Chapter 11 Music and 6 Steps - Hypnosis Process

Chapter 11 Music and Six Steps - Hypnosis Process (3)
Hypnotist: "One, two, three, it feels good to open your eyes, doesn't it? Now, please look at the blank wall opposite you, and tell me what you see?" (If at this time, the hypnotized person does not If the hypnotist does not answer immediately, the hypnotist should not rush him. Give him enough time, and then encourage him to describe what he saw. If the hypnotized person sees the clock, you can proceed to the next test, otherwise, prepare to end.)
Hypnotist: "Now, please close your eyes. You will enter a deeper hypnotic state."

The sixth level of hypnotic depth: The hypnotized person begins to appear in a very deep sleepwalking state, and begins to have negative hallucinations, that is, people or things that actually exist cannot be seen. The senses of hearing, touch, and vision all disappeared, and only the hypnotist's hints could be heard.

Negative hallucinations. The hypnotist can give the following suggestion to the hypnotized person: "wait a while, I will count from one to three, when I count to three, please open your eyes, but you are still in a deep hypnotic state When you open your eyes, you want to write something, but you can't see your pen. Your pen suddenly disappears. You want to write something, but you can't find your pen. You might even say I took your pen away."

Hypnotist: "One, two, three, open your eyes, it feels good, doesn't it?" (At this time, the hypnotist needs to give the hypnotized person enough time for your suggestion to take effect gradually.)
Hypnotist: "Now, please close your eyes. We are going to end the hypnotic state."

Hypnotist: "Wait a minute, I will count from one to five, and you can open your eyes and fully return to a normal state of consciousness. You will remember everything that happened during the hypnosis just now. When you open your eyes After the eyes, you will feel refreshed and comfortable. One, two, three, four, five, good, open your eyes, you feel very comfortable, don't you?"

According to relevant clinical experience, about 80% of people can reach the first and second deep hypnotic states; about 60% of people can reach the third and fourth deep hypnotic states; only 20% of people can reach the third deep hypnosis. Five or six levels of deep hypnosis.

In fact, the whole process of hypnosis can be said to be a process of cooperation between the hypnotized person and the hypnotist. Therefore, before hypnosis, the establishment of the hypnotic relationship between the hypnotist and the hypnotized person directly affects whether the hypnosis can continue.

When the hypnotist and the hypnotized person determine the hypnotic relationship, they generally follow four principles, namely the principles of trust, relaxation, attention, and cooperation.

1. The principle of trust
The trust mentioned here is a kind of inner trust, not the trust of the subjective consciousness of the mind. Such trust is not easy to achieve. In the process of hypnosis, the degree of trust of the hypnotized person in the hypnotist directly determines the possible depth of hypnosis. Before hypnosis, many people will swear that they will completely trust the hypnotist. However, during the process of hypnosis, if you don't obey the hypnotist's instructions due to some worries, you will automatically open your eyes, and naturally you will not be able to enter the hypnotic state.Especially those with criminal pasts.

There is a person who always has nightmares, and he can always dream that a scary-looking person is demanding his life. This nightmare has tortured him to death. The thing he fears the most every day is going to sleep. He only goes to sleep for a while when he is too sleepy. Even so, he is always haunted by nightmares. He tried many ways, but to no avail.Later, he heard that hypnosis might have some therapeutic effect on his nightmares, so he decided to try it.

But it was very difficult for the hypnotist to hypnotize him.Because he can't always trust the hypnotist, his vigilance has been kept high.He finally entered the state of hypnosis. When the hypnotist extracted his memory, he immediately opened his eyes, and left in a hurry without saying anything. It didn't take long before the man was arrested for homicide.

In addition, it is difficult for a person to be hypnotized under the drive of curiosity.Because you cannot fully trust the hypnotist, you will have doubts about the hypnotist and the hypnotist, and you will maintain a certain degree of vigilance. However, if you are participating in a group hypnosis process, then your vigilance will be lowered, and the hypnosis can proceed smoothly.

The feeling and impression the hypnotist gives to the hypnotized person is also very important. For example, if the hypnotized person always feels that the hypnotist is like a bad person, his vigilance will be greatly improved, let alone trust the hypnotist. Therefore, when you cannot accept this hypnotist hypnotizing you, you can try another hypnotist.

2. Relaxation principle
This is relaxation based on the principle of trust. We found that whether it is dreaming or hypnosis, we are all in a relaxed state, so learning to relax is the first step for us to get in touch with the subconscious. It is impossible to enter a hypnotic state if one cannot even relax.

Relaxation before hypnosis is not only a physical relaxation, but also a psychological relaxation, and psychological relaxation is particularly important. The hypnotist usually conducts a relaxation training for the hypnotized person.

In this process, the hypnotized person should really get rid of all kinds of pressure, temptation and influence from the outside world, so that his heart can be in a very peaceful state.Because only when your heart is quiet, you will clearly feel any subtle changes in your inner world. In this way, it is also possible to get in touch with your subconscious world more deeply.

However, it is not easy to completely relax the whole body and mind.Because as we grow older, our physical behavior has been branded with the brand of subjective conscious activity control, which makes our body always in a state of self-protection, self-prevention and even ready to attack at any time.We will be vigilant and alert to the surrounding environment and people, so naturally we cannot truly relax.

Before hypnosis, the hypnotized person must first believe that the hypnotist and the surrounding environment can be trusted, lower their vigilance, and then close their eyes.

