soon as he finished speaking, he picked up the 8x scope and took a look.

Avoiding the glaring lights, Gavin used his exceptional eyesight to carefully discern the details, then gave a wry smile.

"That looks like a motorhome, and there's a Ford behind it. Could they really still be alive?"

"Fuck, you can even see that clearly?"

Madison opened his mouth in surprise, then seemed to remember something and asked with a strange expression.

"But why did they chase that RV?"

"How should I know? Let me go over and take a look."

Gavin waved his hand forward, and Madison immediately accelerated, the Tyrannosaurus Rex engine roared, and the speed soared to 150 miles per hour.

In less than half a minute, Madison began to slow down, and then the RV finally collided with the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

"Help! Help!"

When the two vehicles were about ten meters apart, a slightly hoarse female voice came from the driver's seat of the RV.

The moment the sound rang out, Madison's spirits lifted.

"Holy crap, a woman!"

He quickly looked at Gavin, who frowned and replied.

"Stop thinking about women, you fucking take a good look at the condition of this RV!"

"The glass was shattered, the car body had bloodstains and scratches, and there was even the upper half of a zombie stuck in the RV's bumper!"

"what?"

By the time Madison heard this and tried to look, the two cars had already completely missed each other, and even the old Ford had passed the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

All that could be heard was William's piercing screams coming from afar in Ford.

And what William shouted was...

"dad!!!"

Stab it!

Madison suddenly drifted, made a U-turn on the road, and chased after Ford.

Both the RV and the Ford were very fast, at least 130 miles per hour, which is more than 200 kilometers per hour.

But this speed was child's play for the modified Tyrannosaurus Rex.

In the blink of an eye, the Tyrannosaurus Rex appeared on the passenger side of the Ford, driving alongside it.

Madison rolled down the window and shouted something to the Ford.

"What happened, you little dwarf!"

"Fuck, my little William's shitty dad is stuck in the RV's bumper!"

Eugene gripped the steering wheel and shouted back, then kicked William, who kept trying to step on the gas.

"Fuck William, you can't go any faster! Do you think this is a Koenigsegg? This is just a Ford, a fucking used Ford!"

"Ahhh, that's my dad!!!"

William was completely stunned; his screams even gave Madison goosebumps.

Madison turned around and said awkwardly to Gavin.

"I suddenly don't want to team up with that kid anymore. He's not only inexperienced, he's also a bit reckless..."

"Stop joking, go check out that RV. I love RVs, they're perfect for the apocalypse!"

Gavin gave the instructions while waving his hand, and Madison immediately sped up and arrived in front of the RV in the blink of an eye.

Seeing that there was no one in the passenger seat of the RV, Madison continued to accelerate, changed direction ahead of the RV, and put himself on the driver's side.

"Help! I can't drive! Help!!!"

As soon as the two appeared beside the RV, the woman driving the RV hurriedly shouted to Gavin.

Gavin glanced at it twice, and his expression darkened slightly.

The driver wasn't an adult at all, but a girl who looked to be under thirteen!

Gavin quickly rolled down the car window and shouted to the child driving.

"Shut up and lift your foot!"

"what?"

"Don't move your hands, lift your feet!"

Gavin didn't say anything about the accelerator or brake, he just told the girl to lift her foot.

For a motorhome to reach this speed, did the kid step on the gas pedal?
