Chapter 369, Section 367: At Flourish and Blotts Bookstore
As Sheen pondered, all sorts of strangely shaped clouds swept past them.
Below them appeared a train, which whirred and snaked its way around a snow-covered mountain.
This easily reminded Sheen of the Hogwarts Express, and it also easily made Sheen understand something else.
Just like at Hogwarts, he went to Ephamoni, where there were many humorous and witty wizards;
He had accumulated some "spools of yarn," which might be the reason he could stay longer.
The next time he enters the dream space, perhaps he can observe these clumps of thread more closely; they seem to be of different sizes…
Sheen wrote his plans in his notebook, and time slipped away as he passed through the clouds.
Some clouds would drift softly through the gaps in the carriage doors and land on Sheen's parchment by the huge carriage windows.
That was an invitation drafted by Sheehan, which had already been carried away by a paper airplane. Meanwhile, in faraway Diagon Alley, at the soon-to-open Fairy Tale Shop, Quirrell watched respectfully as the paper airplane landed on his desk.
He gazed into the distance in the direction the paper airplane had come from, where a young wizard was examining a small mirror in his hand.
Another hour passed. The sun began to sink below the clouds, turning the sea of clouds pink.
"We're almost at Diagon Alley."
Newt knows.
Diagon Alley?
Sheen, who was engrossed in various books about two-way mirrors, was awakened and repeated the words somewhat blankly.
"Of course, darling, you don't think we can get directly to Hogwarts, do you? It's a no-fly zone."
A smaller version of Professor Terra spoke slowly in the mirror.
Now Sean understood why Harry and Ron's car had gone out of control, and why he had to sign for a flight permit.
Without permission, there's a high chance his broom won't be able to fly when he's in first grade.
He nodded and then looked to his side.
The window was open, and sunlight streamed in. Sheen could hear the sounds of traffic on the obscured Muggle street below, as well as the clamor of the unseen crowds in Diagon Alley.
During the Christmas holidays, large numbers of Hogwarts students flocked to Diagon Alley.
As Sheen gazed out the window, pondering where they should stop, Will emerged from the wooden door of the Wizard's Book and handed Sheen a pair of binoculars.
"Thank you, Will."
Then Sheen saw a familiar face.
“I always feel like someone is watching us, Mom.”
Hermione frowned as she took the hand of a woman in a long robe.
“Honey, they’ll definitely think you’re adorable.”
The woman smiled radiantly.
"mom!"
Hermione stomped her foot.
Sheen, who could hear the voices, looked at Will with a hint of surprise.
“Some small magical items made by fairies, esteemed Mr. Grin.”
Will stood very straight, wearing a suit that was much too small, looking every bit the reliable butler.
"Amplification spell, summoning spell... it can even be used in the realm of sound, summoning sound, it's truly magic."
Sheen began to study binoculars out of curiosity.
His quill pen rustled softly as it slowly wrote down the magical runes on the binoculars.
"Oh, oh. Yes."
Will's straight back hunched slightly, then straightened up even more firmly.
"Can I take it apart and put it back together?"
Sheen inquired.
"As you wish."
Will was startled.
"Thank you, Will... Scarpin, for revealing yourself."
Sheen smiled.
With a flick of his wand, the binoculars disassembled. Various parts and materials floated in the air. After a while, Sheen understood the manufacturing process, but he still lacked practical experience to replicate it.
[You have practiced making a sound-following binoculars to a beginner level, proficiency +3]
However, my proficiency with the panel increased very quickly.
Lowering the binoculars, the vehicle pulled by the fire dragon had already come to a standstill in mid-air.
"Apparition, my dear."
Professor Terra, who is a smaller version of himself, said.
"The Fire Dragon and Mr. Scamander..."
Sheen asked.
"Oh, don't worry, we'll be back soon... I also have some materials to retrieve from the Hebrides."
The smaller version of Professor Terra pulled out a long list.
It seems that all parts of the fire dragon can be found on it.
Although she didn't know how the professor would choose, Sheen said she understood.
"Will, please."
Sheen turned to Will.
"my pleasure!"
Will straightened his back.
……
Diagon Alley was bustling with people.
The young wizard frequented Weasley & Grimm's Trick Room the most. Also ranking highly were Quidditch Boutique and Florin Fosco Ice Cream Shop.
So, in the Quidditch shop, Sheehan spotted Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas of Gryffindor, who were eyeing Nimbus 2001 with longing. Outside Florin Fosco Ice Cream Shop, Sheehan also saw Neville, with Hermione by his side, who was about to take him to Flourish and Blotts.
"Stop eating, Navei."
Hermione said helplessly.
"Oh...oh...okay."
Neville obediently followed Hermione away. They didn't notice that in a corner of Diagon Alley, the young wizard was experimenting with his hastily made binoculars.
Sheen didn't notice that a curly-haired Master of Fantastic Beasts, wearing an old brown trench coat, suddenly appeared beside him.
“Ms. Terra, let’s go to… Fairy Tale Workshop first. She needs some time to get the materials.”
Newt still spoke shyly, which was unlike how he was in his dream.
“Yes, Mr. Scamander.”
Sheen responded. He inexplicably imagined Professor Terra fighting a fire dragon.
He later dismissed the idea himself, since it would be difficult for a fire dragon to exchange more than a few blows with Professor Terra.
The two walked along the cobblestone streets of Diagon Alley, where wizards were constantly surprised to recognize Mr. Scamander and excitedly ask for his autograph.
Mr. Scamander shyly signed his name.
As they passed by Flourish and Blotts, Sheehan realized that the store always had a special section dedicated to selling Fantastic Beasts books.
Even in the outdoor exhibition section, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is placed in the center.
Hermione was engrossed in reading "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," while Neville stared wide-eyed beside her.
"Hermione..."
Neville reminds Hermione, who is engrossed in the book.
Hermione looked up abruptly, revealing the title page of the book in her hand, which featured a moving photograph of Newt in his youth.
"Master Scamander..."
Hermione's mouth dropped open.
The characters from the book came out, and Hermione was in a strange daze.
When she looked closely, her daze was shattered by surprise.
"Sheen!"