When we close our eyes, the outside world is cut off from our subjective consciousness. At this time, our external visual world disappears, and we enter a preliminary state of relaxation.Under the suggestion of the hypnotist, our senses of hearing, touch, taste and smell are gradually isolated, and we feel that we are in a safe environment. When our external intuitions are blocked, we obtain the objective conditions to relax ourselves.

But our bodies remain in a state of rigidity due to the habitual patterns of our mind and body. This requires us to gradually relax every part of our body bit by bit when we follow the instructions of the hypnotist.Until our consciousness completely gives up control of the body, so that our body enters a state of complete relaxation.

However, a real relaxation has not been achieved at this time, because our subjective consciousness is still active, that is, our brain has not yet relaxed. At this time, we will feel the thoughts flashing in our brain one after another, only stress but no relaxation. This requires us to follow the instructions of the hypnotist, take repeated deep breaths, and focus our attention on our breathing.Gradually, we will feel the real relaxation of body and mind. The conscious activity of our brain slows down, and our subconscious mind becomes active accordingly.

3. Focus on principles
After we gain trust in the hypnotist and relax our body and mind, we must limit the scope of our conscious activities to paying attention to the instructions and hints of the hypnotist, and adopt a completely ignorant or indifferent attitude towards the external environment.

4. Coordination principle
Hypnosis is actually a process of cooperation between the hypnotist and the hypnotized person. In the eyes of many people, the magic of hypnosis is that the hypnotist can control everything about the hypnotized person. In other words, in the whole process of hypnosis, it seems that the initiative is always in the hands of the hypnotist. In fact, this is a wrong understanding, because no matter how good a hypnotist is, as long as the hypnotized person does not cooperate with his hypnotic work, he cannot hypnotize the hypnotized person.

In fact, the essence of hypnosis is that the hypnotized person actively cooperates with the instructions of the hypnotist to put himself into a hypnotic state. That is to say, in the process of hypnosis, the initiative of hypnosis is always in the hands of the hypnotized person.

In the process of hypnosis, there are four elements that can be said to be essential to achieve hypnosis, namely relaxation, deep breathing, imagination, and suggestion.

(1) RELAX.Relaxation is the key to entering the hypnotic state, and hypnosis is also one of the effective ways to help people relax themselves. In a relaxed state, people can feel a quiet, peaceful, pleasant and comfortable feeling. This can make the hypnotized person enter the hypnotic state very well.

During hypnosis, hypnotists generally choose progressive relaxation techniques, which is a commonly used method of relaxing the body and mind. The hypnotist can give hint instructions to the hypnotized person, so that the hypnotized person can gradually relax every muscle of the body from head to toe.The general order to follow is as follows: crown of head, eyebrows, eyes, nose, ears, face, mouth, chin, neck, shoulders, chest, belly, buttocks, feet, legs, hands. You can also relax in the opposite direction from the feet to the head, where the relaxation of the neck and shoulders is the key.If the hypnotized person enters the relaxation stage, the hypnotist will generally find that the hypnotized person's shoulders gradually relax, and the head gradually lowers, all of which indicate that the hypnotized person's shoulders and neck have been well relaxed.

If you encounter people who are not easy or do not know how to relax themselves during the hypnosis process, you can take two-way guidance of tension while relaxing. For example, when relaxing the neck, you can first take the opposite method and let the hypnotized person straighten his neck. When the hypnotized person feels very tired, it is easy to let his neck relax slowly.Practice has proved that this method is very effective for those who have difficulty or do not know how to relax.

(2) Take a deep breath. Many people ignore our breath, but breath is so important to us, it is an essential element for our life.In the process of hypnosis, the hypnotist guides the hypnotized person to take conscious deep breaths through hints, so that the hypnotized person's attention can be focused on the inside of his body.

With deep breathing, the hypnotized person can inhale a large amount of fresh oxygen, which will increase the oxygen content of the blood in the hypnotized person's body, and the metabolism of various organs in the body will reach a balanced state.

We usually don't pay attention to breathing in our daily life, but take it as a natural behavior. That's because breathing is actually a work in charge of the subconscious mind. When the hypnotized person focuses on breathing, he has no time to take care of other things, which can reduce distracting thoughts.

Moreover, when we use our consciousness to breathe, our subconscious mind will be relatively relaxed, and it will have more space to accept the instructions of the hypnotist.Deep breathing is the most effective way to calm a person down quickly. Therefore, the hypnotist's suggestion of deep breathing during the hypnosis process is the key to helping the hypnotized person enter a deep hypnotic state.

(3) Imagination.Imagination is a factor closely related to hypnotic sensitivity in the process of hypnosis.People with richer imaginations generally have higher sensitivity.According to relevant surveys, people with rich imaginations are generally easier to accept hypnosis.

When the hypnotist meets those hypnotized persons who have poor imagination, they can first conduct some imagination training on the hypnotized persons. For example, add some guiding words that stimulate imagination during the hypnosis process.

(4) IMPLICATIONS.It can be said that hypnosis is a process in which the hypnotist continuously suggests to the hypnotized person. This shows how important suggestion is in hypnosis. The hypnotist gives some positive hints to the hypnotized person during hypnosis, which is very helpful to the hypnotized person.

It should be noted that the hypnotist must pay attention to every sentence of his own during the hypnosis process, because every sentence of yours has a suggestive effect on the hypnotized person.

When the hypnotist hints to the hypnotized person, he must pay attention not to use negative language, but to use more positive, positive, affirmative, simple, reliable, and easy-to-achieve language.

If the hypnotist wants your suggestion to have a certain effect when the hypnotized person is awake, he needs to repeat the suggestion several times in order to deepen the hypnotized person's impression of the suggestion.
